Säkkijärven polkka (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈsækːiˌjærʋen ˈpolkːɑ]; "the Säkkijärvi polka"), also called the "Karelian-Finnish Polka," is a well-known folk tune from Finland, very popular with Finnish accordionists. It was especially popularized by Viljo "Vili" Vesterinen (1907-1961). Who made Säkkijärven Polkka ?? Vesterinen .. Vesterinen studied piano and cello in Vyborg Music Institute, but as an accordionist he was self-taught. Vesterinen mainly played in different bands and theatres early in his career. Vesterinen made his first recordings in 1929. - The most popular recording of Vesterinen is Säkkijärven polkka in 1939.

Kauan on kärsitty koronan valtaa Suomen kansan vapautta suojellessa :D
En tunne korona rajoitteita jos torista puhutaan
Im convinced that no matter what language you put this song into or what instrument you play it on its impossible to make Säkkijärven Polkka bad
I can't stop playing this song....
It's beautiful
As a German I'm glad we helped the Fins Declare independence :) 🇩🇪❤️🇫🇮
But the Finns did it themselves.
@@unofficial_computer The whites received support from the German army
@@Bbbbbnc The Finnish army received token support from the German Empire. Hell, the British contributed more.
@@unofficial_computer doesn’t matter support is support
@@Bbbbbnc Yeah will it wasn't because of Germany.
Finnish independence was earned by the Finns.
Ein Hoch auf die Befreiung Finnlands! Ein Hoch auf die deutsch-finnische-Freundschaft

Ich liebe alle Deutschen, aus Finnland!
Why is it that when I tap translate to English that the German flag turns into a British flag?

Mannerheim would be proud of this
@Proudly From Finland He didnt like the nazi government you mean, his ancestors were German nobles.
Nah he was an anglophile
People say German sounds ugly and aggressive, but as a Finn to me it sounds normal, maybe even a bit peaceful.
honestly, I find tongue twisters in English hard enough, my mind can't even wrap around those fast verses to the end. Good on you!
For a english speaker german tongue twisters are essier than finnish ones.
Also, herzlich willkommen! 🇫🇮🇩🇪

Basically, sakkijarven polka but actually singable if you’re not a finn. Idk, German is just easier to pronounce (or maybe comprehend is the better word) even as an english speaker
