If anyone is trying to get better Wi-Fi connection due to poor Wi-Fi connection YOU NEED THIS. My outdoor stickup cam was having a poor connection and always offline. I bought the chime pro and PROBLEM SOLVED.

It’s really great that you mentioned right up front that if you are also going to have floodlight cameras fairly far removed from your router, this Chime Pro will act as a WiFi extender “and you’ll definitely want that.” This fact alone tells me that I don’t want the basic chime. But I need a chime in the back of my house because my hearing isn’t good and I can’t always here the doorbell chime that is near my front door.

can chime be set to make one tone for motion detection at the doorbell, and a different tone for the doorbell being pressed?

When we set our Chime Pro up none of our 3 linked devices came up..when we tried to link them up it wanted to take us back through the set a device up for each device that’s already connected.
Is this suppose to run hot? Mine feels very warm to touch. Is it safe?

When my ring doorbell button is pressed, it rings twice, it flashes blue and my chime pro rings twice. However, after that, while my ring doorbell is still flashing blue and if it rings again, my chime pro doesn't ring anymore. So, if we don't hear the alert on the chime pro the first time, it won't alert us no matter how many times someone rings the doorbelI. Is there anyway to change that in the settings, so it could alert us everytime the doorbell button is pressed?

ive been reading a lot of people having problems with the signal strength on this thing. that it keeps dropping its connection to wifi. any issues?
Weak signal. Worst than the original even being closer...better buy a wifi extender like tplink
How did you get it to work on your existing door chime? The description of the Ring doorbell says it doesn't connect to traditional existing door chimes.
The adapter kit for the ring doorbell was installed into the old chime and it works perfect.

The ring doorbells must have terrible Wi-Fi connectivity I get a poor signal from mine and it’s literally next to the router, I’ll need to buy one of these now, had I known about this sooner I would have got one in the first place

You can do it in any order technically, but if you have them all, I would install the chime pro first.
Can I have multiple ring chimes in every room? Or is it only limited to 1?

HELP!! I cannot figure out nor can I find instructions on how to charge the battery on my ring, chime pro. I know I’ve done it before I’ve taken it apart once before and plugged it in. I cannot seem to figure it out now can you help?

I have a ring wired at the front door and another ring wired at the back door. The ring chime pro will not allow a different chime for each ring wired location (although you can do so in the app) Seems like someone missed the boat on this one, but hope it will be added soon ☹️
So does that mean don't buy two Chimes?

That depends how far away your router is and your camera or doorbell.

He's correct. I think without it, it only goes like 60 or 70 feet so it does depend on the distance from your router to camera and the sizes of your house or apartment.

How do you keep the POS from always going offline??? The least Ring Chime could do was to reconnect automatically because it's a PIA to reconnect it. I've never been so disappointed in a company in my life!
