Made these last night and they tasted awesome! Used macadamia almonds and pecans in mine! These are mind blowing. Used a 11X17 pan for a thinner bar as well. Great work!
Joe, thank you for this recipe I change it a little I had LiLy’’S chocolate salted caramel chips I added cocoa butter and used unsweetened Baker’s chocolate 100% cocoa pecans almonds macadamia makes the bars more solid to keep outside the fridge. Yum.
All I can say is WOW !! Made these tonight for the first time, and my wife and I thought this would be our chocolate craving go to. Thanks for your great recipes 👍
I love chocolate. So I went to the store to get me some Lilly's to make these, and I ended up just eating a serving of chocolate. I'll try again later.
Hi Joe, in Australia unfortunately we don't have much in the way of ingredients that are used in most of the recipes. Buying online is expensive because of the dreadful exchange rate, so hopefully sooner rather than later our supermarkets will get on board and supply us with more Keto friendly items. I will definitely try this one out with whatever I can source. Please continue with your quick and easy recipes, and it's wonderful that you give us weights. Cheers Rosemary Perth Western Australia (70 yrs)
@@roses9339 Hi 🙋♀️, I'm in Australia and I can make this slightly modified with ingredients from Coles or Woolworths/Safeway. I made half the recipe because I live alone, specifically from Coles, using ... 1. Harvest Box We Love Nuts Supersize Nuts (135g of Mixed Roasted Nuts) - Look in your local nut isle. 2. Half a jar of Roasted Almond Butter (250g Jar) 3. Noshu 98% Sugar Free Choc Baking Chips (150g - Used the whole packet) - Located where the baking chocolate is. It's a small yellow packet and depending on your store, you can find White, Milk and Dark Choc Chips. 4. Coconut Oil - This is available everywhere. 5. To me, the chocolate chips are sweet enough, so I don't add any additional sweetener. But I get my "Confectioners Sugar" from my local health food shops and even my favourite organic shop at my local markets. In Australia, ours is called "PBCo 98% Sugar Free Vanilla Icing Mix". Infact, if you are not vegan like me, you can order their products online which they have a dedicated Keto range. I live in Melbourne but I am from Perth, you can definitely make this yummy dessert with some slight modifications. You can use which ever nut butter you prefer and you could even use Dark Choc Chips / Block for the chocolate as it usually has very low carb and almost zero sugar. Most I've found have dairy so I won't use them. This should help you think outside the box and change up the recipes for ingredients you can get in Australia. I switch them all the time and still make yummy recipes. Take care 😍
Another awesome recipe my husband loved, loved these bars. He's not to big on Keto. Like mentioned he loved these bars, he loved the nuts. I passed this recipe to my daughter and her husband.
Joe this looks incredible. I'm dying for a Keto candy bar now. I'm shocked 6 people gave this video a thumbs down. Why? They are probably upset the way you crushed your nuts.... 😨
I am so thankful for all of your recipes! Everything is always right and delicious. I also appreciate how you get straight to the point and don’t waste our time! Blessings to you! 😍
This has become my go-to dessert. Only difference is I prefer Lily's milk chocolate chips and I use less coconut oil and substitute with butter. Good stuff!
I made this as a diabetic i was looking for something that would not raise my blood sugar this was it ate on it all day still did not raise it delicious ! Highly recommended
Thanks for sharing! I just made these today, and VERY GOOD! I keep them frozen as they melt easily. (Saw a recommendation for Cocoa Butter, might try that next.) Followed your recipe and only the Macadamia nuts were salted - these are great bars! My shows about 4 carbs per bar, but that's still GREAT, especially since I can control this. I also melted/mixed everything over a double boiler (mixing bowl over boiling water), that way I could keep it liquid - I poured mine into bar molds. I'm enjoying these a lot! And it was easy enough for this engineer to figure out and complete. (Meaning, if I can do this, so can you!)
Think of it like using avocado oil, if you're frying chicken with it, you don't necessarily want your chicken tasting like avocado. You want it to taste like juicy, fried chicken.😋 But, as they say, to each his or her own.😊
I love your No nonsense approach to food prep and the fact that your appliances are not necessarily the high-end ones. It does my heart good that you are a very regular kind of guy with great chefing abilities!
