The energy emitted by the wishing stars is indeed incredibly useful as an energy source and used in many different fields but the wishing stars themselves (that are actually parts of Eternatus that got scattered 3000 years ago after its first defeat) aren´t unlimited. He's also got a pathological need to be in the spotlight too. He wants to save Galar both for benevolent purposes and because it would ensure that he would always be a beloved figure in history.
You put the most evil villian in the history of pokemon I actually was wondering if she might be in the list. I'll never forget the evil thing Mindy did.
7:51: Lol imagine you're walking on the rubble of the town and you just hear "help me" beneath you. Also, raise your hand if you think some idiot's gonna let him out.
Another fun fact about Ghetsis: His Hydreigon has a friendship value of zero, while the rest of his team has their standard friendship value. To my knowledge, it's the only Pokemon you fight with a specific friendship value of zero, while being owned by a Trainer.
I really wanna see N and Malamar in the anime again. N because he’s my favorite, and Malamar because it said it would return in the future, but it hasn’t yet
The Aether Foundation and Wicke aren't here despite being with Lusamine and Faba since they have different goals in mind. Wicke and the Foundation wants to help Pokémon while Lusamine wants to capture them for her own gain. No idea what Faba's deal is in all of this, but he's up to something alright.
I have to say that Edward is a terrifying villain. On one hand, he mentions being a doctor with no evil intent. On the other hand, he casually Death Star'd Dolce Island as a _statement_ (which probably killed a ton of Pokémon) and casually threatened to do the same to Renbow Island. Seriously, the Rangers are talking about the voices of Oblivia rising up against him and he's just: "If that's so, I'll let you hear the real voices of Oblivia. I'm afraid they'll probably be screams, though."
Honestly I'm surprised he didn't bring up Purple Eyes. Purple Eyes ended up being the true villain of the game as he not only took control over the Golden Armor from Edward and tried to rule the world using Mewtwo, in the post game, he got even MORE evil by trying to have Arceus destroy all humanity period.
How do you figure Rose was the biggest plot twist? They over focused on him which told you he was the evil guy. Same thing they did for the leader of Team Flare.
Some other tidbits of trivia: - There are a couple of other NPCs that have Pokemon holding nuggets. In Ruby Sapphire and Emeralds on Route 104 there are the Rich Boy and Lady trainers who have zigzagoons holding nuggets. (Why is doubly hilarious because if they are holding items they can't even use their signature pickup ability) They give a lot of money on defeat AND use full restores on their level 7 or something Zigzagoons to show off how much money they have, which I always found funny. I remember battling them repeatedly by using a pokemon with the coin amulet and then switching in a Pokemon with theif to steal their nugget and farm money. - In the ORAS remakes, Maxie's room has a decorative boat colored in red whose description says something like "it looks old, but is well kept". Why a boat and they didn't put something in his room like a rock collection or something more "like" him? Did Gamefreak get lazy? That first strikes you as strange by someone who should not like the sea as Maxie, but since we know that they are pretty much old-friends-turned-enemies (and even were in the same team, rumored to be Team Rocket), it's probably intentional and an old gift he got from Archie that he didn't get rid off. - Still in ORAS, Shelly's room in Alpha Sapphire has a picture of her and Archie as kids, together with Jirachi, which is also a little reference to the Pokemon Special/Adventures manga.
That Nugget isn't the only held item with no effect an NPC has. In Platinum's Pokémon Mansion, you can fight Rich Boy Liam and Lady Celeste, where their Blissey is holding a Rare Candy, which also has no effect in battle. Another Fact about Lawrence III is he's never referred to by name in the whole movie.
On the one hand I'm impressed that you included some of my personal faves like Lawrence, Domino, and Iron Mask Marauder. On the other hand... ...Molly Hale, Mitsumi, Evil Togepi, Grey, Black, Bashou, Buson, Tyson (who's even seen in the background of Sebastian's segment), Io, Go-Rock Quads, the other members of the Socitea, the Miss Fortunes, Kamado, Poképark Darkrai and his followers, Poképark Mew (yes, Mew is the antagonist of a game!), Mr Kincaid, Wheeler (shown during Blake Hall's segment), Red Eyes (the ACTUAL first character to try and kill you), Blue Eyes, Purple Eyes, Dark Rust, Arlo, Sierra, Cliff, Wicke, Bede, Sordward, Shieldbert, Venus, Trudly, Folly, Ardos, Eldes, Callahan (ok maybe I'm the only one who considers him a bad guy, but everything bad that happens in that movie is because he never stops LYING), Goone, Galen, first movie Mewtwo... Yeah, some of those omissions are a bit strange.
