Another excellent comparison review. Thanks for the time and effort of uploading this. Skyward X costs so much in Australia. $370. If I am spending that much I'd probably go the Superblast 2 for $320 because I think it will be more versatile and durable. Still hurts the wallet.
@@jackjill2010 Thanks for watching! I’ve been hearing great things about the Superblast 2.
Hey Captain wazzup? … great shoe off again … I ve 2 pairs of Superblast … the OG one have now +600kms and they are still great … I think that they are really versatile … I can use them for everything except maybe fast intervals ( too smooth lol) … got the PrimeX too they are great but really unstable on the heel and maybe a bit dangerous lol… can’t understand why Hoka Made these shoes … they already made the Cielo X1 🤨… bonjour de France 🇫🇷 lol a bit sick these last weeks cough and sore throat and it won't go away😡
Not sure I’d want the Skyward X on my feet past about 6-7 miles personally. I’m still trying to decide if I need a Neo Vista. I love the SuperBlast for long runs and long workouts. Been using Skyward X for recovery runs and base runs but probably would not buy this again. Have also toyed with the idea a plated super trainer like the Magic Speed 4 when the marathon plan revs up and gets even spicier.
Yeah I think we’re of like mind. The Neo Vista might have some crossover between a comfy, creamy base run shoe and a super trainer that can handle some long runs and MP workouts. I just took it for 20 miles yesterday (with a social coffee break in the middle). It’s just an enjoyable run experience. I literally just stepped out of CRC Dilworth. They have it in there if you want to try it on.
Skyward-x is too much shoe for me,
my personal limit is the Neo Vista and the Superblast
The Neo Vista is my favorite trainer of the year so far.
Prime-x must easily be the fastest shoe of this group. Its not a trainee, but a racer, in my opinion
@@13lars negative. The Cielo X 1 is the fastest shoe in that group by far. It actually is a racer. The Prime X can be fast, but it gets mushy at higher efforts.
Cielo X1 is amazing. New Balance SC trainer V2 is terrible for me.. Superblast to hard for slow runs.. Don't have the Neo Vista yet 😂
Is the Cielo X1softer while running than the superblast ?
@@user-sx8rv5pz7u I dont have the superblast, but i do have cielo x1. my guess would be yes. the cielo x1 is very bouncy. foam is soft. i prefer the adios pro 3 which has a bit firmer foam. but the cielo x1 is fun to run in, i just prefer something a little more stable
I’ll choose Superblast 2 over this shoe in terms of the cost. Superblast 2 will be more practical and versatile.
@@wonkydonkey7899 probably so.
It would probably be better to test against the Superblast 2. The 1st edition is a year old already
A year and a half, actually. But I don’t have the Superblast 2. I have to work with what I have. Otherwise I would have compared with the SC Trainer v3.
The Skyward X are my favorite shoe of 2024. The rocker works really well with my forefoot strike and allows me to turn them over nicely.
I agree that they’re less cushioned than I expected; however, the slightly firmer feel allows for more pace versatility.
I’m probably going to have to give it a follow up review after 100 miles or so. It’s just taking me awhile to unlock this shoe.
Which has a later turnover, this or the superblast?
The Superblast as a quicker turnover.
