I have a purple bed and it's like sleeping on the sun. I'm not sure why people say it's cooling because it's anything but cooling. I would not recommend the purple if you sleep hot like me.

My tempur-pedic is sooooo hot that I have to have a wet cloth on my head to sleep. I change it out 3 times a night because the heat wakes me up. needless to say my sleep cycle sucks! I would be interested to hear for anyone using a Dermeo topper at to it's cooling propertys.

I would advise not to buy the tempur-pedic pro breeze or lux breeze unless you’re ready to sleep on a brick. I was waking up feeling like I was bruised because the bed was so stiff and my parter had the same problem we had to return the first one for another tempur-pedic and this one (the softest model they sell) sleeps extremely hot I would heavily advise against going with the brand unless you are a heavier person I am 195 and my partner is 145 and it wasn’t working for us just to give you some numbers hope this helps some other people.

I love your genuine reviews as opposed to others especially when we’re paying thousands. Thank you ❤ I’m going with the BB Aurora King. After watching so many. I was stuck on Helix but my mind is made up! Lol

Hi, great review, thx!! I do have a question. I heat up quite a bit during the initial phase of the night (first couple hours) but eventually cool down. Would the mattresses with the active cooling covers continue to have the cooling effect the whole night (causing me to be chilly after my body temp cools down)? We currently have the first version of a “cooling gel” Tempurpedic bed but it’s been miserable trying to fall asleep while I am in my warm phase of the night.

Again, lets properly define "active vs passive" cooling. Gels, metal infusions and ceramic are all buzz words that have very little to no, supporting literature in the cooling arena. All these mattresses are passive cooling. Best new material in the mattress world is PCM, developed by NASA. Phase Changing Material. Changes from solid to liquid to dissipate heat. If you're gonna hock mattresses, come from a place of actual knowledge.
