One of the biggest questions surrounding figure skating fans' mind right now is - Will Yuzuru Hanyu try 4A in World Team Trophy next week?! How close is he in landing it? Will anyone else come and challenge him at this stage? Whose name will go down in history tagged along 4A? What does landing 4A really mean to Hanyu? In this video, we explore all these questions together. Find out where to watch WTT here: www.isu.org/figure-skating/news/news-fsk/13515-where-to-watch-isu-world-team-trophy-2021?templateParam=15
@@caitlyns2714 Well there are great athletes and then there is Yuzuru Hanyu who has dedicated himself to skating. He has already injured himself many times and I am sure he is aware of the challenges he is taking. This is how he came a 2 time OGM and the only skater to have made Career Super Slam... unlike some skaters whose vision are only to win another medal. @@caitlyns2714 Now that you decided to reply in a nice way, let me share my ideas. I have big respect for Nathan, because he is pushing himself to learn new things, guitar etc.. which is great. But that is his life, his choices. I may be an idiot and say "Oh, he is retiring early because he is afraid that some new comer will challenge him and be will start losing. He is so selfish that he doesn't even want to improve further." Who gives me the right to talk like that? His choice, his career path, his approach to skating which I can only respect. Yuzuru is different. He is obsessed with skating. With lungs half the capacity of his rivals (he has asthma), with a weak stamina of many allergies he become one of the best skaters ever lived. There are composers, painters who lived exactly the way Hanyu does, they were only obsessed with their work. And they were perfectly happy with that. I can't live like this, but that's a commonality of many genius. They want to produce until their last breath. What's wrong with that? About passing the torch.... this is not a flag race. Some people compete with themselves, they are not satisfied. Yuzuru could retire after PyangCheong and thank God he didn't and became the only male skater to make Career SuperSlam and perhaps he will become the first skater to land 2 different quads for the time ever. This can only give inspiration to generations to come to push their limits. You may critise his dissatisfaction, but to me that's the only way to become what he has become. And this is why both Nathan and his coach Rafael have repeated many times that they are his fans. Because great minds think alike and understand each other. I personally think that there is not a big rivalry between those 2 guys. They are at different levels, have different styles and different goals in life. Most of the rivalry is pumped by the blood chasing media and bought by stupid fanatics .
Yes really. Can't imagine the G-force required to go into this jump. It's a beast! So excited and so super worried. After watching his training videos I really had nightmare.. Really hope he will try it only when he can stay safe 🙏
agree. don't even dare to make history if you're not pushing yourself. people say like it's to dangerous and everything to land 4A, but what else Yuzu cannot done? he wants to push boundaries, limits and making history. agree with you with this comment 👍
@@euniceaudian I mean, is 4A dangerous? Yes, but all quads are, it's a dangerous sport. Is it worth the risk for only 12.5 points? Probably not, but it doesn't matter. He broke record after record for years. Gold, silver, bronze, he already has it all. He could end his career now, but no, he still chooses to follow his passion and strives for more. That's amazing
@Yan Ma Lol.. Nope, it's equally as dangerous. But yes there are a lot of extreme sports which could make your jaw dropped and one mistake really could end their lives.. And yes Gymnastics and Snowboard Half-pipe belong to those sports 😂 Figure skating was not, but the current breed of amazing skaters are bringing Skating into this category.
He has the advantage of winning basically every major figure skating event in his career (many of them multiple times) so just like he said, he doesn't care at this point if he wins an Olympic medal or not, he just wants to land the 4A so all of his attention can go into practicing it unlike at the other skaters who go there with the goal of winning and have to focus on many other aspects. Honestly, if there is a skater who deserves to land it, it is Yuzuru. It would be a great achievement before his retirement and it would probably push more skaters into attempting it as well.
Yes that's a very interesting take. Because he has won all the titles, so pursuing the skills alone might be the motivation for him to keep going. He mentioned in the interview that - it's not about whether he wants to win or retire or anything like this, it's because he knows if he doesn't try it now while he still can, he will probably regret for the rest of his life. I got teary eyed for just reading that interview really..
