Randomly, the first ‘mystery’s quest is likely also a nod to the poem “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening” by Robert Frost, given the horse’s name and the fact that the quest name can be found in the last stanza: “The woods or lovely, dark and deep, but I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep, and miles to go before I sleep.”
Yes I think that happens sometimes bc of miscommunications and plans changing. Originally there was actually a dialogue option where Hemming referred to Ingun and Sibbi as his children, but also several others where he referred to Maven as "mother". But the former was eventually removed from the game, and the character model they chose for him seems way too young for him to be Mr. Black-Briar. Hence, in my opinion it's pretty clear that what's correct here is that Hemming is Maven's son and Ingun and Sibbi's brother. Thank you for watching 😃
@@TheBlackRose3 I do hate Maven and do what I can to disrupt her family. Once you finish with Frost and Lynly, he goes from not being able to be killed to being vulnerable. I don’t think that is from mods and assassinate him in his cell. The Black Sacrament in the basement of the Blackbriar Riften home has a message that implies that you are her target. This spoils me from wanting to follow the Thieves Guild as it implies you are a minion to her. I make Ingun a love interest as well. Just how I role play. I know that others view the Black Sacrament differently, but that is my take on it. I have trashed their manor house when getting Frost with Lynly at my side.
@@michaeltelson9798 after i complete all associated quests with the TG and Maven, i change my identity (via the appearance changing wood elf lady in the Ratway) and slaughter them all. people will say "nooo, dont do that, it will break your game 🤓" but if you complete all their quests it will be fine.
so my little theory for the masks. we know dragur are kept in crypts who's locks are... subpar at best. spin a dial here switch this from a snake to a dragon and put the claw in ect. my first theory is 1 the puzzles arent there to keep things out. its there to keep everything in and as the last dragon born we are slowly going and opening all of them. either killing them all or slowly letting more and more dragur out into skyrim. now onto part two. the masks just like the claws are meant to hide and seal away the last mask. mind you this is a puzzle that ONLY the dragon born was supposed to be able to solve. i dont remember exactly where i read it but i remember reading the masks ended up corrupting the dragon priests worst then they already where so i am thinking what is that mask was the worse. maybe they tried to give it to a different preist they had to put down and shalidor knew only the dragon born would be able to wear and use it without destroying everything
If she didnt care that he got frost back to Lillith, Wouldnt the goons have been instructed to wait until after he dropped the horse off bs right after he gets the horse
I have a mystery for ya: why does Heimskr have skulls in his house? I propose he's a serial killer. You'd think he's just handling remains in a holy fashion, but no, Whiterun has Andurs for that. My second thought was "they're the skulls of Thalmor agents who came after him" but a few issues with that. Nobody mentions it (that'd be big news, and if they attacked him in secret, he would've boasted about it in his speeches), the skulls appear human (though Bugthe$da just never bothered to make xeno skulls), and there's no elven/Thalmor items in his possession. Furthermore I don't think Heimskr COULD fend off assassins, dude's pretty weak.
I think Luie is Maven's ex, but maybe only the father to some of her children, i find it odd that Sibbi doesn't refer to him as his dad if he doesn't hate him, also he definitely looks older than Maven 😂 he is missing quite a bit of hair and Maven only has a few wrinkles lol
I'm a bit sceptical about Louis Letrush to be their dad. He is breton but maven and her children are all Nords, but then again how does race matter in breeding right? If breton and a Redguard breeds what is the race of the kid? That could be a cool video! 🤔
So the best source there is for how exactly it works is "Notes on Racial Phylogeny" by Ted Peterson. Its main premise is that most of the time the child will inherit the mother's race, but there are exceptions. Really the book's main purpose is to create a lore friendly reason for Bethesda not accounting for mixed races when making characters. It also clarifies which races can breed with each other. If I recall correctly all men and mer can breed with each other, but beastfolk can only breed with their own race. As in Argonians can only breed with other Argonians and likewise Khajiit only with other Khajiit.
Not half and half, they have elven ancestry. The Bretons are the product of some of the Nedic peoples interbreeding with Aldmer before recorded history.
I don't think you can really describe Holmes and Moriarty as "friendly rivals" lol
Depends on the incarnation.
I’ve been playing this game since its release to the point that I’ve got a thieves guild symbol tattooed behind my ear and I’m still surprised by it.

Hemming Blackbriar is called Maven’s husband and Maven’s son. The later is probably correct, but the entries are confusing.
Knowing maven he’s probably both

Maven is Marriageable so she's definitely currently single.

Hmm interesting
The first theory you stated is actually confirmed already in game.
Great vid and I’m always happy to find a new small creator! Keep it up buddy you got this.
Ofc! Love the content bro, keep it up!!!
Louis letrush has haunted me since my first play though when he cloned himself from 2 to 4 times at the white run stables
Though the content is interesting but it's delivery is something more to desire
Great Video. I am really enjoying your take on these mysteries.
Personally, I think you'll find what's left of Maven's husband behind a master-locked door in the basement of Black-briar Manor in Riften. 😉😄
Letrush probably gave her that horse as an anniversary present. Probably only Sibbi is Letrush’s son.
If she didnt care that he got frost back to Lillith, Wouldnt the goons have been instructed to wait until after he dropped the horse off bs right after he gets the horse
Awesome vid we need to see your full length vid on the last dragonborn and shalidor and all implications 🎉
Thank you! Can't wait to put it all together.
Yesss bout time. Missed you bro

I feel like whiterun is more than inspired by edoras from the movies it comes almost to copyright 😂😂😂
Love ur vids

@@TheBlackRose3 cool! Will check it out, if that's the case this theory isn't that far'fetched. 😬
But is a Breton half-human and half - elf.
