People in first tier cities are not price sensitive as long as the EUC has the right specifications because this will be the customers primary mode of transportation. EUC companies are figuring this out. The prices of their mid range EUCs may even become more affordable as many people stop buying them and start buying the higher margin premium EUCs.
I have no doubts people will buy that wheel. I'm looking forward to the reviews and hope it does well. The evolution of EUC's is going so fast, It's exciting.
this is so exciting. i like the idea of charging an euc once every few weeks, and fully capable of traveling almost 200 miles of range. it amazes me how far ahead the euc industry is in terms of technology, compared to the hyper/super scooters we now have access to today. i am referring specifically to the higher voltage and larger capacity batteries. i purchased my dualtron storm limited for the specific reason that it has an 84 volt 45 amp hour capacity battery. if i could choose any voltage, it would be similar to electric vehicles, which are approximately 400 volts up to approximately 800 volt systems. and with that much power, the controllers can be tuned down and these micro mobility would be super efficient, and fast beyond need. i love that euc’s now have (some models) up to 168 volt batteries. i have friends that have switched to riding euc’s and i am looking for a model to start learning with. at the same time, i am watching for the latest and greatest of the companies products. this model you are talking about in this video sounds very exciting. i think the price of euc’s will continue to increase as the demand for more speed, more voltage, more power and more range continue to play a major part in what causes many people to switch over to euc from super and hyper scooters. a friend of mine literally said he was embarrassed that he spent several thousand on a hyper scooter after he test road a begode euc and loved the experience. immediately selling his hyper/super scooter, which was only a 60volt battery, with insignificant range when utilizing the power of the scooter. the rest is history. it is my thoughts that the more models made by a company, the more choices people have to buy something that very accurately meets their specific budget and specification requirements. i see the making of extreme models as a fantastic way to give long range hobbyists and endurance racers more options rather than searching around for how to modify and or build their own system. this move is fantastic!
I predict wheels will get to 200 plus volts and a 10,000 watt motor with 8,000wh battery will be coming soon and it will exceed 10,000dlls .Top speeds like 85mph and a distance of 150 miles with a 160lb wheel.I know that will come and soon these wheels will definitely be getting band .This is all of our fault no QC nobody stops these poster boys from telling the public everyone that every wheel they try is the best and start being honest to everyone that's waiting on there reviews.
168v need 40 cells for each series group so a 5-6000watt hour wheel is gonna be huge and weigh a ton! Lol Hell no, I would never pay that kind of money! ~$4k is my limit, the Lynx being the max that I would spend on a wheel.
I've been a massive fan of gotway since the 84v nikola but as a community we need to do something about this. We save up for months to buy a wheel and a couple months later that wheel is irrelevant and parts next to impossibleto get. If we stop giving them money they'll change their stance.
The Master Pro was too heavy for me, so no way am I going heavier! $8.5K gets me a very nice motorcycle that’ll give me more range and speed. It’s not like you would be using the Super Master Pro on trails!
I'm def not in the target market for such a wheel but I can see some might. Really dont know if it'll sell but I salute BG for the daring proposition. I doubt there's anyother mfgr that has the guts to gamble on such. Kudos to BG
You know, looking at the price, $8500 seems like a stretch. Realistically, something around $5500 makes more sense. Sure, some folks might debate its value, but considering what we've forked out for similar wheels, it's justifiable. This isn't your mainstream wheel, it's for the select few. I'm talking about riders like me, hitting those endless scenic routes, like Route 1 in California. This wheel is made for those who live to ride.
Damn it! I want one so bad. I'm short, and love the idea of riding a horse sized euc, but I'm with you! I'm not about to encourage that high price direction by buying one. I've learned my lesson about batch 1 wheels. I'll wait till they've been out for a year or 2, the price drops, plus you actually get a finished wheel, if it survives its launch. Subbed!
I want EUC Manufacturers to concentrate on quality, efficiency and independently certified weather resistance (IP ratings) for a long time now. I know many on UA-cam want 60+ mph wheels but after 40mph it gets dicy and brake distances get too long on euc.
Yeah these companies need to start innovating in other ways. More safe, less cut outs, sleeker, lighter, more maneuverable. Hell I don't know... throw in some voice controlled, AI, self balancing & driving mode or some shit LOL. Only innovating for more speed has diminishing returns and upward limits.
I have not seen a lot of riders rocking a Master Pro. The big wheel of choice has been the EX30. For the most part, that wheel is the perfect balancing all needs. I dont envision a lot of takers for a SUPER Master Pro. I would have thought that the Commander GT Pro with the physical speed (with rider) topping out at 100mph would have been the ceiling for EUC and that the next level is to improve on all the other characteristic’s of the wheel in future editions. I was wrong. But for me personally, a wheel that can hit the 100mph (I will never use) means that I will have a wheel that will last me a good long time. Just change out batteries every 3 years. 100mph really means I have ALL the head room I could ever need to ride the roads with cars, which is the REAL point of having more top speed. As long as the wheel has great lowend torque, I should be good. EUC is finally at the level of a motorcycle. And all this for $4300! Talk about a deal! It is a shame that Begode is trying to cater to the “I’m a retired engineer with money to blow” market that is prevalent in the west coast market. However it is nice that 2024 is finally all about street wheels. So that’s cool. I’ll enjoy seeing what ACTUALLY will become my next wheel after all the reviews come out on the ET Max and the GT Pro. These wheels hit the “I want a real motorcycle with ONE wheel” market, which is what I have been waiting for. $8500 for an EUC? That’s for the show off.
The prices is definitely ridiculous and I think an argument could be made that the commander gt and the gt pro have different use cases and have a reason to have different ideations released so closely, but when they dont have parts for wheels that are a year or less old that outweighs any benefits of having a "family" of euc of the same style/arrangement.
I think battery makers should get into the PEV game to keep cost down. BYD unseated Tesla as the biggest EV maker because they produce their own(worlds leading producer of rechargeable batteries). They even have a $15k car! That's making tesla slash prices to keep up. And BYD isn't even in the States.... YET. If a company like BYD starts producing PEVS, they'd dominate the market!
Price of batteries is a scam, this is way the most expensive part. Motor is next, but honestly about 500bucks in single order, could mean 2-3 hundred in big one. Not sure about "custom" ones though