10:06 no it’s fucking not. The second I saw his face in the opening goddamn movie of the game I said out loud he’s gonna be the villain bruh it was so fucking obvious
Another thing you forgot to mention about Koga is that he helped restore the health of his golbat in red and blue by cutting his wrist and letting his Pokémon drink his blood. It was brutal, and I was NOT ready for that.
5:45 In Spanish she's called Venus because that planet is linked to femininity and she's a female. Otherwise she'd be called Marte (Mars in Spanish), which is a planet linked to masculinity and it may create some confusion
For No.32, the fact that these characters are 27 years old might be a reference to 'the 27 club'. A theory around young musicians who die, all happen to die age 27, examples are Jimi Hendrix, Amy Winehouse and Kurt Cobain. However, a musician is statistically more likely to die age 55 and other famous musicians that died young, died different ages, 2pac being one, died age 25.
Oh wow......that's a new explanation for the golf clubs, but sadly I feel the whole...abuse theory is alot more likely, especially with how gamefreak loves to hide more adult/dark themed lore within their games
Wes might be the only Game Protagonist that was part of a Evil Team but in other medias there are others Rosa(or Whitey in the Manga) the female player character in B2W2 was a member of Team Plasma in the manga.
Gengar from Mystery Dungeon is the rival from my childhood. He's such a jerk and the game made me really invested into wanting to kick his ass. But the first time I played it, I lost the Waterfall TM in a Dungeon, so I couldn't do the postgame. When I looked it up years later, I learned that Gengar is the human in the legend, and my mind was blown.
#64: Since others have already mentioned the story behind the golf clubs and trophies, I’ll talk about the poses. The body language, combined with characterization, makes Guzma and Khalil’s poses totally different. Guzma’s squat is heavily associated with delinquents and thugs in Japanese media, while Khalil’s crouch is how golfers visually line up a putt.
Fun fact: Team Rocket's Meowth's episode where they tell his back story reveal that he is the ONLY Meowth that can walk on two feet and speak like humans in the Pokémon world, he learned it to impress a love interest. But later Nintendo made all other Meowth stand when canonically they didn't.
Volo was the biggest plot twist in my opinion. I never expected that guy to betray me and when you are hoping that the fight was finished with him there are 2 extra battles left to completely beat him.
10:28 There is also an NPC whose Pokémon are holding Nuggets in the postgame of FRLG: in Lost Cave (near Five Island) there's an NPC called Lady Selphy, she has 2 Persians who are both holding Nuggets.
That fact that he also supposedly always loses to her is also referenced by their type specialties: Guzma uses bug type Pokemon, which are weak the flying type Pokemon that Kahili owns
10:33, technically false but an easy one to mistake, in diamond pearl and/or platinum, after you do the 5 clefairy battles in the set amount of turns, the rich kids have a blissey holding a rare candy.
The legends being genderless is probably for attract to not work, cuz in each and every canon Multiple legends are referred with gender in some way or form For example, zacian who is said to be zamazenta's sister in the dex
I'm convinced masked trainer is the real mc. Pikachu can fight legendries, but Delibird??? and against a "bigger" "better" bird? that's plot armor at its finest.
12:31 So what is it? I've never seen one before, no one has but I'm guessing it's a white hole A white hole? Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, a black hole sucks time and matter out of the universe, a white hole returns it. So that thing's spewing time back into the universe?
0:40 And from that theory and the fact that Giovanni is Silver's dad, one can believe that Giovanni had an affair with Arianna which resulted in Silver, explaining why he's so mean to him
Man, volo was the biggest plot twist in the movie, cuz before the red sky came in legends arceus it was not even predictable that he is gonna be evil. Even after that it was hard to tell if he gonna turn out that.
He should have brought up Sabrina’s ability to mass create structures through mister Mines wall illusions. A tactic that gets used by crystal in the emerald arc and one of the gym leaders during the X and Y arc.