Would love to try it but I have found the advice of Dr. Ken Berry about "net carbs" holds true for me. He said to always go by the "total carbs" when counting and limiting carbs. And I have found that true because when I go by "net carbs" it knocks me out of ketosis, raises my blood sugar and adds pounds to my weight. Counting only "net carbs" may work for some I suppose, but it doesn't work for me.
I have the very same problem however, my son who also does keto, can eat all of Joe’s yummy recipes without a problem. I am always looking for a new recipe to try and this is a channel I subscribe to and visit daily🥰
I made my own chocolate bars for the first time using monk fruit. So far so good. Next time I want to try allulose with cacao. Soon I'll try baking low car breads. Cheers.
Beautiful! Eggwhite keto toast sandwich stacked with steak, bacon and avocado, with keto candy bar and ultra low carb ice cold beer to follow *Keto diet is such a nightmare lol*
Thanks For This. I’m a Diabetic that has been looking for a great alternative to sugar candy bars. This Is It. Just made some and they are great !! Heatherstone
Loving your videos. Appreciate how you share so much information about your methods and ingredients. Everything you make looks so delicious and I can't wait to try this recipe :) Thank you
Great recipe, I used organic unrefined coconut oil though as I love the little hint of coconut and chocolate together and it's a little healthier than refined oil. Yummy keto cookies
This bar is simply easy to make, has great ingredients, looks delish, and I will be making this recipe for me and my family (Mainly for me 😉). Thank you so much for sharing this recipe with your viewers and subscribers. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️❤️
This recipe looks like something I could really get behind, but I'll still be counting the total carbs for my wweight lose regimen. I especially like the incorporation of coconut oil as the fat solid for it's MCT content. This bar may not 'just' be a healthier alternative to a snickers bar, it may actually be nutritious. I'm going to make them tomorrow using a chopped bar of 85% real cocoa, salted pecans, and peanut butter because that's what I have on hand, but also because I love the chocolate/peanutbutter combo. Of course the coconut oil.
Oh my. I will love those bars. Thank you thank you. I just bought keto bars with 3 carbs. Thought l would try them. Not my fav. I am gonna make yours. Mmmm. Life saver once again you amazing man🤣. Hugs Joe. ❤️🇨🇦
Thank you ! thank you, thank you ! made it yesterday according to recipe just didn’t have macadamia nuts. The whole family love it , even though they hate the sweetener taste.
Ariel I helped at a community harvest food help. I handed out alrix. 200 quarts of roll ice cream. I told them I should take a bath in it since I can't eat it😂🤣
Looks so good I can taste it. But I can't justify the cost of the ingredients so I'll make the poor man's version of peanut butter, cocoa powder and stevia blend packets.
I don't mind the coconut flavor and would probably use coconut butter in place of the sunflower seed butter. I think I would have to add some pumpkin seeds and dried blueberries... And maybe even some Lilie's white chocolate chips.
For chopping nuts, I'd use Pampered Chef chopper (I tried store version at Target; it didn't last). Pricey, but worth it. We need to avoid getting micro plastics in our foods.
I love all your dessert recipes! I don’t feel like I’m having to make sacrifices while on the ketogenic diet. Will you be demonstrating any dinner recipes soon?

Excellent recipe. Should satisfy any chocoholic’s craving. Cut beautifully and texture is perfect! Ty...well done!
Hey Joe, do you think if I added vanilla protein powder instead of the Swerve would be ok?
May contain soy in chocolate bar label i don't understand why i see it in almost every chocolate brand!
Could i use walnuts instead of macadamia nuts or would it taste funny?Tia
I MUST stop watching your videos when I am fasting!!
I'm fasting too and still I watch these videos. I must like to torture myself.
Haha yeeeeah lol

for real !!!! i have a half hour left on 72hr fast.....dam im hungry
Use cocoa butter rather than coconut oil( without good benefits since it's refined) and you get more cocoa flavor and benefit
Cocoa butter also doesn't melt in hand as easily as the oil. It firms up.
Thanx 4the info
Coconut oil has MCTs that help the body learn to use body fat for energy instead of sugar so you can lose weight.
That makes sense to me .
Cocoa butter or cacao butter? Which one? I know cocoa butter is used for the skin.
Made these last night and they tasted awesome! Used macadamia almonds and pecans in mine! These are mind blowing. Used a 11X17 pan for a thinner bar as well. Great work!
Does it melt quickly In your fingers like other chocolate fatbombs?