I just hope the Japan Skating Federation doesn't try to punish him and is content with all of the medals he's brought home already. For such a powerhouse country for skaters, the conditions for training and even just learning there are.... not great. Funding for local rinks can be heavily dependent on the quality of skaters they are putting out (which is a bit backwards) and athletes are huge idols are representatives for their hometowns. If they don't think Yuzuru is serious about a medal, I wouldn't it put it past them to threaten the funding of his rink. 😾
@@BasilJunLi He does train there, but the JSF tends to fiscally reward rinks from their successful skaters' hometowns even if they train elsewhere. A lot of it is just cultural differences, I guess. In Japan, you don't really get a choice not to be hometown hero and celebrity if you are a major success in a popular field. You are also more or less supposed to be supportive and cheer on someone that it. I'm not sure if you are familiar with the AKB48 system, but there are some similarities there. It works especially well in Japan due to this fact. Even a talent or idol that is a Z list celebrity nationally can be surprisingly popular and relevant in their own town or city. In Sendai, Yuzu is just everywhere
I think that Yuzu really can do it. He is so close. Nathan needs to jump a bit higher. Also, 12 points is too low for an extremely difficult jump, it should be the double. Yuzuru has a very strong mind, with him: everything is possible.
Completely agree that 12 points is too low for a quad Axel! Yuzu has always said that he needs “the ultimate weapon” and they probably got afraid that he will become unbeatable with it. Anyway, I hope that Yuzu lands it first. It is his dream.
It should be at least 15 points. But what's the point of such high level determination? ISU is a disgrace for people like Yuzu. It actually should be dissolved , the way they wrong Yuzu over the years. They don't have the qualifications to judge someone like Yuzu.
Yeep...and Yuzu's weight is smaller then Nathan..and last World Championship showed that Yuzu looks more masculine then before. He made collosal job with his body.. and his 3th place doesn't speak anything. I do believe that He Will make it first.
When you are on top of the world, its not about winning competitions anymore, its about winning over yourself. Thats so well said. A 3rd gold at the olympics would be great, but i wholeheartedly understand him, its not his ultimate goal anymore. Im time and time again amazed at his determination.
Truly we feel the same - A 3rd gold at the olympics would be great, but landing 4A won't bring him that because of how screwed up those jump scoring is. I believe he had a lot of internal struggle in his mind - to pursue 3rd gold (which means train for 4F and consistency of 4Lz) or to pursue his pure innocent childhood dream - to land 4A. And it seems he finally finally come to this conclusion - follow his heart and chase his childhood dream..
Yuzu’s personality has always been obsessive - and throughout history you’ll find that all geniuses from different fields, all those with great achievements, have this sort of single mindedness: setting a goal and pursuing it, relentlessly, with little thought for anything else. This is what has made Yuzu the athlete he is, and it is what will help him land the 4A before he retires. He is no longer challenging an opponent, he is now challenging himself. Fly, Yuzu!
You have to remember that the 4A has not been the goal Yuzuru wanted to achieve. It has become the very goal for him to achieve after he got the second gold at the 2018 Olympic game. Last year, he got depressed and conflicted with the loss of confidence, but he re-discovered his love for the skating and that was the moment when he has determined that 4A is the only challenge he should take. He has been a challenger, as he likes to take any challenge. But he noticed that there was one thing he could not take, i.e..the unfair judging. That was when he realized that achieving 4A is the only remaining challenge he has to take and achieve. His commitment started when he was performing in 60 charity ice shows in the year after the Great East Japan Earthquake. By performing, he learned that he could give encouragement and hope to live to all the world. That was the source of his love for challenging. And he will do it as he is a person of words.
So well said! Yes, I believe he went through a lot of internal struggle in his mind during this whole time, whether to pursue 3rd gold (which means train for 4F and consistency of 4Lz) or to pursue his pure innocent childhood dream - to land 4A. And it seems he finally finally come to this conclusion - follow his heart and chase his childhood dream. Love this pure determination from him 💓
@@FigureSkatingFan Thank you!! I am very glad that you understand Yuzuru very well, much better than anyone in the ice world! Yes, the figure skating has become Yuzuru's life, especially because he has gone through so many unfortunate incidents, so many strugglings, so many painful experiences. After he has fallen into the conflicted emotion last year, losing even a confidence in his own ability to jump 3A, he is now committed his life to the figure skating, unbothered by numerical scores or the medals, with his renewed passion for the figure skating performance, which he knew would give the world his love, respect for the value of life, and his message of encouragement to the people.
