Youngsters, his father was an old-school man, the type you rarely see anymore. When I first started working at 18, during the 80s, these were the guys still running things in most places, they scared the crap out of me. They were usually World War II or Korean veterans; they'd seen it all. This current generation couldn't handle someone like that for five seconds.
Sure, it's not like kids have been fighting and dying in Iraq and Afghanistan for the past 30 years. But yeah, it's an "older generation thing." There's nothing stoic about what gangsters do. They kill and steal. For every mob movie hero, there's a real-life example of one who killed his wife or stole from his own family.
The current generation is the most battle tested, and combat experienced than any other generation in this country's history. Then they came home to find their politicians sold out their country by outsourcing their jobs, decimating the middle class, and destroying the economy where only the rich get richer and the poor never get out of poverty. Wtf are you talking about?
Wow! That’s was one of the most bad ass stories I’ve heard in my life! We all wish we were that tough. I’d be like whipped dog whimpering with my tail between my legs.

The details are important here. It's not an empty thread to get what he wants. He's willing to sacrifice himself knowing full well he will go to prison if he follows through with breaking the knee caps.
Not to forget he wants to help the kid that got hit in the head with a chair as well.

Chris and those other NY comics have been murdering the past few years. I'm so pleased they're getting the recognition they deserve. Well done Chris.
Nyc comics better than LA comics .
@@Gambit9020 Yep. There is something about growing up in LA that doesn't lend itself to comedy to the same degree. It's like it's too comfortable or something.
East coast comics are better because they grow up having people busting their balls and them doing it to other people. California comedians don’t grow up that way.

If I had to shoehorn the average JRE listener into one tiny paragraph it would be yours Johnson..
war changes people
Sure, it's not like kids have been fighting and dying in Iraq and Afghanistan for the past 30 years.
