When was the last time Finebaum, the “expert”, right about anything?
He is an expert in getting ratings, while Dabo is an expert in motivating his team. This little back and forth helps both of them get what they want. It is a couple of days before conference championships and Dabo is in the spotlight more than any other coach. Do you think he is upset about that? I think he is probably going to buy Finebaum lunch.
Conveniently left out the part where Dabo said he “wouldn’t listen to criticism from people he wouldn’t seek advice from” and how he basically said finebaum gets paid to create drama

"Clemson doesn't play anybody." You know, I heard that last year, until they played Notre Dame. But when they beat Notre Dame 30-3, which about the same score as the Duke game was last year, then everyone was saying Notre Dame shouldn't have been in the playoff because they just weren't that good. See, the narrative is never that Clemson is that good, the narrative is that their opponents are that bad.

@@robertcherry7190 Bama objectively faces more talent in the SEC, particularly the SEC West, than any other conference because of how well the conference recruits. Team chemistry of course matters (it takes a team to win), but they actually face teams who have multiple top 300 recruits almost weekly. Clemson weekly faces ACC teams that recruit worse than Vandy.
I’m still waiting for Clemson to play an actual team for once. They’ve been playing church league and YMCA teams in scrimmages all season.

You attack the coach, not the team, that's why Dabo was not as mad towards Paul as he was towards Colin.
Paul will eat his words when Dabo goes back to Alabama to coach and still dominates. “It’s their schedule, It’s their schedule.” Just understand when you have the adaptability to go from a 4-8 team when Dabo starting as interim coach at Clemson to what he has made it to be. This is why there should be 8 teams in the playoffs! Teams like LSU have to play 5 or 6 ranked teams a year while Clemson’s biggest game every year is against Syracuse! C’mon man!! When Clemson gets to the playoffs they are healthier because they get to sit their players at halftime every game. Its not fair

Dabo made his comments to motivate his players, which would work best if the media responded to his comments. Paul Finebaum got punked by Dabo, just like Reese Davis did last year. When Dabo is surrounded by media pundits, he is always the smartest person in the room. Dabo did not get insulted, because the entire conversation that Paul Finebaum considered whining was Dabo using the media to motivate his players to feel they have something to prove. Dabo does this every single year at some point, and these idiots in the media just keep taking the bait. When Dabo made the ROY bus comment to Reece Davis, Reese was shaking his head because he knew he got punked. In this video, Paul is also just sort of shaking his head, because deep down, he knew he had also gotten punked.
