They're best friends. Even if Bruce isn't one to openly admit it all that easily, they have a great deal of mutual trust and respect for each other. Just look at their relationship prior to Injustice kicking off, when a pregnant Lois goes missing, the one person a frantic and panicking Clark immediately goes to for help is Bruce, who immediately gives it and calls in whatever Justice League backup is available at the same time. Clark turns to Bruce for help over anyone else, including Diana, J'onn, Barry, etc. And Bruce in turn is willing to immediately call in the entire Justice League purely because Lois is missing, and The Joker is the one who has her. Plus there's his exchange with Supergirl in Injustice 2 after Clark is seemingly killed by Brainiac: *Bruce:* "I'm going to miss him too." *Kara:* "Do you really mean that?" *Bruce:* "We were friends once. I trusted him with my life. But then The Joker got to him. I lost my friend, Clark. I've missed him ever since." And there's also the "Death of Superman" plot in Justice League where Superman is seemingly killed by Toyman, and Bruce is the only one who refuses to believe that Clark is actually dead (and Bruce is *right* to boot).

And yet, Superman will reccur to killing if someone's out of control, unlike Batman. Kinda ironic.
@Shaun Fleming I dont think so. Im pretty sure the not killing people thing is batman. So maybe one or two versions of him kill. Though superman...
Hes talking about the canon versions in animation . But truth be told superman and batman both see the good in people . Batman sees it and doesnt wanna risk it . Superman sees it and doesnt wanna risk not risking it .
Shaun Fleming that doesn’t count at all, the entire dark multiverse is meant to be bad, it was created that way, so of course there’s gonna be a killing Batman.

Plus there's his exchange with Supergirl in Injustice 2 after Clark is seemingly killed by Brainiac:
*Bruce:* "I'm going to miss him too."
*Kara:* "Do you really mean that?"
*Bruce:* "We were friends once. I trusted him with my life. But then The Joker got to him. I lost my friend, Clark. I've missed him ever since."

"Yes. But if he wanted, we'd be dead already"
That shows just how powerful Superman's willpower is, and how well Bruce and Clark know each other.
Bruce knows that if Superman wanted someone dead; then they would've been dead a long time ago. There is no "beating" Superman, but you can certainly piss him off and slow him down.
Injustice proves that hardcore.
Hell, the only reason Batman is still alive in that universe is because Superman doesn't want to kill him since they were friends. It is still literally Superman's choice he's alive, it's only on batman for that fact he hasn't been caught

In 1986 a woman robbing a bank legit asked Superman, "you wouldn't hurt a lady...?" and he replied by gently taking her glasses off, and then knocking her out with them by chucking them at her face. He wouldn't bat an eye at Ivy getting the daylights kicked out of her.
His first _action_ in his original 1936 story was to basically beat a signed confession out of a female murderer, then tie her up and leave her on the mayor's porch to get executed later on testimony he retrieved under duress.

If anyone is wondering why Superman somehow didn't tear Lois apart by catching her while flying at high speeds, he's always had this power called tactile telekinesis, which is basically telekinesis but through the hands or body. Meaning he can manipulate objects while pushing through the air. It's actually why he can do things like catch planes and lift cars just fine without simply ripping right through them.
Thank you

Damn good point.
She jumped off a building. That always forces Superman's hand.
BooshMasterOriginal I thought the same thing but frankly there’s a number of ways she could’ve done it. Most popular being she pretended to be a victim of some sort, either someone threatening to commit suicide or being robbed or whatever, she doesn’t let him see her face, and when he comes by with his superhero routine and saves her, he gets close while asking “are you hurt?” or “you’re safe now” and then she pounces. Superman can think and move faster than almost anyone on the planet but he also easily lets his guard down........ Sorry for the rant lol
