Nice. Whenever you will search for beatgenerals in UA-cam they now have fl studio tips showing you how you can make beats, mix beats, master beats, etc for anyone seeking additional help and also trying to progress.
Ironic I usually mix the elements I want louder first. Kick, bass, snares, hats etc. I already have it in my mind I want most other things lower. I will try your approach though it makes since how you explained it as well. I'm happy with my mix for the most part no fatigue bass, kicks felt and heard everything balanced after years of doing it. I'm trying to find how to consistently get all my tracks to average listening levels on par with commercal not too low or high...If you have any tips for A/Bing reference tracks or how to approach your own mastering presets or something else feel free to share. Subscribed the other day been watching some of your stuff good beats and tips bro.
Export it in wav to keep the sound quality, mp3 is compressed which lowers or hinders the sound quality. Wav is lossless and keeps the audio untouched because it's uncompressed.
those complaining that he didn't show gain staging and shit why don't you upload your own videos where you show how its done and leave a link instead of being dutch bags.....leveling of different sounds is very important as we see in this video
Word bet appreciate it. Your tutorials are the best I've experience!!! and funny at the same time lol!!! Your dope mane !! Keep it up!!! And u get straight to the point !!!

Bro gain staging is SOOOOOOOO FREAKING IMPORTANT!!! He probably doesn't know about it :(
You have no dynamics in that beat. You also didn't do any gain staging. N no that doesn't affect the dynamics.
Miguel Moncada so gain staging is differnt from leveling? Learned something new
The only thing he did do. was a lil gain staging
Beats sick as fuk already...

Sound Like A Slight Different Beat After The Mix...#100
why are you mixing at such high levels though?? you are not leaving headroom for the master??
Dwayze On Blaze man this video is so old i have done remakes of this video from where I learned a lot more check out my newer videos
Sounds like a beat complex would use on there intro..
Do you even know what is mastering?
You didn't mix or master anything. Very misleading title.
+Blue Nova leveling is the fundamentals of mixing
he was showing you how to prepare for your mix, so yes this is
part of mastering
