Does it amplify mono inputs too or is it stereo source only? Does the mono/stereo button changes the input or the output?
It changes the output. Yes. It also amplifies mono signal.

Hey I thought I saw Scarlet on your interface it's too small for an 18i20 which one is it. I got an 18i20 and love it so much I had to get the OtoPre too.Except its been back ordered forever. You definitly got it going though.

Nice unboxing and review. Is the output louder from this amp than what your audio interface puts out? If so, by how much would you say? Thank you so much.
The output from this device responds independently of the interface.
If I turn the interface up, interface any amount, the amp's volume will instantly gain by that much; you will still be able to turn the output from the amp up or down.
While my interface has an immense gain (I will probably never turn it up to the max), the amp's volume knobs respond to that gain by 0% to about 110%

I just bought one myself as well. I set it up and am noticing some background static too. Are you still noticing it with your device or do you have a method of reducing the background static? Any advice you can give would be very appreciated! Thank you for the unboxing video.
Turn the input gain to just over half, you should hear no static.
Gain the input to around 60 to 65%

Nice review - for some reason when I run my Nord piano and studio logic synth thru it the sound quality becomes thin and wispy - No idea why is this just how mixers work or am I doing something wrong?
It may be a wire issue.
If you don't have an interface you can connect the directly from the computer from the headphone jack right?

I have a Scarlette 2i2. Would this work with it and would it subtract from the audio quality because it’s of lesser price? Or should I go buy the Sterling Audio Amp? Trying to save money
This will work with stereo, if you plug this into the headphone jack in the front. As the back outputs are mono - they will remain mono, if you use the back output.
The quality will not be lesser.

You dude, does that thing list what it's output wattage is? Is it like 4mw or more like 12mw for output? I've been looking all over the web and nothing is coming up except its for sale at Amazon. ...But then again what isn't.
