Using the hawkbill like a karambit in the reverse grip as a secondary in tandem with your preferred knife as a primary and you can be quite formidable. I train to use two knives because I have two hands!
"Point of origin" comes to my mind from your reply. If you have 2 knives, one on each side then whichever hand is available and near that knife makes it more convenient to access that knife. The Sinawali drills from Escrima are good coordination drills to train both hands whether you have knives in those hands or if you have nothing in your hands. I practice Sinawali drills daily with appropriate footwork and it's a great workout and helps my 65 year old body feel good...:)
I love this knife, I've bought several over the years. Im a painter and I'm always needing a knife. I've even customized mine a bit. I've switch the clip around to the other end, if you take a look at it all you need is a small Phillips head to do it. I've also dyed the handle black on three of them. The Rut all purpose dye works great. Just rig up a little caldron or pot and bring the dye to a full boil, pull it off the stove and give it 3-4 minutes then drop the whole knife in there for as long as you want. The black dye works the best but I've also used blue and green with "interesting" results. I couldn't recommend this knife enough. Seems like every time I walk by one I pick one up. I give them out to my boys and other young men as a great pocket knife and they all love it. It's just a great all around knife like you said. For the price, nothing is comparable. Great video, love the channel brother. ✌️
Hey bro, just wanted to say thanks. I came across your Milwaukee duct knive video and ever since then I became a knife collector. I’ve always had a couple knives but nothing interesting. I’m a carpenter and my edc was just a husky sheet rock blade. Now I have about 10 knives I’ve collected. Thank you👍🏽
Keep up the good work! Ur channel is perfect. I bought a case tribal lock as a new one . u should review them. u will be surprised.pan fish to bull moose. And everything in between!god bless bro.
I love hawk bill blades very handy for work of all kinds and if need be self defense as I train with a Byrd Crossbill knife . Just my opinion on hawkbill blade types the amount of damage done to a target is horrible I feel maybe worse than a warren cliff just my opinion on it though.
Finally you see the truth millwakee knifes are the best ever and just so you know the fast back is actually a Gerber knife from back in the day and millakee has the patten
@@411Outdoors i have used them every day for years at work and off work . Not fond of liner lock but if you get the ones with the linner and bar lock its super solid lock up and safety. Having the utility knife with bit driver it saves the other blades . I have cut through all kinds of materials. Just buy a 50 pack despenser and go to town . And to be honestest if you have ever been in a knife fight a utility knife cuts extremely well . Way better than a traditional knife bevel. I have been in an event if you have in ig i will dm the details . Its definitely not regular media friendly I have patched up 100s of wounds through the years as well .

Thanks so much!
I bought this knife for my 12 year old grandson's as a first knife because of the shape. I'm always with him and am teaching him knife safety.
I use this knife at work, and I love it. Snaps open smoothly and weighs almost nothing. Great video!
I like it and I'm a big folding knife fan been using them for decades for that purpose. I will look for this one.
I like the hawkbill shape. Very useful.
You bring up good points.Thank you .