Giovanni: In addition to Team Rocket, Giovanni had other business exploits of various legitimacy. The most notable one is Pokemon Land from the Anime, a theme park featuring giant Pokemon robots that could actually use moves... yeah, probably a bad idea in hindsight. Anything Manga Related: The manga is its own continuity and should be treated as such. Jessie: Jessie's last name is commonly assumed to be Miyamoto. James: James is the one who comes up with all the various costumes that Team Rocket uses, and is a cosplayer by hobby. Also, it's kinda hinted at that James is genderfluid. Meowth: Meowth's ability to walk bipedally is stated to be unique to him in the anime, however in the games Meowth is almost always portrayed as bipedal. Colress: In X and Y, a backpacker at the Standing Stones south of Geosenge Town mentions that Colress told him about how the stones can channel energy. Volo: He's the descendent of the last remaining survivors of an ancient civilization in Sinnoh/Hissui that was struck down by Arceus. This explains his motives as well. Lysandre: His goals are actually different depending on whether you're playing X or Y. In X, his goal is to lock the world in a static state of endless beauty. In Y, he views himself as the world's protector, seeking to strike down all that threatens what he sees as beauty. He's insane either way, but he's less of a monster and more of a well intended extremist in Y. Guzma: The golf clubs aren't Guzma's, and the trophies show extensive Pokeball iconography and don't resemble golf trophies. I'll leave it at that. But anyway, until BDSP, Guzma was the strongest bug-type specialist in any Pokemon game, and he's still the strongest main-storyline bug-type specialist. Greevil: Greevil was a last minute addition to Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness. Originally, it was planned to have _Wes_ as the chief executive of the Cypher Syndicate, but that was dumbed out when Satoshi Tajiri ordered them to change it. Satoshi claimed that making the protagonist of Coliseum the main villain of XD: Gale of Darkness would "negate the player's feeling of achievement after beating Coliseum". Honestly, if they kept Wes in XD, it would have been by far the biggest plot twist in the entire franchise. Mirror B.: Mirror B. is the only character in the Pokemon franchise to have two completely different unique battle themes that aren't remixes of each other. His first theme from Coliseum is a Latin Dance song, while his XD Gale of Darkness theme is heavily influenced by Disco. The ace trainer with an Axew on Route 8 from Pokemon X and Y: This trainer is a villain for having a first form pseudolegendary that knows dragon rage early enough in the game for it to 2-shot anything you have. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if her sole reason for existing is to try and force the player to use a fairy type.

No. He truly does things out of altruism. He isn't looking for fame. He was just playing with forces beyond his control.
@@giboit. I really see it as a mix of both altruism and ego. Look at how he treated his brother the second Peony got fame for himself.
You put the most evil villian in the history of pokemon
I actually was wondering if she might be in the list.
I'll never forget the evil thing Mindy did.
I loved the fact for Colress. Seriously his theme is such a kicker
7:51: Lol imagine you're walking on the rubble of the town and you just hear "help me" beneath you.
Also, raise your hand if you think some idiot's gonna let him out.
I like how number 100 was a real life antagonist for all of us
Another fun fact about Ghetsis: His Hydreigon has a friendship value of zero, while the rest of his team has their standard friendship value. To my knowledge, it's the only Pokemon you fight with a specific friendship value of zero, while being owned by a Trainer.
I really wanna see N and Malamar in the anime again. N because he’s my favorite, and Malamar because it said it would return in the future, but it hasn’t yet
i think it wa scrapped or its gonna be in the remakes anime special episodes like for the special episodes of bdsp and legends arceus
The Malamar's plot ended when the group faced Xerosic after the Lysandre stuff. The Malamars allied to him and were defeated.
Seriously, the Rangers are talking about the voices of Oblivia rising up against him and he's just:
"If that's so, I'll let you hear the real voices of Oblivia.
Some other tidbits of trivia:
- There are a couple of other NPCs that have Pokemon holding nuggets. In Ruby Sapphire and Emeralds on Route 104 there are the Rich Boy and Lady trainers who have zigzagoons holding nuggets. (Why is doubly hilarious because if they are holding items they can't even use their signature pickup ability)
They give a lot of money on defeat AND use full restores on their level 7 or something Zigzagoons to show off how much money they have, which I always found funny.
‘Bud’: In the anime, there’s a running gag in which no one can remember Butch’s name.
I see what you did there.
maybe them forgetting branch's name was on purpose
Mendi is the secret team leader of all of them
You thought I was a hero but I am actually villain and Lusamine!!!! Lol.
