Custom Red Hood Cosplay Strapping, Lighting, and Sheathing

- Trying to tie up some loose ends to my full Red Hood cosplay this week so I threw it all together in one video. Hope it all makes sense. For this build, I used: 10 mm, 8 mm, 6 mm, 4 mm, and 2 mm EVA foam, 1 inch elastic banding, EL wire with battery packs, belts, paper, foil, hot glue, contact cement, super glue, Plasti Dip, spray paint, and some acrylic paints. You may also need the following tools: a Dremel with various bits, a heat gun, and an Exacto knife or box cutter. Very nicely done, Thomas! It all looks super legit and kind of dangerous. If you're going to take it to a convention, make sure you check their rules on weapons, of course. At my first one, I had to run out to the store and buy some superglue to glue the trigger of my nerf gun down so they'd let me in. I didn't check. Silly me. I do dig the EL wire additions. They look super cool.
Very valid points. I don't intend on wearing it to a con, but if I did, I would probably not wear guns. I will use them for my photoshoot only. Especially the crazy ones I intend on building.

Hey man I've been a follower for a while now and I love this series especially since I'm making the bat family cosplays for me and my friends any chance you could make a batcowl one with long and one with short ears maybe something for all the bat family could be a fun couple of videos.

Some cool little extras and proof it doesn't all have to be built. Out if interest, in US do you have to have someway to show a cosplay gun is a toy?
I don't know the answer fully. I know conventions all have their own rules for weapons. Most also have weapon checks at the entrance to regulate what comes in. I am only using my guns in a photoshoot, not taking them out in public.
