ROFL! I love it! Ludicrous fun with wacky difficult controls. I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it sure is mine 😀
It's like Contra then... in that you avoid the laser power ups, lol.
The triple shot is cool (and like Spread shot in my now obligatory Contra comparison, despite drastically different genres of game, lol)
The flying is awesome. "Go go Gadget Chopper!"

Did you ever play Sopwith? It's a super old game I used to play on an IBM 5155 and it had simple line graphics and you were a plane. I almost wonder if this dev wasn't influenced by the look of that game (specifically the CGA version, not the monochrome version I played). Obviously Space Invaders was a big influence too.
I'm pretty sure you just fought the Illuminati at the end O_o haha
4 player shared screen would be awesome, but chaotic!

The flying ended out being pretty much all that kept me alive lol, yeah lasers didn't seem like a great option. I was curious what the character would get for being full laser body though, a stronger laser plus the 4 laser limbs might be pretty unstoppable. Completing every full build gives the game more replayability. I hadn't played Sopwith, but apparently you can play it online so I gave it a try. The triple shot does look a lot like the plane firing, that's a good catch.
4 Player would be nuts, there would be more going on on the screen and the enemy shots would be harder to spot I'd imagine. Probably a lot of fun though
