"Z" is about Gen Z's struggles-feeling lonely despite social media, mental health issues, and dealing with all the fake stuff online. It calls out how they’re pressured to fit in, but a lot of what they’re told isn’t even true. There’s a warning about blindly following trends or canceling people, and the chorus reminds them that it'll all catch up eventually. The amount of energy they put out that night, while all suffering from the flu, was astonishing to all of us there. But it adds a lot of body and color to the other vocal lines.

They have so much fun with this song. You should watch the different versions of Z since it is short. In a live session two years ago, no audience and they were in everyday clothes they would wear at home. They were still explosive, using the camera as their audience. At the Teatro Metropolitan they extended the song by having a longer drum and bass intro. Dany talking longer to work up the crowd. So the girls were sick during this show which is amazing considering how well they did performing so many songs. I believe that, even though we know Pau was sick, I'm pretty sure Ale was worse and her mic was probably turned down. Their recordings for Sirius XM is incredible and you can hear Ale really good in all the songs. 😁🤘
Ale is often a little low in the mix, either because she's singing quietly, or maybe her low voice isn't standing out. In at least one interview she says she likes to sing backing vocals but not lead, so for whatever reason it seems she doesn't want to standout that way. But she will sing lead if Pau or Dany need a break.

Stable volume is supposed to equalize sound across all types of UA-cam videos. As you’ve noticed, it just has the tendency to make music videos too low in volume. One-size-fits all rarely is, right?
Ale usually sings lower, and she sounds a lot like Dani. When they sing at the same time I can't really hear her either, sometimes Dani stop singing and it sounds like she still is with Dani, but its Ale. She is always spot on with her pitch though :)
No te preocupes con ale, la escucharas más adelante tranquilamente ;) ella tiene una linda voz, suplanta a Dany en ciertas canciones cuando no se encuentra bien de la voz o por enfermedad. Pero normalmente siempre realiza las notas más graves

@@williamburkholder769 Thanks - I'll verify what my "least untrustworthy AI" answered (later), but this is probably 80% correct: The band The Warning performed their live debut of the track "SICK" on October 1, 2022, during their concert at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City, Mexico. This performance marked a significant moment for the band as they introduced this new song to their audience.
The original title was Gen Z, but Pau shortened it because she thought Gen Z sounded stupid😂 Sorry if someone else already mentioned this...my bad, I don't re-read the previous comments normally.
For some reason, Ale is usually hard to hear in the mix. (The mix at one of their recent shows - the one in Poland maybe - was a welcome exception.) At some of the festival shows, Pau has been mic’d too low, so her lead vocals aren’t as prominent as they should be. I’m guessing that that happens when the venue or festival uses their own sound crew.
Haha! Your not used to 3 minute Rock songs. Yeah they go by quick ... if they are written well! And so ... NEXT! BTW, I think they mixed any poor executed vocals low in post-production for this show. The three of them had just got over the flu, with Pau still being sick that day. They were gonna postpone, but they didn't. Pau went, got some meds, and they did it anyway. Ale sometimes doesn't sing well, so they may have mixed her lower on this one. Ale doesn't consider herself a good singer, and so doesn't prioritize it as much as she does her bass playing, which is always outstanding and near perfect.
Was a coment on another reaction that atleast in studio Ale ask for mic lower volume and one place they didnt and one could tell by her facial expression she felt embaressed. Not sure she ask it lower live but could be or they lowered it in the after mix for this
If you're impressed by their energy when performing you should check out this years Eurovision winner Nemo performing The Code (totally different genre, its pure pop) the moment I saw the performance I looked at my betting slip and went "I wont win a single one of these bets" and I didn't. Gen Z... here's your star for good behavior!!!!
🌟
Ale always does the chorus but her volume is always lower than that of the sisters, except for some other songs that turn it up a little.
Makes sense ^_^
welcome back ,Abi! 😍😘
Thanks!
beauty rocking
They are beautiful!
Z, short for zed. As in best band since Zed Leppelin!🤘🔥😁
🤘😊🤘
For some reason, Ale is usually hard to hear in the mix. (The mix at one of their recent shows - the one in Poland maybe - was a welcome exception.) At some of the festival shows, Pau has been mic’d too low, so her lead vocals aren’t as prominent as they should be. I’m guessing that that happens when the venue or festival uses their own sound crew.
It happens I suppose
Z is a real smack to the face live. All their songs sound better live, but damn!
Baddest gals in rock 🤘🔥
GEN Z
PRETTY OBVIOUS
YOU'RE RIGHT, THANKS A BUNCH!
Honestly Ale's mic is turned down in the mix quite often. I think she prefers it that way.
I think you're right!
Its ok that the songs are short sometimes. Just gotta play them twice! Haha
For some reason, Ale’s mic always seems too low in the mix, and she just doesn’t project her voice like Dany and Pau. 😎👍
True 👍
Was a coment on another reaction that atleast in studio Ale ask for mic lower volume and one place they didnt and one could tell by her facial expression she felt embaressed. Not sure she ask it lower live but could be or they lowered it in the after mix for this
Only positive things to say about The Warning's team EXCEPT they always mix Ale too low.🤷🏾♂🙂
Agreed!
Subbing since you are doing *The Warning!*
If you're impressed by their energy when performing you should check out this years Eurovision winner Nemo performing The Code (totally different genre, its pure pop) the moment I saw the performance I looked at my betting slip and went "I wont win a single one of these bets" and I didn't. I went downstairs and told a roommate "wanna see whats gunna cost me the last money I have left?"

And down the rabbit hole you go. Kinda nice down.
So you don't loose track... Lower right corner of the thumbnail has the number of the order in the concert.

A name of a song doesn't mean it needs to be said in the song.
