Batman a true hero who lives up to his code and ppl in his universe just like the injustice universe want to call him a bad guy because he won't kill his villians.
So instead of seeing Bruce Wayne’s opposite he was killed off in order to subvert expectations with the original twist on both Tommy’s and Riddlers ends... Ok... “What time is it when an elephant sits on a fence” Really wish I could’ve seen that moment in animated form oh well.
It’s nuts, you can see how much more conditioned Batman is. Selena, someone with absolute amazing conditioning herself is huffing and puffing, yet Batman is totally fine
1:47 Plot twist, Bruce sticks a knife in her heart. "Selina... You know where I live... Someone tortures you for info and that's it for me... It was fun."
You know, I have always found this scene inspiring, surprisingly. Not his relationship skills, but his conviction and consistency towards his mindset of hope - changing the villains.
Batman really should realise sometimes how incredibly selfish he can be with his code. I don't want to ask him to behead the Joker and stick his head on a pike, but he almost just got himself killed to save some scumbag who tried to kill and destroy everything he ever cared for! If not for Selina he would've died trying, heck perhaps she would've also perished.
Selina needs to understand that it's the code that makes him who he's. Without the code forget Selina the whole freaking JL would be out to hunt him as he'd the most dangerous person to be alive. Honestly Selina wouldn't even be alive with how many times she crossed Bruce.
Terry McGinnis is the true Successor to Batman He put his life on the line for Gotham Countless times he even Tries to save Mr freeze from dying Terry is a good person Like what Bruce said it’s not Batman that makes him worth wild It’s The other way around Terry would never let someone die if he could save them
If comic version Batman meets this dummy, I will not be surprised that he will punch him in the face. In Hush comics, it's about Batman accepts his friend has gone, is impossible to save. In this movie, this Batman is all about saving the unsavable soul. In comics, Batman never blames Harvey Dent did what he has to do for saving his life. In this animated movie, Batman blames Selina did what she has to do for saving his life.
He accuses her of being a kleptomaniac, yet he himself has a deep obsession that he cannot change. And we know he can’t change it. Because we know the rest of his story.
as one of my favorite fictional character "batman" i can understand where your ideologies stand for it makes sense to some extent you are a gentle soul i dont think many ppl could commit this sort of work with their lives when they have nothing to gain from it but even though you lost loved one's to it you still didn't break you still clench to that hope . but Finally some one told him how insane he sounds , i mean to let psychopathic murderers walk away without any major consequences ? really batman ? i believe that sometimes you have to cross that line *for the greater good* ......
Batman is mentally ill people. No matter how many villains he beats, no matter how many lives he saves, no matter how much knowledge he gains, it will never be enough. That’s maybe why he refuses to kill. Because he’s just like the villains he sends to Arkam. The only difference is his morals. And his good guy attitude.
They were great in the whole movie this just breaks my hearth. They are meant to be together. Why can't they just get married? Why does DC feel the need to keep Batman single? Its getting boring to see him do this over and over and over again. I think it would be amazing and very interesting to see a married Bruce and how it would've affected the family. Selina's interaction with the other members of Batfam her meeting Damian. Maybe getting another cat?
I've been saying this for a few years now... Marvel owns the big screen, but DC owns the animated movies by a long shot. Can't wait to see more(excluding Batman Ninja). That being said, if they brought this batman story line to the big screen without diverting too much from this universe, I think they would give marvel a run for their money.
Selina should understand without his Code, he would have gone insane like red hood or punisher. There would have been no Robin or Alfred. He is survived by them and his Code. Well she should know that without his Code she would have been fucking killed by him. So goddamn respect the fact because of him you are alive.
I think she does understand. The problem is that she fears that his code is more important than his humanity. Selina was willing to give up her code and life of crime for him, she was angry because she thinks Bruce dosen’t love her enough and she loves him more than anything.
That's what makes him a wuss, he chooses to protect the bad people that's why so many innocent people die. He needs to change his code, kill the ones that are too dangerous to live. And killing the most dangerous ones isn't for honor, justice or vengeance, it's just another chore and I gotta say he's made real mess.
Ethan Peterson naw he’s a good person and won’t kill. If anything he should just hang up the cape and let Red Hood or some other person take up crime fighting. Batman killing destroys him as a symbol of hope. At that point Batman is better off not existing.
