its not wrong to put compressors in Master channel ? cauze everytime when i make collabo they take them out.. but without that i cant make a powerfull beat . :S
Hi there, I followed your advice in this video, but my track still isn't loud enough for me. I set the levels low on all tracks as u said in the first video but I noticed your track is way louder when applied with the maximize. Should I change any settings in the compressor, EQ or maximize to get better results or should I increase my tracks volume. And thank you for these video, MAY GOD BLESS YOU

If I could just max the levels as loud as those trap songs then im good. also I noticed that before you mastered your song during your mixing stage your levels, even though reduced sounded still loud. so when you applied those mastering effects it sound loud as hell. Does FL have some sort of loud engine, I use studio one. thanks

I compared the RMS levels of his tracks compared to my productions following your guideline in this video and even though the RMS levels are the same, it appears his one is far more louder. If you have time import a track from his mix tape, look at the RMS levels then do the same with a song you've produced, and you'll find that though the RMS levels might be the same his one is way LOUDER, WHY !!!!!!! YO IF YOU CAN FIGURE THIS OUT THEN THIS WOULD SOLVE SO MANY PEOPLES PROBLEMS, HELP !!!!

HOWS THAT POSSIBLE. If you need to check this video of how to download soundcloud tracks as mp3 and you check the RMS levels and explain this to me !!!!
+Johnny Brown all explain. when mastering, a limiter is used to keep the incoming signal from clipping. we have a margin or ceiling, the point nothing gets above ( I suggest you do a ceiling of -1db because mp3 let's some peaks through). and we have the threshold/gain. the more you pull the threshold down the louder your track will be PERCEIVED. if you want it as loud as him then pull the threshold more down
