    • @michaelnice93
      @michaelnice93 16 днів тому +16

      It’s a glittering generalization or platitude. Most people identify as a collection of thoughts, which are generated by the mind. It’s impossible to master it since we are downstream from it.
      One in a million can go beyond the mind entirely and identify as consciousness itself. That’s not his teaching though.
      I regard the mind as a tool like an imaginary knife that cuts an imaginary version of the world into separate objects. Spiritual practice is putting the knife down. The objects are then no longer separate, the experience can become a doorway to the real world beyond the imagination. It’s the exit to the matrix but few are interested enough to walk through it. Sad guru is just a slick salesman.

      @@UnknownTribe-z3e If a firefighter runs into a burning building to help someone, is that to look good? No, it's doing something that matters. It is great and very fortunate that tax breaks are given to non-profit work, but I guarantee even if we lived in a society where no financial help was given by the world, Sadhguru is still giving his all to do what is needed... Save Soil (which is a 30,000km motorcycle journey, 27 countries, in 100 days), Cauvery Calling (millions of trees planted around a prominent river basin in India to reverse its erosion), 9,500 mile motorcycle trip across U.S. talking to Native American cultures.
      But back to the Save Soil movement, I hope you already do understand, if not, can imagine how absolutely back-breaking it is to visit 27 countries in 100 days, attending 7 events on every day lasting hours long.
      I mean come on... I understand people are always skeptical but this is just getting ridiculous. This man is legitimately giving his life to do what is needed to help the world. It's as if in people's eyes it's impossible to do something higher than the purpose of finances alone, money money money. No... it's about you, and you. I always find it strange and funny how people are unable to see past money. Money is a commodity, useful to get things done, but people shouldn't let it get to their head or it becomes a disease... Please don't believe everyone has the same disease. Look at the work.

    I did Sadhgurus 7 step program called "Inner Engineering" in 2018 where I learned a very effective meditation practice and other smaller practices to bring balance and wellbeing to my mind and emotions. It has been incredibly transformative. I overcame mental blocks and mental baggage - even stuff that bothered me since childhood. Few examples: Other peoples opinion always were a big factor for me which drastically reduced, almost vanished. It is such a freedom. I don't need to chase big experiences outside anymore (partying, traveling, sex, alcohol etc.) and then feeling disappointed/empty later on - because my present experience became good enough. No matter how many tasks and deadlines there are at my workplace I can remain calm and focused. Just because of the practices and tools of this program. 100% recommendation :)

    it’s a lot better to live free of it. I’ve suffered a lot-I won’t sit here and qualify my traumas, but I’m no stranger to suffering. I live with it daily as a disabled vet with BPD and a chronic illness nicknamed the suicide disease. I lived in fear of the suffering and pain for years. Now, after years of being sick and in pain, I’ve acknowledged and accepted it in an almost intimate way. Do your best and don’t live in black and white thinking. Nothing, or nobody for that matter, is a lost cause. Suffering, and life, is what you make it. I’ve learned that there is always always something to be grateful for. Suffering will come. Don’t fear it, accept it; that is the only way you’ll ever have peace. And remember, without suffering, you can’t have a redemption story.
    I spend my days, though mostly bedridden, trying my hardest to dance my way through hell. I live by strict “one day at a time” policy for myself. I don’t let my thinking time travel. I focus on the moment and focus on my breath when I get overwhelmed. Meditation makes it all possible. Don’t give up. There’s a million ways to meditate-find a way. Commit to yourself and your wellbeing. You’re worth it. You’re doing your best every day. Remember that and give yourself grace. Accept what you cannot change, change what you can. Trust yourself, your gut and your wisdom. You’ve gotten yourself through everything before and you will get yourself through this. I promise. ❤

      You literally just wrote a love letter to YOURSELF....especially the last part.
      If you have deeper thinking you will understand that it was your subconscious writing that out but really all your doing is telling yourself that things will be just fine.
      Keep on rolling brother.

      he talks to people to try and get to the Truth of who people are. Theo does this because he’s genuinely interested in how others think and do what they do. not too help the Country get back on track. yes he had Trump and Vance on his show and he also asked Kamala and Walz to come on. If you say that Kamala and Walz didn’t go on Theo’s podcast because they don’t care about the American people because Trump and Vance did you are more unintelligent than I previously thought. Who knows why, it could have been scheduling or 1000 different things. BUT If Kamala would have come on the pod you’d be talking shit on Theo. It’s just how simple minded ppl think. All you believe is what you think is true, not what is actually true. Yea Theo loves this country, but he does not interview certain people to try and prove a point. This is what you fail to understand.
