The big question when riding in colder climates is Heated Grips VS Heated Gloves? These two are so common in the riding community and there are just tons of different brands that make their own versions of these very essential winter riding accessories.
Its obvious that all motorcycle handlebars need grips..but upgrading your stock ones to have the amazing feature of heating up while you ride can be extremely helpful if you get suddenly hit with a cold breeze that starts to freeze up your hands in the middle of a ride. I think we've all been there!
While they are wildly popular amongst riders...they do have their draw backs I think personally.
Moving on to heated gloves. These are also just so extremely helpful. We all should be wearing gloves to protect our skin and bones, but having ones that keep your hands safe and have the added bonus of heating while you ride are such a Godsend. Heated gloves are the only way I've survived riding in the middle of winter when wind blasts are so strong they send chills to your core. Like the grips though they do have their draw backs and I really think it's important for you guys to hear those out always.
I hope this video provides some quick but thorough insight on these two popular accessories that are made to make winter riding a little less brutal!

Whatever you choose, add a set of wind deflectors. They are cheap and easy to install. Since I’ve installed heated grips, i barely use my heated gloves. My hands are also behind a fairing.

I got headed gloves, the cuff will not pull over my leather jacket though! Gonna have to use my textile jacket with "sinch-able" cuffs. Great vid!

Nice lava I’m currently riding a 2021 cvo tri glide and it has heated handgrips and you don’t need any gloves at all in the dead of winter! It’s crazy! With gloves my hands got cold so I removed the gloves and wala! Toasty hands! I’m thinking about getting heated handgrips for the road king but depending on the cost. Excellent choice of review considering our current weather changes. ✊🔥❤️❤️❤️👍💯

Definitely grips over gloves. I have a 16 CVO pro street breakout with heated grips and I’ll take that any day of the week over the gloves

I think the BEST would be wireless heated gloves powered by bike's battery ....does anyone make such? I envision the motorcycle would simply have powered not heated coils in the grips and the heated gloves would be powered inductively by said coils. I suppose the gloves might need their own small battery? Then the coil would wirelessly keep them charged? idk just inductive heaters powered by the field generated in the coil That seems like the best of all worlds as they would never drain down all the way so long as you are riding yet unlike heated grips it would heat the entire hand not just the palms Of course the BAD thing would be really expensive gloves if quality protection meaning you woud have summer and winter gloves. Question is does anyone make such?

Been hearing about rechargeable heated gloves a lot. How much would a pair of these set me back?

The good ones are normally priced between $150-$200. I just added the link to the ones I use in the description 👍🏼👍🏼
