I may need to make a video as hard to explain in text but if you draw the rays of 180 degree parallel beam. We can rebin our fan beam to parallel beams, but we need more data to get rays that go in the right direction. Once we have 180 degrees plus the full fan angle we can rebin to get 180 degrees of parallel beams
I did draw the figure. I think I might know what you’re saying. So if the fan angles were 60 and I want to reconstruct the projection data of 90 degrees, the angles I need were from 240 degrees to 300 degrees? Just wanted to confirm that. Thanks for your reply.
