E 61st Tulsa -- I don't remember much snow when I lived there - Tulsa there's a lot of ice, rain overnight and freeze - couldn't get in your car. Saabs with the regular sport M&S tires slid a bit in that kind of snow - but do very well - especially with a manual. Would get winter tires if in Minnesota. There are videos showing the ESP with sliding around in snow when driving and cornering like a maniac-- but I wouldn't recommend driving that way.
It's killing me that I'm working on my 9-5 Aero Wagon daily right now. I've got about a week or two of work left depending on the weather cause my garage has my 03' Aero Wagon in it thats getting a full restoration and my daily is in the driveway! It snowed where I live in S.E. Massachusetts twice recently, including last night. We don't get much snow over here anymore... at least not like when I was a kid and it snowed regularly. These cars are so much fun in the snow... and every other weather condition to be honest. Thanks for sharing these videos with us, I really appreciate it!
sounds like you are in for a lot of fun very soon! Wishing you the best of luck with your projects Daryl!! Wow I never would have thought MA doesn't get much snow haha. In my mind, the east coast is snow haven lol. I grew up in Maryland and we got a lot of snow dumped on every winter.
You should hear it in a Saab convertible. The muffled sounds coming through the top while driving on a quiet early morning, with fresh snow on the road, is a very cool experience. Even the convertibles are amazing snow machines. It was fun to listen to you guys talking about stuff. Took me back a bit. Mine is a 21yr old college kid now, totally different conversations. Your little ones could not be in a safer car. Enjoy fatherhood. The childhood phase goes fast, but it's an amazing time. You won't regret the video post years from now.
oooo snow drive in a convertible, top down, heater on...that must feel magical! Much respect to you for raising a kid for 21 years! That is amazing. "The days are long but the years are short" they say...I'm sure you know how that feels. Thanks for the encouraging words!! I wanted to record this even though I know it's not the most exciting content but I wanted to capture some of these conversations so I can look back at them later when my kids are 21 haha
Cool vídeo. Looks like you had more snow in OK than we did in the DFW area,I had to take mine out this morning for a drive it feels so comfortable with the heated seats and climate control. Mine is a 04 arc as well
Now its going to rust away AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Looks like the kids had fun! Do you guys watch Bluey? That conversation at the end is exactly something that would happen on the show.