I had a master v3 with a v4 controller. I'm not saying that begode doesn't discontinue parts to soon, but if the newer version parts are backwards compatible then that's not the same thing. It might be better in some cases.

I have to agree with you. 8K for a wheel with virtually zero support within a year is ridiculous. They just released the Commander GT Pro a few months ago, which was hideous looking and now pushing the ET Max which is an entirely different & non compatible design. In another month they'll be pushing the ET Max Pro. They are just throwing crap at the wall to see what sticks and they'll drop all support for whatever doesn't. Count me out. At least Leaperkim acts like they care about taking care of their customers.
two years ago i would have said this wheel is DOA..... but i know of a handful of long range riders who would kill for that type of range and power even at the cost of extra weight but at a fair price point. only time will tell.
Over $4000 is already a stretch. EUC is half an ebike, lesser pro parts. They are drunk on prices, like Hoverboard, they went dirt cheap for the industry and killed the product. Now, it is over priced that will kill the product. lmao.
The price is certainly too high. But I personally like the direction of more battery and more range. I have a 3600wh wheel right now, and even on mixed road and rail riding, I usually drain it in less than 3 hours. On roads, it might not even be 2. I talked to other people and this does seem to be the norm. So making something that can go at least half a day, like 4-5 hours before needing to find a charge spot is kind of necessary. I know with fast charging, you can really cut down on charge time, but it can't be supported by a normal wall outlet, plus, I need to bring a heavy charger, just one more thing to worry about. Speaking of which, these wheels are already over 50kg, they should add another 2kg and just make the charger built in.
This wheel is ridiculous. I weght 135lb and this weight 150lb? This is contradicted to the philosophy of EUC that the driver controls the wheel not the wheel carrying the driver. This is probably is receipy for Zombie drive disaster. Not to mention the price tag for a wheel should make out of the alloys that used for a space ship materrial. They should persuit a lighter wheel with more range. Speed should not be the main reason for EUC. Comfortable and safety is.

@@EUCme the panther is on its way, and it is expected to have 168v, 4440wh, and a 22" tire. I'm not positive if that is the wheel that they were building, because I was initially hearing rumors about a 6000wh wheel that may be 22 in or 24 inches. I've heard recent things that the Panther and the 6000wh 24" wheel are different wheels, but I'm not 100% sure. The panther specs are confirmed, but it's not 100% confirmed that they are the same wheel or not. 🙂

To be fair that is just the name I heard, the super master pro may not be the actual name when it is released. But it is in line with their typical naming convention 🙂
I don’t think they’ll stop making the mpro. Two different price points. People who don’t want to spend $8500 will still buy the mpro. I just ordered v3 a few weeks ago and don’t think I’ll order the super mpro. Really don’t think it’s necessary unless you plan on driving 2-300 miles in a day