If Joker War ever gets adapted, I hope they use that line. There's a scene in the climax where that could be used but Idk if it'll ruin the powerful silence between Batman and Joker.
Dang I got really happy on how much they were about to live a perfect life think about it Batman and Selina are the parents Alfred is the grand father and nightwing , red hood , Red Robin, Damien and Batgirl are the brothers, sisters and cousins I pray that they would stay together and not end with them breaking up
Without a code I'm no better than them many people are ignoring this quote Batman is saying he is just as crazy as his enemies the only difference is that he had a code the only people i can think of on how batman really think are Alfred, nightwing and superman
Really upset with the damn story! I mean Hush won’t make an appearance anymore since it was actually the Riddler and since Thomas Elliot’s body was burned to crisp! Make what a disappointment
I’ve always respected Batman’s code since 2004. That’s what I love about him. His full character of this code is further stated in the Injustice series. There was one thing that I found unacceptable. He refuses to kill people with his bare hands, that I respect. The Joker was finally going to die for his crimes and was sentenced to lethal injection as a death penalty. Batman took measures to stop them from injecting Joker and just let him be locked up instead. The Joker’s evil would finally stop and at least the death of the Joker was done by the law and not by Batman’s hands. I always side on Batman’s don’t kill rule for years but the lethal injection part was just unacceptable.
Plus, DC's newest bigwigs have made it abundantly clear that the heroes are there for only one purpose and that's to save people and not show that they're actually human.
@@raulmirut6519 His code is the only thing that makes him away from being a lunatic when he became batman who laughs he mutilated and killed 7 billion people through torment and made sick children his robins and murdering his adopted children and niece also manipulating other evil batmen and creating a multiverse destruction team....... Also Killing the justice league and making superman kill his parents due to kryptonite...... Do you want that instead
@Mohd Amerul Aidil it was a adaptation. An adaptation is taking something and slightly changing it to make something new. They took a lot of the story lines from the original but they made it new.
@Darth Pancake Studios I respect your opinion but I disagree with it. I think having Thomas be Bruce's actual friend is interesting cuz you never really see Bruce deal with the death of a friend.having the Riddler Bahia shows more development for that character.
@Darth Pancake Studios Thomas's death had a purpose in the movie. It allowed him to have that moment at the cemetery and open up with Catwoman. And those weren't deaths of friends those were deaths of his protegerse alfar is his father figure so they weren't as the same as friends. Also they were more connected to Batman where is we've never seen Bruce as the person have a loss of a friend. I know it sounds confusing but hopefully you get what I mean LOL
Honestly though I’m glad they broke up. Even in the comics, when they get married it just doesn’t work for them both as a couple. They’re lovers, they aren’t meant to be anything more. Batman’s morals are too risky for everyone who gets involved with him, and even if Dick, Alfred, Barbara and co. Are ok with that, Catwoman sure as hell wouldn’t be. She’s a thief, a loner and she doesn’t submit to anyone. That’s why their “relationship” never works. Because as hot as a couple as they are, they aren’t meant for each other. And it’s not Selina’s style to play crime fighting partner. In the end, they’re both better as forbidden lovers than a married vigilante couple.
Remember a Batman free from his code, free from the rules that puts him in check. Is the most dangerous version of Batman to ever face the universe. To quote the Batman who Laughs "See it yet? I'm not him in a batsuit. I'm you. You. How you are supposed to be without the codes. Without the rules. Except one. BATMAN. ALWAYS. WINS."
This is a way better ending than the comic. In the comic they broke up just because Catwomen said "Hush" and batman thinks that shes trying to manipulate him but honestly i almost cried in this ending. I wanted to see them get together in the comic but there relationship is done much better in the movie.
Batman's character and personality has been done so much better in animation. This version I have come to like especially, second to Kevin Conroy's version. The Batman in these movies was given back his compassion again, he shows emotion, has an actual personality, he has even shown to be sassy, makes small jokes here and there, and has also smiled at times, he keeps good relationships with his allies, and has not once yet screwed anyone over just for the sake of the mission. This is why I also loved and miss the personality of Batman back in The Animated Series before he was changed to an emotionless robot who pushes everyone away from him and never learns from those mistakes. The Batman in this universe actually learns from his mistakes, he's a team player, and has come to be a better father figure for both Dick Grayson and Daiman.