@@harumih.3727It is so good to know that Yuzuru has made the decision of taking himself as parameter, his own base value to take off from, finally releasing himself from things of the ice world, like institutions, numbers, judges etc. He has already proved his technical quality, his unique artistry, his personal virtues. Thousands of people attest it all around the world and this is the very true, unquestionable judgement. For me, nothing can even touch Yuzuru's image anymore. He is far beyond. As a figure skater, he already achieved the level of the archetypes. I do wish, with all my heart, he is secure of his decision, calm inside and enters the rink deeply connected only with the aim of his soul. Cheering for Yuzuru from Brazil. 🇧🇷
I think Hanyu is landing a 4A, but not stable. As he said, he needs to rest more so that the body is rested and is ready to land the 4A stably. When it comes to landing in a team competition, it's a little tricky. First of all, if Yuzuru is morally able to do this, and the second is the state of his body... I think that his health should be in the first place, but if Yuzuru wants, then we can only wish him good luck and strength, in order to land 4A. Yuzuru Hanyu will succeed, Fly Yuzu
Yes we believe that too.. Probably slightly under-rotated or he landed at the corner (q). But he wanna land it perfectly. So.. really really exciting time and just wish he stays rested and land it soon!! 💕💪
If he decided not to include it in WC2021 just 3 days before the event, it is exactly because of the reason you say. He knows that ISU judges will look for the tiniest error to unvalidate the 4A, so it has to be perrrfect. I also doubt that he will try it at WTT, but who knows? Maybe the ultimate goal is to land the 4A and a quint in the next 10 months and then to retire after the Olympics at a point where no-one has ever reached before
@Senem Gençer My personal take is that - he decided not to include it in WC2021 just 3 days before the event because WC2021 is very important, it determines the no. of Olympic spots for Team Japan. So he shouldn't use this event as a test event for his personal pursuit but for the country. But he must be very very close to landing it perfectly, else he wouldn't have the thought of including 4A all along really. Since WTT is a friendly event, he might try. But like you said, who knows right?! We just want to cheer for them all 😀💕
@@senemgencer71 he said previously he always land a new jump at ice shows or out of conpetition. As he had to rest 2 weeks for quaranyine, I don't expectcto see his 4A at WTT. But who knows?
It's so freaking amazing that Yuzuru believes he hasn't reached his body limits so far! He is a real fighter and figure skating fan. I hope he will do 4A first, he has all he needs: talent and great courage, I believe in him 💪🏼
i hope he will but... let's face it. It's not young anymore. Today the best skaters are younger and younger. In the future someone certainly will. But there are chances that Hanyu will reach the limits of his body before achieving one.
@@Nunelii Yes, you kinda have the point. But just have a little faith on him whether he'll be the first one to land it or not. Prior to what he said that 4A is his current goals and as i recall that he's a really talented and dedicated athlete. I believe that he knows what best for him along all of our supports. What matters is him being safe and healthy. Wishing him luck👏🏻
Well, this is why Hanyu is the king of Figure skating because he never stop challenging himself even when he already won everything and being mistreated by ISU. It's sad and so wrong that ISU and their judges don't agree with it. They downgraded the BV of 4A hugely and kept scoring him in different standard. When one of the best and most competitive skater said he doesn't care about the Olympic gold anymore, you know something is wrong with this sport. Anyway, I hope he can land it safely and healthily. He deserved to land it and be marked in history. FS world is luck to have him. We are blessed that he still stay to give us motivation, hope and light. As he said himself he wants to be the light to other people. All the best luck Mr. Hanyu!
Уважаю всех фигуристов - это огромный труд! Всем желаю удачи и пусть победит сильнейший! А Юдзуру Ханю - особенный фигурист, пусть исполнится его мечта прыгнуть 4А с чистым выездом!
Thank you for this wonderful video ! Axel is a soul jump for Yuzuru as he himself said 3 Axel was the first jump to land after the earthquake. I think the 4 Axel illustrates his destiny as a figure skater. First, he increases the speed to do the take off, then jumps into the air, reaching the top, makes the first rotation. Next it's the hardest part where he has to maintain himself in the air while making another 3 rotations and a half. After done that, prepares the exit for the landing. And he stands the landing. Four revolutions and a half in the air - as beautiful as hard - like Yuzuru's journey as a figure skater, with hardships and watershed moments eventually overcome thanks to a strong belief. Yuzuru will land Quad Axel because he is a professional. Good luck, Yuzuru !
