Good morning Gayle, this is a beautiful journal. I love those paper clips you granddaughters made. Did you ever upload that on you tube? I’d love to see how you make those, they are ver adorable and a great way to make good use of those tiny scraps I hate to throw out. LOL. The night time forest theme is wonderful and the elements you included and created are just so charming. Then again, you always create the most amazing journals. Mahlo for sharing your talent with us. I learn something new every time and look forward to many more days of creative inspiration from you. Lots of aloha and blessings! Shana
Hi Shana! I followed a tutorial by Paula Foerder on You Tube to create the paper clips, so I haven't done a video on them. You're right! It's a great way to use tiny scraps! Have a great Easter, my friend! Sending love and hugs! ❤️
I think its lovely you craft with your granddaughters. They must be thrilled to have their work put in your journals. They are as talented as their Grandmother!! Lovely album Gayle!!
Aaww, Laurie, thank you so much! Spending time with my granddaughters in my craft room is one of the greatest joys in my life! Thanks for your sweet comment! ❤️
Oh, Paulette, I'm so sorry that I put the wrong shop in the description! I'll get that changed for sure! I used it in my boho journal and think I got the link right on that one. I've obviously got too many digis and have lost track! Thank you for correcting me! I love the wallpaper digis! ❤️
Gayle, I Love it! It's so beautiful ! You'll have to tell Me the name of the story book where those illustrations are from. I recognize the artwork & it's exactly the kind of thing I like. Lovin gthe vintage wallpaper digis too! Those altered paperclips by Your Granddaughters are so special. I will treasure this forever! Love that You included the definition of kindness. It means even more to Me that You included so many things inspired by Tracie as She's such a good Friend of Mine. And You did one thing that was so uncanny it was almost spooky! At the start, You made a swing tag inspired by Tracie & added a PG Tips card. Tracie gifted Me several boxes full of hundreds of Vintage Tea Cards a while back plus a box of amazing vintage post cards (all with writing on) as a Thank You gift & among the tea cards She sent Me this image of the Wolves is My absolute favorite! I have a few of each image & was planning to put the Wolves inside this Journal when I got it! Amazing that You included it & that it has more of a connection with both Tracie & Me than You ever could have realized. Thank You so much Gayle! This means so much to Me! I knew it was My Journal coming up by the title as soon as I saw the desktop notification! :) Aahh! I Love it!! So glad You left the fabric on the spine. I love this fabric & it really goes with the cover. Will message You as soon as I've seen to the ratties. It's 1.19am & They still haven't been fed! I've been working like crazy to finish this Journal I'm working on. Watch out for My video Tomorrow. Quadruple ((((hugs!))))
Yay! I'm so glad that you like it!! It was so fun to do! It was a theme I never would have thought of on my own. Thanks so much, Rebekah! We'll be in touch! Hugs! ❤️
+Gayle Agostinelli Sorry Gayle! Only just saw this reply! Wow! My comment was longer than a Readers Digest Condensed Book! :'D I was just so excited though! lol Only a few more hours to go! I love it even more now than I did at the start. It really is glorious! I just realized all the images I gave You were bunnies! It wasn't deliberate either. ((((Giant Hugs!))))
Another Beautiful Journal, She will love it, your said the tie was seam binding, what kind of seam binding is it? I have heard of Hug Snug or Snug Hug or thing like that. Is that what you used?
Gorgeous journal! You did a great job of combining the styles. I so enjoy your craft with me videos. I think its great the granddaughters get to craft with you in person. I'm sure you are making some good memories there.

Hi Nancy! I used illustrations from 3 vintage books. Everyday Classics Primer by Baker & Thorndike, The Brown Owl’s Story by Amy Prentice, and Round the Year by Gates and Huber. The copyrights are 1926, ?, and 1933. Hope that helps! Welcome to my channel!! ❤️
Not proud of that little Granddaughters are You? lol! I don't blame You ; she gets her talent from her Grandma! Beautiful journal; awesome job Gayle! Thank You for sharing.
Rivers89H My Etsy shop is CinnamonT. It is currently on vacation as I'm recovering from shoulder surgery. I will reopen when I'm sufficiently recovered. I don't advertise custom orders. People generally convo me on Etsy or email me at Gayle.agostinelli@gmail.com. I have 13 custom orders currently on a waiting list for after my surgery recovery. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching, my dear, and for your interest! ❤️
I love your books..so beautiful. I'm just curious do you generally make things, specifically for your journals while making them..or do you have days where you make specific kinds of ephemera, coffee dyed pieces, etc and have them in your stash whenever you need them..or just a combination of both?
Hi Durinda! Definitely a combination of both! When I craft with others at retreats and such, I usually make ephemera. It's just easier to haul the supplies for ephemera than working on a whole journal. Also, when I make ephemera for a certain journal, I try to make an extra or two for future journals. Sometimes, though, a journal or certain pages tells me to make something specific for it, so I stop and make that piece. Hope that helps! Have a great day, my friend! ❤️
Gayle Agostinelli that is a great idea for retreats. I have only gone twice but definitely struggled with trying to decide what to take..gonna file that one away for future reference..I definitely need a retreat in my life.lol thanks for your help..have a very blessed and wonderful Easter.
