I don't really understand this thing of getting bassists to solo the national anthem. Amazing bassists and good performances, it goes without saying. However, the concept doesn't really make for a great performance.
I’m sorry, but this is bad. He’s a talented musician but either the equipment or the venue failed the sound. Not to mention that it is the national anthem of the usa, and should be played loudly and boldly, and bass guitar just doesn’t seem to do that very well.

I actually thought I was going to be impressed. Fleas national anthem was so much better.
They ruined the EQ and it sounded awful. If the sound quality was better and we weren’t hearing full direct input, I’d enjoy it more