For me, don't even dare to make history if you're not pushing yourself. So that's why I support Yuzu with his dream to land 4a. people say like it's to dangerous and everything to land 4A, but what else Yuzu cannot do? he wants to push boundaries, limits and making history. we as his supporters need to support his goal👍
He is a superhuman no doubt. Having asthma and being what he is... Impossible! He is the GOAT and superhuman right now, without landing 4A🤷🏻♀️ But after landing it... Damn
I really believe he will land it, I just can’t wait to see it ... I think all figure skating fans who know how hard he has been training will cry the moment he lands it 😭
If Hanyu lands the 4A successfully, he will be the only skater in history to have landed two different types of quadruple jumps first ever. And I bet that would be just the step before attempting a quintuple jump and become the only skater in history to have landed 3 different types of jumps. The man is insane. I am only amazed by his passion for this sport at an age when most atheletes retire. I don't know if he will succeed, but his dedication and motivation are so inspirational for me. He is the Elon Musk of skating: he is leading a way which noone has ever dared before, others are only following his crumbs.
Wow glad to find this comment! Yes yes yes! Honestly to me personally I always think of Yuzu like Elon Musk, and Nathan like Jeff Bezos. When I edited this video, I even wanted to draw parallel of Yuzu attempting 4A as a craft vs Nathan attempting 4A as some spontaneous act with the way Elon Musk pursuing the space with SpaceX vs Jeff Bezos with Blue Origin. But was afraid it might be off topic too much so decided to to abort the idea. So when I see this comment, it felt great like someone thinking along the same line!! 😀💕
@@talachastu816 No, we are talking about quadruple Axel which hasn't been landed by any human yet. Wish you were right, wish a woman has achieved this before anyone
@@senemgencer71 You forgot what you were talking about: "the only skater in history to have landed two different types of quadruple jumps first ever" "the only skater in history to have landed 3 different types of jumps"
I've spent a few days watching Yuzuru, and some others, on many videos. Right now I'd say this is my most favorite video. It gives a lot of information, tells a real story. And I raised my family in Aspen over the last 43 years, so I find snowboarding interesting as well. Congratulations to all of you competitors and winners!
I don’t think he’ll try it at WTT, he said he needs to rest well and it’s been only two weeks since the worlds. And he spent some of this time in quarantine. I even think he may water down his other elements bc honestly WTT is the most unnecessary competition ever. I’m surprized it’s not cancelled tbh. Also from his interviews it sounds like he was able to land it at least a few times but it lacked rotation so he doesn’t consider it complete yet. He wants to include it in the program without sacrificing other quads and quality of his skating. I don’t know if he’ll ever be able to achieve it but I believe in him. If there is someone who deserves this it’s definitely him.
The thing is is that hes not just trying this on nothing, hes done the research. He wrote a thesis on it, he knows the biomechanics, the ins and outs of it, he knows exactly what it takes, its just getting there. I think he can do it, its just going to be a matter of if he can do it before some with just some luck in hand can.
YES! When we saw the interview of him saying "Yuzuru Hanyu is certainly making progression" --> We were like "YES! It's all shown in that 3A in the GALA" 😀😀💕
God I love this video, you collected almost every detail about A4 and Yuzuru's interviews. I am kinda scared for Yuzu doing this jump cause he could easily injure himself for life, but I am very glad that he thinks that he still has potential and motivation. WTT is next week, I kinda fing this competion unnecessesery in the pandemic, especially how some federations handle the situation. But i am also excited to see the the skaters again before off-season.
