This was SO much fun! I’ve been watching a little each day. You know what you’ve taught me? To be more relaxed when entertaining. I always feel like everything has to be buttoned up and perfect and ready when the guests arrive, and from your videos I feel like your friends helping you with those last minute things just adds to the fun. Mashing the potatoes, putting final touches to the platters, getting everything ready to serve. You are an inspiration and I appreciate all of the time and effort that goes into sharing your kitchen and your life with us. It does not go unnoticed! Happy early Thanksgiving!!
So fun watching your past footage! My favorite tip is the tote to collect everything you need for a holiday meal as you aquire it. Have been doing that since I saw you do it!
Ahh 7 years has FLOWN by! I was in college in 2017 when I first started watching 😱 I told my husband I’ve learned almost everything in the kitchen from you!
What a fun video. Great memories! Fun to see the different homes/kitchens you've been in too. I've been along for the whole ride! Wish I could be at your table as well, so much fun! Greetings from Northern Minnesota 💜
I LOVE LOOVE this video Kimmy💗💗!!!! So many great tips. And many I already do. I have done all of the things every thanksgiving for decades to the point of almost no sleep, but my body isn’t what it used to be and I have to make some things ahead now. I always do a reverse countdown in order to be ready. I’ve been with you for a long time. Love your channel💗💗 PS I’m going to miss Heather, too. You two are a hoot!!
Dear Kim, I already added a comment, but I forgot to tell you that this is perhaps one of the cutest and most informative cooking videos I have really enjoyed in a long time! I really loved your step by step recipes of which I’m so excited to try this year! - And, your pie hacks were crazy good! I’m already thinking of trying to make room in my freezer so I could pre - prepare some pies ahead of time.😊 Thanks so much for showing this video ahead of time. I now have more time to plan what I need and to prepare everything.😊❤
I LOVE this video, such a wonderful idea to put em all together like this! Every year, because I am so not organized like you are😅, I go back and rewatch all the Thanksgiving & Friends-Giving videos because I love so many of the recipes!
This was amazing! Everything looked wonderful! Your friends are lovely and I really loved Heather 💕 I think its great to look back and see what worked meal wise and what didn;t, can save money that way!
I love watching your friends giving we do a pie day the day before thanksgiving we do all the desserts for thanksgiving and soups and chile and evrryone who goes other places for the holiday we all get to spend part of the holiday together it is so fun and then thanksgiving is the next dsy for those who want to come over or do t have family to be with it is heart warming for me go feed and have fun with our friends and family last year we had 40 to 50 people on and off all day thanks for making your shows to wstch enjoy and learn to do many different
Hello Kimmy! This was a great compilation of video’s and I remember watching each one ☺️🦃. It would be so great if Heather came for a surprise visit this year 😁. Enjoy the rest of your evening. 🧡🕊️
I must say, I have watched all these year video's and I love them! I think you have wonderful recipes, and I do now make your jalapeño cranberry cream cheese dip every Thanksgiving and Christmas. ❤ Your family and friends are wonderful and truly enjoy watching every year. 😊
Just love watching your old videos in your original she in her apron home .. love seeing your kiddos when they were younger plus all of your amazing friends .. such fun to watch and to laugh 😂love your friend Heather miss seeing her
I absolutely loved this!!!! Did it bring a tear to your eye editing this, because it sure did to mine. Lol I've been watching you since 2017, and wow. This video was so good! 🤍🩷🤍🩷🤍
Kimmie- I had never heard of you until I was watching another UA-cam fave of mine last night and she mentioned your channel so I thought I would check your channel out. I am only 1/3 of the way into your video and am LOVING IT! You’re so precious and you and Heather have an adorable, hilarious friendship that had me belly laughing! I also am blown away at how much you look like and remind me of a friend of mine who was an alum from a nearby college when I was in college years ago that I also knew from my church youth group. Crazy thing- her name was Kim too so it instantly stuck. I was struggling with how to be able to plan and prep ahead as much as possible for the upcoming big day as I have two severely medically fragile kiddos- one of which is on a ventilator- and both of which are bed bound- and I wanted to have as much prep and planning done as possible so I could really enjoy this holiday instead of feeling so overwhelmed. My son, Mason, his is my youngest of my biological babes, HAS to have his fave green bean casserole for EVERY special meal- (like even family cookouts which makes no sense to me but he loves his momma’s green bean casserole so I will take it as a win) and I was really searching for some input on whether that would even remotely be possible, as it is a must. Kimmie- you have saved the day, my new friend! I was seriously even debating calling our local County Cooperative Extension office for advice because my momma has taught me over the years that that is an excellent resource and I didn’t even have to do that! You saved the day for me! I am so excited to have a new amazing UA-cam channel to find inspiration and comfort in as it really helps me get through some of the days with my kiddos where I don’t get to get out and be with friends engaging in Holiday fun as much as I would like due to the nature of their needs. They are an amazing blessing and I wouldn’t change a thing but I love having some company at home, even if it’s just virtual companions, to help me feel like I am getting to participate in the fun of the seasons. Ironically, I was also stoked hearing you mention the Jackbox TV games because my 23 year old just popped in this morning to give me some hugs and say hey and he was just telling me about him and his oldest brother playing this last night. We will definitely have to check this out for our holiday games. So all this to say, thanks for creating your channel and sharing a part of your home and traditions with me. You are already such an enjoyment to watch and I truly from the bottom of my heart appreciate your tips! Thanksgiving blessings to you and yours. 🍗❤️🍗
This was so fun to watch! 😂 Love your friends they’re hilarious! I got multiple ideas for sides from this. I once made 40 copycat Eggo waffles for the freezer only to find out I added salt (a ton) instead of sugar!! 🤦♀️ You had to enjoy the walk down memory lane making this video too. ❤
I love seeing your mishaps...makes me feel better haha...I am not a cook and i don't love it... my husband is an incredible cook and loves to do it so he does most of it....I tried cooking your lazy man lasagna three times over a few months....2 times my lasagna fell while I was taking it out of the oven and the dish SHATTERED on the floor....the third time I forgot the lid on and it melted all over the lasagna and all over my oven 😂...4th time was a charm....and my husband took it out of the oven for me ❤😂 LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!!! been watching you for years!!! Happy Thanksgiving season and merry Christmas hughs family ❤
Just looked at your deviled eggs recipe. Gonna add grated onion to mine next time. My secret ingredient is a tiny amount of sugar and a couple squirts of Tabasco. Just watched an Alex Gornaceli video. She presses her yolks thru a sieve for super smooth filling. Gonna try that too.
