Hey guys!
Don't worry, I only took like a day to make this video, it didn't bite into much of my Welcome to Fanfiction.Net and Cucumber Quest Dub work schedule.
So what's this? Well, I've always been kind of disappointed with Welcome to Facebook. It and Welcome to Twitter are the Black Sheep of the Welcome To family, as they don't really follow the standard format to varying degries of success. Facebook's always had the issue of having REALLY terrible sound quality and low resolution, so I figured I should finally get around to fixing it.
This raises the question, will I be remaking any other Welcome To's? No, this is the only one. Welcome to DeviantArt is the only other one that isn't exactly up to par visually, but I think it's amusing and short enough to hold its own.
The friend count changes. When WTF first turns on, there's 2929 friends, then there's 2869, then 2228. Duck Fayce loses friends a lot, huh?
At first that was an accident, but then midway through animating I decided it was funnier just to keep it like that.
For one of the frames when it zoomes into the timeline right after the "FOUR MOTHS LATER" screen, it says that she has 29 friends xD

If you were born in the 90s, can you really consider yourself a 90s person? You were just a little kid, unless you were born near the beginning of the decade it won't be that big in your memories, and you'll be too absorbed in your little-kid-world to know about the rest of it. I think the time period of your teenage years is a better representation of what decade you're from, because that's the era that most defined you.

depends on what are the youngest and oldest ages to be a "kid". if being a toddler ends at 3, and being a teenager starts at 13, then i guess being born from as recently as 1996 (3 years old in 1999) to as far back as 1978 (12 years old in 1990) would be a qualification.

The video looks so much better in HD, and while I was a little strange seeing/hearing all the new dialogue mixed in with the old was a little weird, (expecting what you said in the original, but hearing the new stuff was... Unexpected, but good) the visuals definitely made it look nicer. Same with the new audio.

I recently got Facebook and honestly, I kind of wish I didn't have it. When I look at the page I feel rotten inside because something about the layout and colours makes me feel miserable.Scrolling down my news feed makes me go brain dead, and I start liking things just for the sake of liking them. Getting addicted is so easy that I've had to give myself a strict timeframe for when I'm allowed on and for how long. Going on Facebook doesn't even a joy, it feels like a necessity.
And DAMN, did people pressure me into getting it! It got to the point where people were actually angry at me for not having it. It was a demand, "you HAVE to get Facebook! >:( " and now that I have it, no-one cares.
The only reason I'm keeping the account is that it's the easiest way to keep in contact with people I live far away from. That is the only perk of Facebook for me.