Thank you so much! Yup did a thorough search on everything we can find about 4A to make this video and it's super exciting. Yet we are worried and scared. 4A is something like the more u understand about it, the more incredible and unbelievable you will feel. It's like - Can human really achieve this??! It's probably even harder than 5T! They rely only on their leg muscle to generate the speed and force for this jump! That's really crazy. Really hope Yuzu stays safe while trying this 🙏😫🙏😫🙏💕
Yuzuru mentioned the difference betwee 3A and 4A, at the online interview with Japanese sports media on March 28. He also said that his progress in the 4A has been to the final phase, with 7/8 of the quad rotation, remaining only 1/8. He said that he will be able to achieve the real perfect "Yuzuru Hanyu" as a figure skater and a perfect program of his own, when he is able to achieve "Perfect 4A"
As much as we love to see Yuzuru continues on and on, but really, not sure if retiring is better or not for his body. Just wish he stays healthy and happy 💕
This awesome video got me thinking of two things. 1. Yup, whoever lands a 4A should get that gold. Period. It doesn't just have to be Yuzuru, anyone who succeeds at doing it should get that gold. It's my humble opinion that if it is truly possible to do a quint, the value of a quad axel should be equivalent to that. One can still balance artistry in a program while landing this jump. The complexity of an axel jump in and of itself already justifies the reason why it should be given more points. It's an outrage that the ISU downgraded the base value of a 4A. They just proved that they fear their favorite won't win. Such an atrocity to the sport. 2. I get the feeling that Heaven and Earth would be Yuzu's last long program. As he said, he presented the complete quad axel-less form of heaven and earth at Japan Nationals. He kind of gave the vide that Heaven and Earth is his farewell program. It would be fitting if it is. From the title to the music itself. Plus the choreography and the jumps he chose to include. To me, it's like Yuzu has chosen the jumps closest to his heart and laid them out in a way to express the journey he went through to take his skating to a whole different level. The music he chose has a Koto instrument. Koto are shaped in the image of a dragon. Dragons are known to connect heaven and earth. I've read that one interpretation of a moment when heaven and earth connects is that a journey/story/phenomenon comes to an end and brings forth a new beginning. This hint is making me feel all sorts of emotions. When he performs heaven and earth in all of its quad axel glory, I know that I will be extremely happy to see him achieve his lifelong dream. But at the same time, I feel sad because I will miss Yuzu greatly when he retires from competitive skating. I want to thank him for the hint though. At least I have the time to mentally and emotionally prepare myself so that when the time comes for his retirement, I can bid him good bye with a warm and light smile and a heart full of content and happiness.
@@FigureSkatingFan I assure you, I got teary eyed myself when I realized his hint. A taylor swift song came to mind. Good thing I read the signs or I would have exiled myself for not realizing it sooner. Also, I feel like the 4A is his dragon. The thing that will connect his earth to his heaven. And what a glorious dragon it is. It's the most fitting dragon that will conclude his competitive career and usher in a new beginning for Yuzu.
@@jomitre6512 And mankind shall rejoice for having witnessed it. Thank you. Yuzu is truly a remarkable person. He can make people poetic just by sharing his aspirations, dreams, and goals. ❤️
I understand how dangerous it is, but I believe in him. It’s a hard jump, but I think it’s possible and maybe if not his previous injury, he would already land it. It’s his dream and I fully support him. Maybe I would love to see him getting another Olympic medal, but If it’s not his goal - that’s okay. I think he still will do his best if he goes to Olympics.
At this point, winning all the possible gold in the competition, having the Super Grand Slam in his hands. It's understandable why he wants to achieve 4A... The Legend once again becoming the Legend of all Legends. Did I make sense? 😂 But seriously, Yuzuru proved enough. He just wants to step up the game, achieving beyond the limits as he always does. I'M VERY PROUD OF HIM!
Now if Yuzuru lands a 4A in competition at the Olympics THAT would be legendary. Of course I'm supportive of him and his jumps and I'm not pressuring him to have it done by the Olympics. Whenever he lands it, he lands it and that's what I hope he can achieve one day in the future
Tenta Yuzu porque você já ganhou tudo que era possível um patinador ganhar. Você fez história e é a história viva de uma patinação leve, técnica perfeita, artística e linda. #yuzu 🥰🤴🤴🤴
I'm excited and worried at the same time. I would love for him to land a 4A in competition, hopefully in the Olympics next year. If anyone can do this it would be Hanyu
To all the people who say "He shouldn't try to do a 4A, he can injure himself, he isn't young anymore".... Who the fuck cares, it's his life, if he has the resolve to try it at all costs, while keeping in mind the risks, why should people try to stop him?. The dude has already won everything, and still has some years left. He has nothing to lose. I 100% think the regret of not trying it would be worse than getting injured, and become unable to keep skating. That's the only thing he has to acomplish. Even if he becomes unable to compete, iit¿s not like his career in figure skating would end. You can always become a coach, judge, or whatever.
The way he talks about it, it feels like he has it, just not perfectly perhaps, but idk, I’m new to the figure skating world. I really wish for Yuzuru to land the 4A, he seems to be the nicest person and a phenomenal skater. Btw, I love that your outdo is a Neoni song, I thought I was the only one listening to them 😂
Waaahhh. Heaven and Earth would be the perfect program to land the 4A. The theme and message of the program is the culmination of how the jump was perfected. It's honestly hard to watch Yuzu mess jumps during the competition but seeing how he was from Worlds 21, even my own perspective has changed. I'm excited to see him perfect it and it's very soon.