Same im on catwomans side, no way he would've saved riddler, he would of died trying and that fact he can't see that and just doesn't care is the deal breaker.
It's all about the mission. It's always been about the mission. Batman can't afford any distractions because he only served one purpose. To protect as many people as he can and keep the Legacy going even after he's long dead.
I believe batmans no killing rule goes deeper than that, batman is aware of how skilled and dangerous he is. He knows that even he can be corrupted and become a danger to the entire world, the only thing possible preventing him from becoming that danger is to set limits for himself, by having his no killing rule he's put limits on himself as it makes him be more cautious and always preventing him from using his full portential, if he ever did kill someone he would continue to kill and never stop, he would possible becoming even more of a tyrant then regime superman from injustice Anyway, this is just my opinion
A boat should not sail on a single anchor, nor life on a single hope. - Seneca Batman should stop himself only because of the hope. He needs someone to stop him too. Cat woman could have been the best second anchor. And perhaps she will. People don’t change over night. Batman needs to reevaluate his losses. The loss of Selena.

"He didn't have to die"
Dude, we just watched you provoke Riddler into firing an RPG into traffic for a bag of money that was definitely insured.
Fans in 2019: Hope they'll be together again
Darkseid: Nope!
Looks like we're about to get a reverse snap...
Nightwing: Alfred, he did it!
Batman: I guess I didn't
I'm with Catwoman on this one, this whole batman code thing sounds good in the fictional world but in real life you do what Catwoman did
Exactly.
damm true
It’s interesting, people don’t want heroes. They want anti-heroes. You can see why tho, our world is too cynical for heroes to work.
Can't work for batman tho if he did the logical things all the time he would have killed so many.
Batman a true hero who lives up to his code and ppl in his universe just like the injustice universe want to call him a bad guy because he won't kill his villians.
I actually like that they made Riddler Hush instead of Thomas Elliot.
Me too he got threatning . But as riddler he was a joke
It sure did catch me off guard
The thing is, I liked the twist BUT I think that the Riddler could have used a bit more screen time for his little backstory with Elliot.
@@b1ackspid3r43 In a good way.
well no, it's the worst plot twist of all time, the plot twist of jim gordon as the villain in gotham by gaslight is million times better than this
If Batman crosses the do not kill line
Everyone is in trouble.
Batman didn’t have to die either
So instead of seeing Bruce Wayne’s opposite he was killed off in order to subvert expectations with the original twist on both Tommy’s and Riddlers ends...
Ok...
“What time is it when an elephant sits on a fence”
Really wish I could’ve seen that moment in animated form oh well.
It’s nuts, you can see how much more conditioned Batman is. Selena, someone with absolute amazing conditioning herself is huffing and puffing, yet Batman is totally fine
Selina and bruce: *breaks up*
Me: :( WHY DC?!?!?!? WHY DID U HAVE TO DO THIS TO ME
1:50 That OST is really good
It starts at 1.29 and it is heaven
After seeing hush its safe to say that the DC makes better cartoon movies than it does on the big screen this movie was a proven statement of that
1:47 Plot twist, Bruce sticks a knife in her heart. "Selina... You know where I live... Someone tortures you for info and that's it for me... It was fun."
Bruhh 😂🤣😭
No kill rule makes him, him
Thats what makes him a Batman
You know, I have always found this scene inspiring, surprisingly. Not his relationship skills, but his conviction and consistency towards his mindset of hope - changing the villains.
Can't blame Selina for this. Which woman gonna be happy if their man nearly sacrificed themselve to save the killer? I still respect Batman's code tho
I'm just glad that in the comics Batman really did change and after all these times Bruce and Selina are together.
Batman really should realise sometimes how incredibly selfish he can be with his code.
I don't want to ask him to behead the Joker and stick his head on a pike, but he almost just got himself killed to save some scumbag who tried to kill and destroy everything he ever cared for!
If not for Selina he would've died trying, heck perhaps she would've also perished.
the batman 2022 ending without motorcycles
Batman at the end: So you're saying there's a chance.. lol
Selina needs to understand that it's the code that makes him who he's. Without the code forget Selina the whole freaking JL would be out to hunt him as he'd the most dangerous person to be alive. Honestly Selina wouldn't even be alive with how many times she crossed Bruce.
