  • After looking at Saw traps that were extremely difficult to win, we're going to look at the easiest. Throughout the franchise we've all seen traps that made us think "I can do that" and while we're lucky enough to not be in that situation it does make you think that you can win this one. In this video we'll count down these traps and decide which one (or 2) are the easiest out of all the 9 movies.

The annoying thing is that it should work. Suspension is a form of body modification where people do pretty much that. The hooks are smaller and don't go as deep, but they still don't rip. People can hang from just two hooks for a long time and swing around. He should have had more than enough time to connect the cables.

While I understand what you’re saying about Bobby’s chest hook trap failing, I would argue that that’s kinda the point. The whole reason that Bobby was put into the trap in the first place is because he was pretending to have survived a Jigsaw game, so Jigsaw’s final test was to make him do the trap that Bobby claimed he survived. If the trap was impossible, it’s as much Bobby’s fault as it is Jigsaw’s.

The idea of tragically losing him and then being forced to watch all of his favorite stuff burn to ashes? Jeez, just the thought chokes me up. Yes he was the judge who gave the killer of his child a light sentence, however, by killing him/allowing him to die makes you just as bad as the killer. I was always told "Be the bigger person" - Ultimately those are just items, sentimental yes, but that judge is a living human being and you'd have to sleep at night (providing you survived this ordeal) knowing as an upstanding member of the society and the law that you have taken the life of another when you easily had a chance to save them

Honestly, with the exception of the spiral saw trap, every trap from Jigsaw was the easiest to beat in the series. Unlike in Saw 5 it was very clear that no one had to die to complete the traps. Everyone figured out the blood puzzle except the sleeping guy who John saved, the druggie recognized which syringe was right and said it out loud but freaked out immediately after, there was no penalty for stopping the bike in the motorcycle room and all he needed to do was hit the brake while it was stopped. The last room was the worst by far, not only was the guy incapacitated and obviously not willing to fight but there was no time limit and no obvious danger meaning they had all the time in the world to figure it out. Clearly writing realistic character behavior is not the writers strong suit but not taking a second to think "hmm, none of the others had to die before, maybe there's a way out for both of us?" was mind-blowingly dumb.

We also saw ho normally John and then Hoffman supervized the traps so can one really cheat without being punished?
Amanda's trap was ''easy'' for what we know that guy was not even important to her, the difficulty there was act quickly and don't have doubts in butchering a person who happens to be alive. I believe her trap didn't involve her harming herself and was not extremely difficult because John was targeting to manipulate and groom her into his accomplice, I don't see any other reason.

No cheating required and you don’t necessarily need to do anything. The players in saw II were specifically told the key wasn’t supposed to be used on the door and there are easy ways to tell it’s a trap before the “trap” activates

If they did nothing, both would likely die since the screws were tightening regardless of if they were doing anything. If they put their clothes or the knives on the scale, Hoffman would likely use them for another ‘game’ or just go in afterwards and kill them anyways for cheating.

for the buckets trap people were debating if maybe spitting on the blades as saliva contains some stuff that blood has and maybe the blades worked by detecting iron or smh.

Another solution for Bobby's trap, he could've lowered himself down so that he was holding onto the bottom rims of the cage, then he probably could have been able to reach the spikes with his feet. If he did he could've kicked off them to get some momentum and start swinging, then he could let go when he was over the floor so that he would land safely. Even if he couldn't reach the spikes with his feet he could still try swinging.

Cecil's trap (the knife chair) seemed easy. I mean, yeah. It would probably require plastic surgery afterwards. But pushing your face towards some knives doesn't seem like it would kill you.

he did win it, however he then attacked john cramer and fell into barbwire so he lost it out of his own stupiity

@@Aliceintraining Yep. His own stupidity killed him. It was just a few cuts on his cheeks and brow. Nothing even too bad too.

Stepping out of the tub to buy some time is a good idea, but won't the tub eventually overflow and make the floor deadly too? Not like that would stop him from disabling the trap before that happens though, just as you say.

Also the trap with the chains and the spinning blades, instead of letting it slowly pull you, walk close to it right away to have a bunch of loose chain. Hold the chain up to the blades, and let that cut your chains. And there will be sparks, but that’s where bucket helmet comes in, which will protect you.

I remember watching Fitchs trap for the first time in book of saw and distinctly thinking "can't he just climb out of the tub?"

It's also worth mentioning that saw 5s glass coffin, jigsaws handing collars (3 needles) and saw 6s acid needles would also be very easy to beat

  • @Ghost-wu8fx

also with the easiest to beat one with the ground spikes he could’ve climbed down the bottom of the cage as well and not had to drop at all