4A is now his ultimate goal, to win a third olympics would only be cherry on the cake but that's not his main purpose in participating to the BEIJING 2022 OLYMPICS. SO...go go boy
If anyone who deserves to land 4A, it's Yuzu. He challenged that jump since 2015 up until now, even said he tried it a Thousand times. No one 💀 I mean no other brave soul could beat that how many times he failed but gets back up!
A 3A is difficult by itself but 4A is like holy shit. I go 10 km jogging and I'm dying and here you have to do 4.5 f***ing revolutions in the air and manage not to fall by landing. But if anyone can land It, then The King Yuzuru. I think not at the team event but definitely Olympics. Basically he can only land his 4A and go and the people around the world would be cheering him. He's already the 🐐, there's no need to challenge others or prove the point, the only thing he challenges is his physical limit. I hope he will stay healthy on his journey to the 4A.
Yes what you said makes sense. But just another perspectives, because WTT is not a serious competition, so he might use it to try. And he is known for the mental image training (like the way he trains for his quads off ice before Olympic 2018 when he was injured). But who knows...
Well, Yuzu proved it's possible and Ilya Malinin has landed it in programs, so any debate is over. When we look at Trusova's exercises for speed of rotation we saw the future.

@@o0Nekolove0o Basándome en datos hay una enorme probabilidad de que él lo logré con éxito, tiene el 3axel uff enorme.
4A... I feel excited and worried at the same time.
Yes really. Can't imagine the G-force required to go into this jump. It's a beast! So excited and so super worried. After watching his training videos I really had nightmare.. Really hope he will try it only when he can stay safe 🙏
We all are. And I was at GPF19 when he tried it. Seeing it live is even more impressive. I just gasped.
@@FigureSkatingFan The landing scares me more >_
I’m simple, if 4A is what Yuzuru wants then I support it. No one made history by playing it safe 🐐
agree. don't even dare to make history if you're not pushing yourself. people say like it's to dangerous and everything to land 4A, but what else Yuzu cannot done? he wants to push boundaries, limits and making history. agree with you with this comment 👍
Compare to the other two Japanese Olympic athletes, I suddenly feel that figure skating is not that dangerous.
THIS! it's also the answer to those asking "why Trusova wants million quads in her program instead of making an easier and more safe routine?".
@@FigureSkatingFan me too😭
I just hope the Japan Skating Federation doesn't try to punish him and is content with all of the medals he's brought home already. 😾
@@killbethy Im not 100 percent certain but hasnt yuzuru been training in canada for a while now with brian?
If anyone deserves to land it, it is Yuzuru Hanyu
what do you mean by "deserve"
@@vukmidorovic6328 right
I think that Yuzu really can do it.
He is so close.
Nathan needs to jump a bit higher.
Also, 12 points is too low for an extremely difficult jump, it should be the double.
Yuzuru has a very strong mind, with him: everything is possible.
ISU knew yuzu is the one who want to land it first, so they're be like "let's make it only 12 points because yuzu is going to land it". 😂
Completely agree that 12 points is too low for a quad Axel! Yuzu has always said that he needs “the ultimate weapon” and they probably got afraid that he will become unbeatable with it. Anyway, I hope that Yuzu lands it first. It is his dream.
ISU is shameless
Fly, Yuzu!
Great comparison!! Fly, Yuzu! 🙌💪💓
I agree with you.FLY, YUZU!
May the gods keep yuzuru safe. May the gods make his dream come true.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Yes! Safety first. Then may his dream come true 🙏🙏💓💓💗
For me, nothing can
even touch Yuzuru's image anymore.
@@FigureSkatingFan I hope that he will overcome all difficulties and will do it.
😊🙃

What matters is him being safe and healthy. Wishing him luck👏🏻
And today Yuzuru had certified 4A for the first time ever...he made history
Well, this is why Hanyu is the king of Figure skating because he never stop challenging himself even when he already won everything and being mistreated by ISU. It's sad and so wrong that ISU and their judges don't agree with it. They downgraded the BV of 4A hugely and kept scoring him in different standard. When one of the best and most competitive skater said he doesn't care about the Olympic gold anymore, you know something is wrong with this sport. Anyway, I hope he can land it safely and healthily.