Comic figures can't seem to realize that he's just another freak who does not kill.
@@bilalustun8959 exactly. That's also joker is all about. Like he knows Bats and him are not very different.
@@ray4493 It's funny. That reminds me of a joke.
If that was terry McGinnis I think he would’nt let riddler die
No he wouldn't as in many of the episodes he actually does go back and tries to save the criminals.
No, Terry doesn't kill either. He didn't kill Mad Stan and he refused to kill Blight.
He wouldn't push his loved ones away like Bruce at the very least.
Like Waller said, He has bruce's heart which means his codes also
Terry McGinnis is the true Successor to Batman He put his life on the line for Gotham Countless times he even Tries to save Mr freeze from dying Terry is a good person Like what Bruce said it’s not Batman that makes him worth wild It’s The other way around Terry would never let someone die if he could save them
I feel like no matter what happens they always came back together
Soooo no Jason Todd?
Kayster Let's hope that their is a another movie and jason todd is in it. It could be called
"Batman: Return of the Redhood"
@@markuzzepeda7040 No, I'm just saying maybe Warner Bros can make a new movie that has or involves Jason Todd
Because we know the rest of his story.
as one of my favorite fictional character "batman" i can understand where your ideologies stand for it makes sense to some extent you are a gentle soul
i dont think many ppl could commit this sort of work with their lives when they have nothing to gain from it but even though you lost loved one's to it you still didn't break you still clench to that hope .
but Finally some one told him how insane he sounds , i mean to let psychopathic murderers walk away without any major consequences ? really batman ?
i believe that sometimes you have to cross that line *for the greater good* ......
0:23 Selina's anime moment
How?
They were great in the whole movie this just breaks my hearth. They are meant to be together. Why can't they just get married? Why does DC feel the need to keep Batman single? Its getting boring to see him do this over and over and over again. I think it would be amazing and very interesting to see a married Bruce and how it would've affected the family. Selina's interaction with the other members of Batfam her meeting Damian. Maybe getting another cat?
To the best catwoman ever:Michelle Pfeifer.
This breakup was the worst part of the movie.
And still was a lot better, than it was in comics. In comics he even accused her (like what if she was also a part of Hush’s plan)
Poor Bruce, his life is nothing but lose and pain.
O really love this timeline they built in those movies can't wait for 2020 for the new Justice League Dark
@@eldritchpumpkinghost2968 Because he's a wuss
"I won't kill you but I don't have to save you." The line was better for this situation
No it wasn’t. That line was a Nolan thing more than a Batman thing.
If Joker War ever gets adapted, I hope they use that line. There's a scene in the climax where that could be used but Idk if it'll ruin the powerful silence between Batman and Joker.
Dang I got really happy on how much they were about to live a perfect life think about it Batman and Selina are the parents Alfred is the grand father and nightwing , red hood , Red Robin, Damien and Batgirl are the brothers, sisters and cousins I pray that they would stay together and not end with them breaking up
Dude this hit me hard in the feels man
Without a code I'm no better than them many people are ignoring this quote Batman is saying he is just as crazy as his enemies the only difference is that he had a code the only people i can think of on how batman really think are Alfred, nightwing and superman
I swear it’s like people don’t know about Batman in the comics some versions he kills and becomes a villain
Really upset with the damn story! I mean Hush won’t make an appearance anymore since it was actually the Riddler and since Thomas Elliot’s body was burned to crisp! Make what a disappointment
The Riddler won't make another appearance either
be grateful this is even a movie they can’t make the movie exactly how you want it especially since its animated so it’s VERY HARD to make!
Alex B so it’s hard to make a movie based exactly like the comic? So how come Batman: the killing joke is exists then?
Turboman 2244 yes you idiot it doesn’t matter if it’s based of something most movies are based of something that doesn’t make it easier
Alex B just bcuz it isn’t easy doesn’t mean it’s impossible. This movie was still bad for not staying true to its source materials in the comics.
Bronos X
That's also the reason why I love batman too
And also Spider-Man
She just saved you Bruce.
Three times in this movie.
Why can t you change?
Because he's Batman. It's an occupational hazard.
Plus, DC's newest bigwigs have made it abundantly clear that the heroes are there for only one purpose and that's to save people and not show that they're actually human.
