Eleanor and Chidi made the ultimate sacrifice to save humanity from an eternity of torture. I feel like this should be enough for the judge to see that people can be good enough for the Good Place.
Eleanor and childish sacrifice saves them self's as well. If he hadn't forgotten, they would have been separated and tortured forever. It wasn't selfless, and therefore, you can't use it as evidence. At least it can't be used as a definitive piece of evidence.
Tbf, I don't think that the question is whether or not *it is possible* , but whether it's *repeatable* . Which is why they needed a new group of people.
@anthonyschroeder8776 Except Chidi didn't make the sacrifice to save himself and Eleanor from torture, but to save all of humanity. To prove that humans can improve without all of the bullshirt of life.
If you're weird like me and like to watch people who know each other in real life act together, D'Arcy Carden and Brandon Scott Jones (John Wheaton) have been great friends for years and were terribly excited to work together. I'm still hoping he can convince her to make a guest appearance on Ghosts.
The whole show is good, but if I had to rank them, I'd put seasons 1 and 2 tied at the top, followed by season 4, then season 3. The normal Earth stuff, when they don't know what's going on and aren't fully a group, interests me less (though the solo Eleanor stuff at the beginning is admittedly pretty fun). I think the show does a good job of taking the characters on a journey, and season 3 is a vital part of this (and it's still plenty entertaining), but season 4 wraps things up, and seasons 1 and 2 are the ones I find the most fun, so that leaves 3 at the bottom.
Terrific reaction and terrific analysis, fellas. Really enjoyed it. I strongly disagree that actors, at any rate, “sign up“ to be celebrities. Actors have a craft they want to practice, and they want to make a living doing it. Most of them fail to make a living at it; many do make a regular living, in settings like regional repertory theater where they have regular work and are not “celebrities“, except maybe to some of the locals. The paparazzi don’t care. Those few who do become “celebrities“ find themselves in that position either because of corporate imperatives of the studios or because of the wildly random and often inhumane behavior of fandom. Almost none of them would choose that status voluntarily. You wanna make the argument about the Kardashians or the royal family, that’s a different conversation.

Completely correct. What more proof does anyone need that humanity is worthwhile?

Great reaction, guys! Watching Chidi and Eleanor prepare for his memory to be wiped is so heartbreaking, ugh.
Tell me about it!
I can't wait to see you guys react to the final season. This show sticks the landing in every possible way.
The big "Countdown to 18" thing I remember was the Olsen Twins. I remember they were even on SNL doing it and they looked so uncomfortable.

I would love to see more of D'Arcy Carden on MANY projects.
Perez Hilton (aka Brandon) is probably my second favorite character arc, and I am excited to see it unfold for you!
So are we! Because right now, he is a tough one to love.

I agree with your point, even though I would rank the seasons a little differently.
Comment for the UA-cam algorithm god, just in case someone has wiped it's memory 🎉🎉
He hears and acknowledges!

You think this is sad.....
Ugh. If it gets more brutal than this, I will straight up stop calling this a comedy.

I love season 3, but it’s my least favorite season.
I love season 4. Maybe my favorite season. Time to embrace the pandemonium.