IF I purchase an EUC, I'm going with Leaperkim, likely the Lynx, d/t their track record, reasonable pricing, and most importantly... SAFETY FEATURES AT SPEED, w/ redundancy and inability to cut out and throw you on your face.
Happy to pay $8k IF - they obtain and support full US tax-credit certification as an electric-vehicle. Believe that certification requires 7.2kWhr batteries though. And it is the manufacturer that is required to obtain the certification, which is exercised by the customer on his/her tax-return. But the taxpayer can't just file for the tax-credit because the vehicle has 7.2kWhr batteries, the manufacturer must pass whatever test/hurdles government bureaucrats throw at them. Then and only then, after manufacturer obtains the official certification, can customers file it on tax-return.
I'm used to 20 in being the largest wheels. You mean 18-20 in terms of rim right? its confusing since the euc community has been using rim size for so long but some are now referencing the actual wheel size.
8k is fine if the quality justifies it. I’m not sure what would be twice as good as lynx, but let’s assume it’s twice as good. The problem as you mentioned is that gotway doesn’t stand by their products. Maybe Innotion could do it. I wouldn’t buy it, but some people would.

150 mile range would kill the damn tesla pound for pound. If it aint legal and you get that thing confiscated and heavy fines maybe jail time. 3 to 4 k you can risk it a bit just drive cool. 10k is way too big of a gamble. If it can go over 60mph and you dont use it then why even buy it at all. I think someone out there would buy it. But the 1 batch thing you talked about sounds very plausible. Now if we had free range to ride on the road at speed limit "lol" my ass speeds on at least highways I would consider it. Electric motorcycles are 30k. If this thing could go 150 miles range and was under 10k and fully insurancable fully street legal it would be an option. Going all out no insurance possible jail time on high speed highway use no fucking way.

IMO on Design, Quality, Build, Fit & Finish Inmotion is #1, LK #2, KS #3, BG #4 Pleading with IM to refine v12,13,14 and clean up. Begode we don’t need a hundred different wheels, this isn’t the cereal isle. End of day for most performance riders- we want a faster and more powerful wheel than we will ever need, decent battery capacity and safety margins that has us covered- simply no cut outs. Oh, and don’t get high before pricing these things. Side note: round table needed, get overseas to label tire size by rim diameter. Jeez when did that happen?! Yes, euc's are grossly overpriced, but the manufacturers don't care as they know there is a huge community of fanboys who will drop a small fortune in a heartbeat just to get their hands on the latest and greatest. I waited a year for the Master price to drop to just under 3 grand before I snatched it up. Nope, not jumping on anything new anytime soon.

Whenever I ride my master pro at lower speeds, I get visions of myself riding a Gold Wing 😄 not that I have ever ridden one of those, but those things are just so heavy and ginormous that they seem to occupy the same class.
i find that normalisation, compression, then limiter, in this order, just using the default settings in audacity makes dialogue much easier to understand while at the same time not destroying too much@@WheelGoodTime the program even has a macro function so it's possible to turn the entire thing into a 3 click operation

I have to agree with you. 8K for a wheel with virtually zero support within a year is ridiculous. They just released the Commander GT Pro a few months ago, which was hideous looking and now pushing the ET Max which is an entirely different & non compatible design. In another month they'll be pushing the ET Max Pro. They are just throwing crap at the wall to see what sticks and they'll drop all support for whatever doesn't. Count me out. At least Leaperkim acts like they care about taking care of their customers.

two years ago i would have said this wheel is DOA..... but i know of a handful of long range riders who would kill for that type of range and power even at the cost of extra weight but at a fair price point. only time will tell.
Over $4000 is already a stretch. EUC is half an ebike, lesser pro parts. They are drunk on prices, like Hoverboard, they went dirt cheap for the industry and killed the product. Now, it is over priced that will kill the product. lmao.
The price is certainly too high. But I personally like the direction of more battery and more range. I have a 3600wh wheel right now, and even on mixed road and rail riding, I usually drain it in less than 3 hours. On roads, it might not even be 2. I talked to other people and this does seem to be the norm. So making something that can go at least half a day, like 4-5 hours before needing to find a charge spot is kind of necessary. I know with fast charging, you can really cut down on charge time, but it can't be supported by a normal wall outlet, plus, I need to bring a heavy charger, just one more thing to worry about.
Speaking of which, these wheels are already over 50kg, they should add another 2kg and just make the charger built in.
This wheel is ridiculous. I weght 135lb and this weight 150lb? This is contradicted to the philosophy of EUC that the driver controls the wheel not the wheel carrying the driver. This is probably is receipy for Zombie drive disaster. Not to mention the price tag for a wheel should make out of the alloys that used for a space ship materrial. They should persuit a lighter wheel with more range. Speed should not be the main reason for EUC. Comfortable and safety is.