10:06 no it’s fucking not. The second I saw his face in the opening goddamn movie of the game I said out loud he’s gonna be the villain bruh it was so fucking obvious
2:36 I just love this one
I'm glad the closed captions informed me that Giovanni wasn't originally the Virginian City gym leader. The more you know
Another thing you forgot to mention about Koga is that he helped restore the health of his golbat in red and blue by cutting his wrist and letting his Pokémon drink his blood. It was brutal, and I was NOT ready for that.
I love how Dobbs didn’t spoil the identity of the masked man for everyone else
5:45 In Spanish she's called Venus because that planet is linked to femininity and she's a female. Otherwise she'd be called Marte (Mars in Spanish), which is a planet linked to masculinity and it may create some confusion
Confusion how?
For No.32, the fact that these characters are 27 years old might be a reference to 'the 27 club'. A theory around young musicians who die, all happen to die age 27, examples are Jimi Hendrix, Amy Winehouse and Kurt Cobain. However, a musician is statistically more likely to die age 55 and other famous musicians that died young, died different ages, 2pac being one, died age 25.
It's more likely that Guzma wasn't the one playing golf, but he for sure was the ball.
Someone should make a game where you play as Giovanni and his adventure through Kanto change my mind
4:01 that fact has been actually confirmed in Pokémon masters
Oh wow......that's a new explanation for the golf clubs, but sadly I feel the whole...abuse theory is alot more likely, especially with how gamefreak loves to hide more adult/dark themed lore within their games
Wes might be the only Game Protagonist that was part of a Evil Team but in other medias there are others Rosa(or Whitey in the Manga) the female player character in B2W2 was a member of Team Plasma in the manga.
The only issue I has with gen 2 manga is Celebi’s arm that was very long and I’m glad they immediately fixed it in gen 3
James had a Pokémon card in the anime. He collects Pokémon cards. They fall out of his pocket and they’re small to see
Gengar from Mystery Dungeon is the rival from my childhood. He's such a jerk and the game made me really invested into wanting to kick his ass.
But the first time I played it, I lost the Waterfall TM in a Dungeon, so I couldn't do the postgame. When I looked it up years later, I learned that Gengar is the human in the legend, and my mind was blown.
Thank you for spoiler i am strugling in groudon now
Whoops sorry.
2:52 I was eating domino’s pizza when I was watching this the first time
Fun Fact: The masked man is Pryce and all he wanted to do was to see his dead Lapras
Thats not a Fun Fact, its just a Spoiler
To be fair I thought people didn’t care about the manga
Fun fact: Team Rocket's Meowth's episode where they tell his back story reveal that he is the ONLY Meowth that can walk on two feet and speak like humans in the Pokémon world, he learned it to impress a love interest. But later Nintendo made all other Meowth stand when canonically they didn't.
Very Nice Dobbs 👍😎
Volo was the biggest plot twist in my opinion. I never expected that guy to betray me and when you are hoping that the fight was finished with him there are 2 extra battles left to completely beat him.
Surprised you found 100 villains man, good job :)
Where did you get the info over that Mew card in the 2nd movie?
Would love to know more about it!
10:28 There is also an NPC whose Pokémon are holding Nuggets in the postgame of FRLG:
in Lost Cave (near Five Island) there's an NPC called Lady Selphy, she has 2 Persians who are both holding Nuggets.
To be fair, most trainers in vanilla main line games don't have hold items.
Guzma having an ongoing rivalry with Kahili (either in golf, Pokemon battles, or both) is 100% part of my headcannon.
That fact that he also supposedly always loses to her is also referenced by their type specialties: Guzma uses bug type Pokemon, which are weak the flying type Pokemon that Kahili owns
Proton has that murkrow that spoils the password to you so he can fly in places lol
10:33, technically false but an easy one to mistake, in diamond pearl and/or platinum, after you do the 5 clefairy battles in the set amount of turns, the rich kids have a blissey holding a rare candy.
The legends being genderless is probably for attract to not work, cuz in each and every canon
Multiple legends are referred with gender in some way or form
For example, zacian who is said to be zamazenta's sister in the dex
2:37 Ah yes my favorite Pokemon villain
*BUTT*
I'm convinced masked trainer is the real mc. Pikachu can fight legendries, but Delibird??? and against a "bigger" "better" bird? that's plot armor at its finest.
The masked man is just that good. What if I told you that he did that while also fighting a different battle miles away using Morse code instructions.