Batman is insane
@@raulmirut6519 His code is the only thing that makes him away from being a lunatic when he became batman who laughs he mutilated and killed 7 billion people through torment and made sick children his robins and murdering his adopted children and niece also manipulating other evil batmen and creating a multiverse destruction team....... Also Killing the justice league and making superman kill his parents due to kryptonite...... Do you want that instead
Deep there batman is a evil lunatic lmfao.
ua-cam.com/video/IqYpx22bSwI/v-deo.html
I think thats why he is the best hero
Catwoman:I'm so stupid being with him
Talia al ghul:SAME HERE
WHY CAN'T HE JUST HAVE A HAPPY ENDING?!?!
I'm glad they changed the ending if I wasn't going to make a predictable ending if you read the comics
@Mohd Amerul Aidil it was a adaptation. An adaptation is taking something and slightly changing it to make something new. They took a lot of the story lines from the original but they made it new.
@Mohd Amerul Aidil that is called rip off
@Darth Pancake Studios I respect your opinion but I disagree with it.
@@vingrier87 Nah the movie sucks.
The only way for Batman to have a happy ending is for him to die and Bruce Wayne to finally live it will always be that forever
Like in dark Knight rises 2012
"Maybe some day"
Apokolips war: lol no
bruce wayne is the mask for batman, in a sense batman has duel personalities and the batman personality has taken over completely
Perhaps Batman’s more human than we noticed.
This was such a dumb reason to break them up. I swear if Batman didn’t have his code Selina would be afraid of him not attracted to him.
Then never read comic one its the most hilarious breakup i havbe ever seen it reminded me of martha from bvs
Pascual Morales She changed, she is not a thief anymore. Read Batman Rebirth.
Except one. BATMAN. ALWAYS. WINS."
「Æsir」
This is why I love batman
His no killing rule makes him sane and not a monster!
He's such a complicated character in my opinion
Cat woman: maybe someday
A year later dark side controls Batman
Everyone dies sooner or later can't stop a Batman
And this is why Batman Should stay single forever.....
So saving a life is the deal breaker? Wtf.. These women
I hate to say it, but I'm on Selina's side here.
Same im on catwomans side, no way he would've saved riddler, he would of died trying and that fact he can't see that and just doesn't care is the deal breaker.
I think that batman truly love both of Catwoman and Talia al Ghul
And there it comes again: No Dating for the Batman.
It's all about the mission. It's always been about the mission. Batman can't afford any distractions because he only served one purpose. To protect as many people as he can and keep the Legacy going even after he's long dead.
If Batman kills he will be no better then the villains in terms we understand
Someday the cat and the bat will find happiness...someday they'll happy together again 🙏
It won't happen coz catwoman will be killed by darkseid's army
@@tamimet1056 heathen
@@tamimet1056 No she wasnt killed
She’ll be back she always comeback
I was really disappointed that there’s no Jason Todd in this movie
First thing the comic was nonsense it's overrated . Paul dini version (who wrote batman the animated series ) was way better
2:02 Batman: she'll be back
Guess we will never get the actual villain Hush...best thing there is are the Arkham games...
I believe batmans no killing rule goes deeper than that, batman is aware of how skilled and dangerous he is. He knows that even he can be corrupted and become a danger to the entire world, the only thing possible preventing him from becoming that danger is to set limits for himself, by having his no killing rule he's put limits on himself as it makes him be more cautious and always preventing him from using his full portential, if he ever did kill someone he would continue to kill and never stop, he would possible becoming even more of a tyrant then regime superman from injustice
Anyway, this is just my opinion
This was the one of the most dramatic batman movie ending ever, the thing the keep him sane, I the reason he is going to be alone.
This was way better than comic . Comic batman was lunatic thinking catwoman is under ivy control and even tried to hurt her .......LAME
@Comic Taku she'll be back
Uh no, in The comic batman had a legit reason to distrust Catwoman at The end
A boat should not sail on a single anchor, nor life on a single hope. - Seneca
Batman should stop himself only because of the hope. He needs someone to stop him too. Cat woman could have been the best second anchor. And perhaps she will. People don’t change over night. Batman needs to reevaluate his losses. The loss of Selena.
"someday you will"
yeah idk about that.
But i hope so...😤
