- Video could have contained more info but as far as what I needed to make it work, its all there. It's still a slow D series so I wouldn't expect too much but it does make the car feel more alive.

hey, i have a question, im doing the same exact swap, d15b7 block with y8 head and d15 cam gear and now the timing belt is too long (d15b7 belt) would you know why? or witch belt sould i use? thanks
Wouldnt this be a vice versa concept running a d16y8 block with a p08-1 head correct
@Skum Boiz I have a d16y8 block and not exactly sure if it's a z6 head or a d15bvtec head but it is stamped p08-1 95but I would assume it would be very similar to yours in the video never seen a d16y8 done like this nor messed with one really I bought the motor from a guy locally and come to find out it's not a y8 head from research I've done it's a mini me swap from what I've gathered
What head studs are you using?

Hey man I got a question I'm hoping you might be able to answer. I am doing the same mini me swap you got running now. I ran into a problem with the air intake and it's hoses. I don't know if I should use the b7 hoses or the y8 ones. Also having trouble figuring out which ones to cap and not to cap. Considering that the y8 and b7 don't have the same exact hoses I am really scratching my head on this one. Any help would be appreciated.
i'm doing this exact combo in a few weeks. Will i be better of using the y8 camgear rather than the b7 camgear?
Everyone told me to buy a y8 belt, but i figure thats wrong if you used a b7 cam...
I'm also curious about the studs, i've been told the y8 has one different stud, so i'd need one y8 stud?
And i got a y8 distributer, you figure that will work better than a b7 one?

i swap my d17 with d15b form a drag race guy, with all d17 components, i don't really know whats in there but i really like the engine and i like your engine to sound nice, it's good powerful engine, i change oil pre and it's worth it, thank you

How fast does cam and journals wear out with locked vtec
What wire harness do you use?
Used the d15 head bolts or the y8?
What about headstuds? Don't you need 9 d15b7 ones and one y8 one?
Wat u think about putting turbo on mini me swap?
So when I do the swap do I have to use y8 manifold or can I swap over my b7 manifold

You're comparing a D17 intake gasket with EGR.
Why is it called a mini me?
