A little detour from Pepsi Center but they just covered Alanis Morissette's "You Oughta Know" for Sirius XM and the vibe is amazing. Ale kills the funky bass and Dany's vocals are awesome. Don-music has the best version on his channel. He remixed it and brought up the bass to give Ale the showcase she deserves.
You are going to absolutely love them live. Dany can get the crowd all fired up and she loves doing it. As you are describing Ale’s hair, I’m thinking eventually you’ll see some short behind the scenes videos with them goofing around and often Ale has a gigantic roller on top of her forehead if they have a show that day. One of their Patreon rewards is a birthday video and in mine this year Ale was wearing her big honking curler. No rockstar egos, they are so genuine and down to earth as they sell out a 10,000 seat arena.
Queens of the Rocker Scene TW....🤟😎🖤⚡♨️🇲🇽 They are everything is good in the Rock music, They are as if the soul and spirit of the greatest rock bands claim their place at the same time.
Yeah, you are going to go nuts when you see them live. I have traveled >25k miles to see them a dozen times over the past couple years. They put on an outstanding show. Never need disappointed. Part of what makes them special live is that while you can HEAR the music on video, you get to FEEL it live. It is amazing how much that impacts your experience.
"Z" reminds me of all those feelings as a 20-something of needing to let loose. It's almost just a celebratory piece as much as anything else; "Here we are and life is exciting, let's live!". The punk rock elements are the coup-de-grace on that feeling. It's kind of a ****-kicker of a beat and makes me want to thrash and maybe stage dive (oh my poor old knees!).
"Z" is about Gen Z's struggles-feeling lonely despite social media, mental health issues, and dealing with all the fake stuff online. It calls out how they’re pressured to fit in, but a lot of what they’re told isn’t even true. There’s a warning about blindly following trends or canceling people, and the chorus reminds them that it'll all catch up eventually. The ending’s basically saying they need to wake up and do something before it’s too late.
My first 'the warning' song, I see ppl react to this band all time, are they just overall awsome, what's ur favorite song? I'll deepdive and advocate if u sell me.
I like how British people seem to 1/2 the time make a show of not knowing how they're 'supposed' to say it in an international milieu. It's very British of them to make a 'second guessing' how they know it should be said. The post-imperial use of language is very interesting. And yes, I'm teasing all you Brits, but you do sometimes make a show of being British ;). Half my relatives are British.

Dany's antics during that solo! I can't get enough of that stuff.
One of my favorite TW songs in no small part because of Pau's drumming. But of course it's all fantastic and as you say -- full of energy.
