- I had two dilemmas: 1) How to input two stereo sources into my two channel audio interface; and 2) How to jam with my groovebox and synth when away from my desk. If found this solution that ticks all the boxes, hopefully it can suit your needs too!

Finally found what I have been needing for stage left. Thanks!
Cool. I've been thinking of building a smaller rig around the 8 channel version of this mixer. Thanks for the vid!
Have you tested if it actually keeps the stereo channels? Mine seems to mix everything to mono before it outputs stereo. For example I can connect an iPad with TRS, click Stereo button, and hear stereo TRS output. But if I pan the iPad L and R (or use a pan LFO on a synth), it plays on both channels still.
If I use TRS to TR splitter and connect two different devices, both will play on both channels instead of one L and one R. It’s like somewhere in the audio path it all sums to mono anyhow. I bought another similar cheap mixer and it does the same thing…
Hi thanks for the video! I've recently bought the 6 channel version, I want to run some synths/drum machines/samplers into the mixer which have L/R outputs. Would a 6.35mm 'TRS Stereo Jack to 2 x 6.35mm Mono Tip Ring Cable' work to go into a single input on the mixer?
Was hoping this would so I can use all 6 channels, and assuming I would need to press the stereo button, however I've seen it said that I need 2 x TS cables running into 2 channels/inputs of the mixer is needed which means I would only have 3 channels available for gear with L/R outputs. Is that correct?
Any help much appreciated! :)
If I understand your question correctly, you can actually input six stereo devices into this mixer. If your device has left right output, just use two TS cables to one TRS connector to the mixer saved switch the stereo button on. Hope that helps.
@@innovational thanks for the reply! Yeh have sorted this now doing exactly as you suggested. Was misinformed by another review of this mixer which stated this wasn't possible.
Were you able to confirm that the stereo outputs of your devices stay stereo after the mixer? Mine seems to lose the stereo image.
Can I connect a mic yo it?
modal skulpt has mono output...
Cool, thanks for that. I thought I read that but wasn't sure