Yes what you said makes sense. But just another perspectives, because WTT is not a serious competition, so he might use it to try. But who knows..

@@FigureSkatingFan I will do it🤩👍
This awesome video got me thinking of two things.
I got teary eyed reading your comment and analysis on his Heaven and Earth part. How is it possible?! Love your writing so much!!!!
@@FigureSkatingFan I assure you, I got teary eyed myself when I realized his hint. A taylor swift song came to mind. Good thing I read the signs or I would have exiled myself for not realizing it sooner.

Да пребудет с ним вся сила..
The way he talks about it, it feels like he has it, just not perfectly perhaps, but idk, I’m new to the figure skating world. I really wish for Yuzuru to land the 4A, he seems to be the nicest person and a phenomenal skater. Btw, I love that your outdo is a Neoni song, I thought I was the only one listening to them 😂
Yes we believe he has it, just not as perfect like u said. OMG yes we are fans of these NCS artists. Neoni and Rival are some of our favorite. 😀😀💕💕🙌
Ох Юзу.. нервы уже на пределе 🤯
Waaahhh. Heaven and Earth would be the perfect program to land the 4A. The theme and message of the program is the culmination of how the jump was perfected. It's honestly hard to watch Yuzu mess jumps during the competition but seeing how he was from Worlds 21, even my own perspective has changed. I'm excited to see him perfect it and it's very soon.
getting 3rd olympic title or landing 4A, either way he's making history. he chose the latter, i'm going to fully support his decision. go yuzu!!
Yes 🙌 No matter which path he chooses, we will support him always!! ❤️❤️
4A is now his ultimate goal, to win a third olympics would only be cherry on the cake but that's not his main purpose in participating to the BEIJING 2022 OLYMPICS. SO...go go boy
Go Yuzu!!! We want to document his journey all the way! And why he conquer that 4A one day.. I can't imagine what kind of emotion we will all have..
If Yuzuru lands 4A at next Olympics that will be Mind Blowing
Your dream of 4A is our dream too!
You can do it!!
We believe you.
ゆづくんならきっとできる。頑張って!!!!!
I don't think he'll attempt it at WTT because he wasn't really able to practice it after Worlds because he's still in quarantine
Yes what you said makes sense. But just another perspectives, because WTT is not a serious competition, so he might use it to try. And he is known for the mental image training (like the way he trains for his quads off ice before Olympic 2018 when he was injured). But who knows...
Ey! This was way more interesting than I expected, well researched and complete, so thanks :D
Glad to hear!
I wish him the best of luck!
羽生選手が発する言葉は自惚れや嫌味ではなく、実際上手くなってるのだろうと素直に思える。
演技もコメントも素晴らしい。💖💖💖
Here I am crying thinking about him landing one especially since it means so much to him.We love you no matter and wish all the best for you.
Well, Yuzu proved it's possible and Ilya Malinin has landed it in programs, so any debate is over.
When we look at Trusova's exercises for speed of rotation we saw the future.
Me refiero a Yuma Kagiyama y Shun Sato.
Romaaann...we miss his skating....
I can’t wait to see him at WTT!
We will see him next week at WTT!! Can't wait 😀💕
What's the wtt and when is it going to start?

Thank you so much for the encouragement!
GOOSEBUMPS!!!GOOSEBUMPS!!!GOOSEBUMPS!!!I'M SPEECHLESS.😳👏👏GANBATTE YUZURU HANYU!!🙏❤️
Thank you So much for your work
This video looks fantastatic with the mix of japonese olympic medal winners in other disciplines requiring great sportive skills needed by Yuzuru himself.
Another one coming up in 3 hours! Stay tuned
Yuzuru is a fascinating enigma, yes. But can we please appreciate that Alexandra Trusova is the first woman to land a Quad Flip, Lutz and Toeloop?! THAT'S INSANE AND INCREDIBLY IMPRESSIVE! Especially considering she has a tendency to over-rotate her quads :O
can we please appreciate that Alexandra Trusova is the first woman to land a Quad Flip, Lutz and Toeloop?! --> THIS 👆💪 Sasha is a warrior!!
HE LANDED IT DURING PRACTICE ON DEC 23!!!!
Желаю Ю. Ханю осуществить свою мечту с этим прыжком!!!
