Follow me on twitter btw. I've been using it a lot more but never really plug it in my videos so here it is!
If this Gen wasn't shit on, the new Gens wouldn't have been mediocre.
Generation 5, the generation that had a perfect marriage between story and game-play
My days of protecting gen 5 from haters are over
Gen 1: the original
It's pretty funny that these games are so well liked today. I clearly remember a lot of people hating on this game when it first came out and saying that the previous generations were way better. Nostalgia is a powerful thing I guess
I honestly believe a large reason gen 5 get hated back in the day is how it didn't include any pokemon on gen 1-4.
Black and white /2 where the last time the franchise tried to progress.
Imo, Gen 5 games has the best plot and story in all Pokemon generations till this very day.
A wierd fact is this game cost 60 dollars in my local gamestop and i got it for 20 bucks in gamestop
Another weird facts, that by the way is my favourite!
PokeFan:"How tough are you?"
Headcanon:
This was my favorite generation. No generation yet has had the third game been a sequel. But B2/W2 were and it was incredible. Also am I the only one who thought the moving sprites were charming?
The weirdest thing I know about Black/White is that N is supposedly adopted, even though with their similar appearance he and Ghetsis totally look like they should be actual father and son.
Not a fact, but a headcanon. I believe that N, like myself, has Asperger's syndrome. Several of his personality quirks can be interpreted as symptoms of Aspergers. For instance, his preference for interacting with Pokemon over people, narrow interests (Pokemon rights and math), and black-and-white thinking. When I played Pokemon Black for the first time, I noticed these things and immediately saw them as similarites between N and myself. This may not have been intentional, and may have just been to make N seem weird or show how his childhood affected him, but this is my interpretation of his personality.
And Then...Farewell
We're probably getting a gen 5 remake in a couple of years but first, let's go Sinnoh!
I first got introduced to Pokémon Black and White through the anime which despite being pretty bad, has a special place in my heart. So one day I decide to look up the episodes to relive my childhood memories, and I looked up Pokémon Black and White Episode 1 or something like that and I got a video gameplay through instead. I was super confused since I really only got introduced to Pokémon through the card games and the anime. So I decided to get the game at my local game stop. And it turns out to be one of my favorite games ever. What a weird world.
I thought the early names were interesting. I remember before X and Y came out when Calem and Serena's names were Xavier and Yvonne respectively