@@EUCme the panther is on its way, and it is expected to have 168v, 4440wh, and a 22" tire. I'm not positive if that is the wheel that they were building, because I was initially hearing rumors about a 6000wh wheel that may be 22 in or 24 inches. I've heard recent things that the Panther and the 6000wh 24" wheel are different wheels, but I'm not 100% sure. The panther specs are confirmed, but it's not 100% confirmed that they are the same wheel or not. 🙂

I don’t think they’ll stop making the mpro. Two different price points. People who don’t want to spend $8500 will still buy the mpro. I just ordered v3 a few weeks ago and don’t think I’ll order the super mpro. Really don’t think it’s necessary unless you plan on driving 2-300 miles in a day

IF I purchase an EUC, I'm going with Leaperkim, likely the Lynx, d/t their track record, reasonable pricing, and most importantly... SAFETY FEATURES AT SPEED, w/ redundancy and inability to cut out and throw you on your face.

Happy to pay $8k IF - they obtain and support full US tax-credit certification as an electric-vehicle. Believe that certification requires 7.2kWhr batteries though. And it is the manufacturer that is required to obtain the certification, which is exercised by the customer on his/her tax-return. But the taxpayer can't just file for the tax-credit because the vehicle has 7.2kWhr batteries, the manufacturer must pass whatever test/hurdles government bureaucrats throw at them. Then and only then, after manufacturer obtains the official certification, can customers file it on tax-return.

I'm used to 20 in being the largest wheels. You mean 18-20 in terms of rim right? its confusing since the euc community has been using rim size for so long but some are now referencing the actual wheel size.
I use total wheel diameter when referencing an EUC's size, unless stated otherwise 😊

150 mile range would kill the damn tesla pound for pound. If it aint legal and you get that thing confiscated and heavy fines maybe jail time. 3 to 4 k you can risk it a bit just drive cool. 10k is way too big of a gamble. If it can go over 60mph and you dont use it then why even buy it at all. I think someone out there would buy it. But the 1 batch thing you talked about sounds very plausible. Now if we had free range to ride on the road at speed limit "lol" my ass speeds on at least highways I would consider it. Electric motorcycles are 30k. If this thing could go 150 miles range and was under 10k and fully insurancable fully street legal it would be an option. Going all out no insurance possible jail time on high speed highway use no fucking way.

End of day for most performance riders- we want a faster and more powerful wheel than we will ever need, decent battery capacity and safety margins that has us covered- simply no cut outs.
Oh, and don’t get high before pricing these things.
Side note: round table needed, get overseas to label tire size by rim diameter. Jeez when did that happen?! I’ve been riding dirt and street entire life and never seen tire sizing so non-typical.

The price doesn’t seem to make sense. It’s a very small battery bump. Nothing worth twice the cost? I’m interested. But not at that price. I do like the voltage too. Really like to charge at 20+ Amps! I don’t think this really kills the V3 Master Pro. Just because of the price. Can’t wait to see what comes up! Yes, euc's are grossly overpriced, but the manufacturers don't care as they know there is a huge community of fanboys who will drop a small fortune in a heartbeat just to get their hands on the latest and greatest. I waited a year for the Master price to drop to just under 3 grand before I snatched it up. Nope, not jumping on anything new anytime soon.

Its only reason to exist is to be the top of the line in all possible aspects, that is all there is to it. A curiosity. If you are a pleb who carefully counts his hundreds of dollars then just ignore its existence. Just like with expensive cars, or phones or any other kinds of vanity items - yes they are better in some metrics, but there's a different market for them and you are not part of it.

Whenever I ride my master pro at lower speeds, I get visions of myself riding a Gold Wing 😄 not that I have ever ridden one of those, but those things are just so heavy and ginormous that they seem to occupy the same class.

i find that normalisation, compression, then limiter, in this order, just using the default settings in audacity makes dialogue much easier to understand while at the same time not destroying too much@@WheelGoodTime the program even has a macro function so it's possible to turn the entire thing into a 3 click operation
