    here the best tip cooking brown rice, get yourself a pressure cooker and add 1:2 ratio of rice to water may be little more and cook it for 3 whistles. Thats all!! 20 mins its done, nice and dry. Enjoy!

    I love at 1.01 when Jim said he bought white baked potato that you both shook your heads with shame in unison! My brother's on a huge health high atm. He's doing really well. After nearly 3 months he's got a lot more muscle. Only thing is he's eating all the bloody chicken in the house. What low fat meats are there I can tell him about?

    Thanks guys! I'm learning more and more about nutrition, but I was unaware of the cottage cheese at the end! I tend to snack on nuts already (non-salted, etc). Sweet potatoes are awesome with macadamia nuts and spinach leaves, btw.
    Thanks! Subscribed!! ^_^

    Your videos are always so inspiring and interesting. when ever I watch them I am alway thinking of what I myself can substitute for something more healthier like snaking on nuts or something. My mum buys most of the things you have bought from Waitrose, for my breakfast I normally have avocado with scrambled eggs and smoked salmon ( I think that is an ok breakfast I'm not too sure). love ya !!xx

    yams are similar to sweet potatoes but they have a higher sugar content so they're not as good for you (higher glycemic index).

  • @miloradvlaovic
    @miloradvlaovic 11 років тому

    It's not hard to understand at all, whatmore, as I said, it's the ideal way to go about it. But most people simply do not have the time to pick, cook and calculate their nutritional intake , and the "artificial stuff" is neither toxic, nor unhealthy, as long as it comes from licensed supplier/manufacturer and is used according to the instructions. So in a nutshell I did not say: use supplements, merely that there is nothing wrong in using them, moderately.

  • @miloradvlaovic

    This is the ideal way to eat when wanting to build muscle, however it is very unpractical, as well. Which means, it's fine to substitute even half of that with a supplemen t, we all have lives, honestly :)

    Another great video guys, but does not really address vegetarians like myself who do not eat fish, chicken, eggs etc, I do eat a lot of nuts and fresh fruit and veg, sweet potato etc, I also eat cheese, so I am wondering if there is a healthy option when it comes to cheese , I cannot stomach cottage cheese and I tried greek yoghurt ( same brand) for the first time last week and that won't be happening again, so any recomendations for an awkward vegetarian ?, many thanks

    Unsaturated fats, polyunsaturated fats and monounsaturated ( ex triacylglycerol/s , oils, fats that are liquid on room temperature ) are good, they provide energy and have extremely low tendency to accumulate. Saturated and trans-fats , even cholesterol are EXTREMELY BAD. The body normally creates endogenous cholesterol it need, so despite the fact it's a precursor to steroid hormones, that is part of cellular ( membrane ) structure, even the most minute excess is extremely dangerous.

    What would you guys recommend for me to eat, if I want to loose fat, but also gain muscle?
