I watched your video about 12 months ago for this review as I had these gloves in mind and was searching feedback. Looks like I didn’t hit the like button last year , so I did it now and subbed to your channel. 🇦🇺 👊 Good gloves, got a pair last year my model is HG3 EVO. Good gloves. I am looking to get the charging kit which last year apparently wasn’t for sale in Australia yet. Looking for it now. That way you’ll never run out of power and long rides I can just remove the batteries completely perhaps.
Bought a pair after this review. One of the batteries failed after day two. Was told by the store not to ‘over-charge’ the battery. Followed the instructions so not sure how I could overcharge the battery. Hope this isn’t a sign of things to come. When they work they are warm and effective. Great on a morning commute. Will need spare batteries for longer rides.
thanks for that review, ive just bought a pair of HG3s myself today , they are just charging up and I am in Tassie, cant wait to try them out on my Interceptor :)
Hi, they're still performing well. Didn't use them for quite a bit and had the batteries sit without charge for quite a while. New batteries and they're fine. I guess that can be expected. Cheers.
Mmm, I would like to try them in a minus 5 degree UK winter,,oh hang on I don't ride in the winter, very good review as usual Greg well done, what you are doing here is very difficult.
Great review. Nicely delivered, though be aware that in this video you have repeated yourself with most of the key points. More careful editing. You didn't let us know what the gloves were like on the lower settings - the kind of info that I would like to have. Also, for longer rides, are spare batteries available? I'm looking forward to more reviews. Thanks. As an added thought, I have so much fun on my bikes and really get into them physically, I often don't notice the cold appendages. I live in the Northern Tablelands of NSW and I'm an old bugger. Who rides a bike to be comfortable?
I just got the hg1 evo glvoes. The charger goes green, and gloves turn on and lonk roght away. It's still 3c here and they turn off on their own after a minute or two. These turn off after a certain temperature?
Hi Mikey. Yep I found them to be really good. Tops and tips were fine. I recently rode all through Tasmania and it was freezing. At the time I only had heated grips and yes the tops and tips were cold! Wish I had these gloves then!
I'll have to admit I was never in the rain that long. Having said that I do have another pair of five winter gloves and I rode for hours in the rain in Tasmania and they were perfectly dry. I was amazed! Cheers

Any update?
Great review. Should be perfect for my short commute in Canberra. Cheers!

tazzzxcsd Excellent. They would be great in Tasmania! Hope you enjoy them 👍😄
Nice review. So, what are these gloves like since you did the review ? Would you still recommend them ?

Thanks for your review.
Where in Australia do you live? I enjoyed looking at the countryside as you rode.

Appreciate the review. Just bought a pair. 👍
Great review. Thank you 👍
Thanks for the tip re prioritising the length over width when choosing a size. How are you finding them a year later? Any issues? Cheers
Where were you riding?
Great advice.
That Trumpy must have been cold took a while to fire.
Another good review.

Hey Max, Yep I didn't think the old girl was going to start for a while there!
Probably due for a new battery

Hey, man! What about riding in the rain for about 1-1,5 hour? Do they stay dry?

@@1clickin129 Thanks! How about fingers heating? Especially index and middle finger staying on cold brake lever?
@@sergio_x2487 fingers stayed nice and warm!
Should i size up or down?
Probably up!
So they are not double cuffed, sad the rain will get in.
My right ear is sad.