I just realised after watching this video, team rocket has so many members that I didn't even know about.
12:31
So what is it?
I've never seen one before, no one has but I'm guessing it's a white hole
A white hole?
Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, a black hole sucks time and matter out of the universe, a white hole returns it.
So that thing's spewing time back into the universe?
0:40
And from that theory and the fact that Giovanni is Silver's dad, one can believe that Giovanni had an affair with Arianna which resulted in Silver, explaining why he's so mean to him
Man, volo was the biggest plot twist in the movie, cuz before the red sky came in legends arceus it was not even predictable that he is gonna be evil. Even after that it was hard to tell if he gonna turn out that.
You'd think that this is a list from least to most evil, mostly because mindy is at the end of it.
2:35 I see you, Mr. Dobbs:)
4:28
Dobbs is a Pokemon villain confirmed
Hahah that final one. Hidden villain for sure!
You know the leader of team Flare appears in USUM, right? A lot of the bad guys appear in those games, Guzma helps you at Aether Paradise!
they used the original designs for archie and maxie, i try to forget about that
Finally a new video
What about the Howard Clifford from the Detective Pikachu movie?
Yeah Howard Clifford taken control of Mewtwo and fusing both people and Pokémon into one from having a nightmare being a Pokémon into one.
1:24 'the spoons of destiny." Spoons....destiny....wow....that's some pretty rad worldbuilding
He should have brought up Sabrina’s ability to mass create structures through mister Mines wall illusions. A tactic that gets used by crystal in the emerald arc and one of the gym leaders during the X and Y arc.
7:45
What could have happened to Lysandre never crossed my mind. but that...
Hey dobs big fan did awhile I love your animated skits and find you really entertaining hope you’re doing. Quick question will you stream agin in twitch ?
I guess Mirror B is a Smooth Criminal
The fact that you mentioned team go rocket and couldn't find a fact about arlo sierra and cliff is a crime that makes you number 1 on everyone's hitlist
volo was more of a shock to a lot of people the chairman rose
Am I overthinking things when I noticed that Dobbs placed Lusamine as #69? 🤔😅
If pokemon and Kirby are in the same universe that means Kirby is a pokemon like a Dido that could transform its abilities
In my school vr game 00 goalius is counted as a villain so here's a fact about him he is the only known ultra beast that beaten arcius in combat and is the oldest ultra beast in existence at a whopping 5.6 billion years old
You forgot Attila and Hun from The Legend of Thunder, the only successful Team Rocket duo.
THEY FRICKIN CAUGHT RAYQUAZA AND THIS HAS NEVER BEEN BROUGHT UP AGAIN I WANT ANSWERS
Who's that Pokemon!
Me: ...
Dobb's Intro sometimes
Me: SWELLOW SWELLOW SWELLOW
Courtney didn't just runs a normal life now, i think she became a coordinator after the time traveling of celebi
Red in games:😶
Red in manga:💪👺
2:52 Domino like the Pizza Company.
I feel very bad for "Bernard"(Butch)
There was also talk about Wes being planned to be the main antagonist in XD
The guy with the golf clubs… they’re broken cause they were abused with them
Love you’re content Dobbs
9:59 I see what you did there…
Unless I missed it, I think we're missing the trio from GO, but I doubt they have enough info for a video. Arlo, Cliff, and Sierra are pretty interesting design wise
Yeah, the number had to settle at 100. The fact that there’s more than 100 out there just goes to show how expansive the Pokémon franchise is.
@@Dougbro1 I guess Dobbs will have material for a part two if there's more spinoff games/anime , video games , and more Manga content in the future. Gen 9 hopefully will have some interesting characters
Cliff is so bada$$ ngl
Ok that first fact is actually really interesting, I never knew that!
ngl is a bit surprised that their was no mention about dr. namba from pokemon has the same voice actor as weevil underwood from yugioh just would've thought that be a fun fact to add tbh
Knowing how we can have Lysander in Pokemon Masters EX, I can safely say that he managed to get out from the rubbles and is still alive
14:34 mindi so evil even arcaus is scared of her
9:00 is wrong. Guzma got beat up by the golf clubs. He was abused.
Pokemon has seen so many villains throughout the years ranging from evilness and toughness, and yet almost all of them were stopped by a 10 to 15 year old kid. Except for Mindi, she is too evil.
