oh god plz. why you think that belongs to your beloved China though it isn't? that part Victor played is completely different from the song you mentioned. i didn't even heard that 茉莉花 so I searched and listened to that cuz there might be common between Arirang, which is ours and your song 茉莉花. Guess what, no doubt that 茉莉花 and Arirang he showed is completely distant. please. BEHAVE. and I recommend you to open your ears wide.
Victor is completely connected to his instrument and it is like it is part of his anatomy. He knows exactly where he is going at all times and keeps it all right in the pocket. Even when he is retuning a string to a different place he still knows his guitar so well he has it! God designed an incredible musician with Victor.
Love how he went into Korea's most famous folk song, Arirang. I once witnessed Vic learn a high school's alma mater right before going on stage and his whole 30 min performance/impromptu was centered around the alma mater. Genius.
Listening to Victor play is like taking a journey some where or listening to someone tell a story and placing yourself in the main character's shoes....and you can tell the audience gets it...Now this is how you LISTEN to music.....Priceless!!!

Definitely ! A great spiritualist on the bass. The last melody sounds like a heavenly hymn. I love the way Vict approaches melody and harmony. I thank God for having such a musician on earth
The 'oohs' and 'aahs' are a response from an audience that recognizes and admires a musician with a level of skill, creativity, and originality far beyond their own. Not much different from the NBA's Michael Jordan or Steph Curry making a ridiculously impossible basketball shot, or the NFL's Aaron Rodgers hurling a 50 yard touchdown pass with 3 defensive players all up in his face. Musician's version of All Star athletics...#respect
Audience is hilarious. Its like an Asian variety show. Love it. Ppl that are confused need to realize this is just a different culture with different customs. But we all love the same musical notes and that brings us together :)

That's SD dual coils pickups, I have them on my Monarch Standard, they sound great! But I also have the EMG on my older second Fodera Monarch, and they also sound wonderful! They both sound different and wonderful IMO, I am unable to decide which one I prefer
Victor is totally insane and the best bassplayer with no doubt, but the audiences are over excited for every Victor's playing and it's really annoying. Just let there be music sometimes... It's like every audiences are saying at the same time "I'm a cool musician too! I know what is cool!"