Oh my gosh I once added cumin instead of cinnamon to my oatmeal🤦🏻♀️ Also I make my stuffing similar to yours except I add raisens & chopped chestnuts.🌰
Once when I was preparing Cole slaw, I became very distracted and threw in a healthy dose of cinnamon instead of black pepper. It is now a story of family history!
Thinking about getting that Costco smoked turkey… is it really that good vs homemade? I’m hosting 15 people this year and trying to make some of the menu stress free lol
Kimmy, what Bosh is that you're using? Do you have the name or numbers? I wonder if it's only in US? 🤔 As I never saw it in Europe. By the way, I'm loving watching you. 🤗🤗🤗 Best wishes from Poland 🇵🇱
One year my dad asked me to make him a pumpkin pie at 6:00 in the morning. I made it according to the recipe. When I got home I noticed only one slice was taken. When I tasted it I realized that I didn’t put sugar in it.
All looks delicious 🤤 But as a Brit I have to say we pronounce Shire as Shur… so Worcester shur., a quick shur not an over pronounced one 😂 York shur etc…You do have the Worcester correct though. Our use of the English Language is designed to catch you out, so if we can confuse, we will!
For the holidays this year you must add this punch to your mix. Pour all of it into a drink dispenser and enjoy or pour into a very large bowl and transfer back into the empty containers of the orange juice and lemonade to store. It is so good

Crab Pate Ingredients: 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) of Campbell's condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup, 1 envelope unflavored gelatin (Knox is what I use), 3 Tablespoons cold water, 3/4 cup Mayonnaise (I like Best Foods or Hellman), 1 (8 oz.) package/block of cream cheese softened, 1 small onion grated or 1 bunch of green onions chopped fine, 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can crab meat drained and flaked , 1 cup diced fine celery, For garnish: 1 carrot, celery slices, 1 leaf of lettuce, green onion. Heat soup in a medium pan over low heat, remove from heat. In a small bowl/cup dissolve gelatin in the cold water; add to soup; stirring well. Add cream cheese and mix well add Mayonnaise, crab meat, diced celery, grated onion ( I usually just use chopped fine green onions since I don't want to clean the food processor for 1 thing and grating a onion hurts). Spoon into an oiled 4 cup mold (ok I am an old lady and I still have my real Tupperware Jello salad mold from the 60's and I like it so well I have even bought extra ones for me & my daughter- I love that I can put different design on the top for the season and I love the way it seals so well never leaks) I also have a fluted glass mold I use but I do have to dip the mold in hot water to get it out but it does take up less space. the directions say to use the carrot & celery to cut flowers & design out and make it fancy I never do that. I serve with an assortment of crackers. We like a box of good whole wheat crackers. For years I used canned crab meat then tried the intimation and it works ok but the best is containers in the meat departments that you usually have to ask for and not all grocery stores have it. It is either a tall can or plastic container handpicked pasteurized Crab Meat usually in 8 oz. or 16 oz containers it usually keeps for months in the refrigerator.
Every Holiday my Mom made Creamed Onion using 2 lbs. small white onions some call them pearl onions but they are boiling onions most places! it was my job to peel all those onions before we boiled them it wasn't till a couple years ago I find out you could boil the onions with the peels on and then once cool enough to handle the peels slip right off. It is the one thing my baby sister still wants every holiday we get together. Creamed Onions Serves: 6 Holidays Special dishes Ingredients: 2 tsp. salt 2 lbs. small white onions I some times use C & W frozen Petite small onions thawed Boiling water Ingredients for Cream Sauce: 3 Tbsp. butter 3 Tbsp. flour 2 bouillon cubes 1 1/2 cup milk or Half & Half 2 Tbsp. chopped pimiento 1/4 cup chopped green pepper Recipe instructions: Peel onions. Add salt and onions to boiling water. Cook slowly, uncovered, until tender, about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, melt butter in skillet, blend in flour, and then bouillon cubes. Add milk, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and thickened. Add well-drained onions to sauce. keep mixture hot until ready to serve. Garnish with green pepper and pimiento.
