How to use it:
~~~~~~~~~
1. Download the app.
2. Open AndroidFileTransfer.dmg.
3. Drag Android File Transfer to Applications.
5. Use the USB cable that came with your Android device and connect it to your Mac.
6. Double click Android File Transfer.
7. Browse the files and folders on your Android device and copy files.

A Big thanks today, i can easily transfer file to android
It appears that the functionality isn't compatible with an M1 Mac and a Google Pixel phone. When I connected my Pixel phone to my Mac and switched to File Transfer mode, a dialog box stating "Can't access storage device. Make sure your device is unlocked and 'File Transfer' or MTP mode is selected" appeared. I could briefly see my phone's files behind the dialog box, but upon pressing OK, the files from my phone vanished entirely.

Most of the time, File Transfer will not work on mac mini m1 with Ventura. Maybe 1 in 5 or 8 time it may work.

Hey man, I’m using High Sierra with this app to transfer photos from Android device. I tried to select all (pressing cmd + a buttons ) but it doesn’t. The only thing is working is to select one by one (holding cmd and selecting each file )

i have no clue why this wont work for me.. it just keeps saying no device connected can't find the device and then when the cord registers some other thing pops up not what you are showing

@@BerkeFood Didn't work on my M1 Mac either. This is basic stuff that you would expect it to do, plug-and-play. I really enjoy my mac - and I know it is just so you buy an iPhone. But that is unacceptable, I will never buy a mac again.

Hi , use Wifi file transfer app on google play store , when you clcik start you will see a link generated , visit that link on your computer browser , dhan you will see how easy it is you can see files and folders from your pc directly and copy paste

thing is this app is in a loop of not recognising and connecting to my android phone, irrespective of ports on mac or the connecting cable. you have their working customer support mal id?
Try to uninstall and install it again , make sure to use mtp option to your android phone

How do you select more than one file? I can't click and drag to select all, or command/ctrl and A
When you are on the software file list , select the first file , than click shift keep hold it and click the last file you want to be selected dhan you will se all files are selcted the ones that you picked from top to bottom :)
Pls tell me bluetooth is possible too
Mine keeps sayis "cannot connect to device" even though my device is plugged in and I hit the allow button.
go to privacy and security in settings then go to full disck acess and add android file transfer to it then it will open

Why is no one talking about usb debugging. Find your build number in your about phone section of your android device. Tap it 7 times to activate developer options. Go to said options and find usb debugging and toggle it on. Conncet your android device via usb and it will show up asnit would on windows. Simply drag and drop your files

@@Tips2Fix no problem. Its the simplest and best solution, the only issue there is, is that it shows all the images on the device. Like tempry files from cookies etc

In addition to the steps in the video, you might need to do the following - I had to …
- On your phone, go to Settings > About Phone > Software information.
- Tap on ”Build number” about seven times - yes, ”about seven times” it is - until you see a popup ”Developer mode has been turned on”.
- Go to Settings > Developer options - this is a new option, which you just turned on.
- Tap on ”USB debugging”.
- A prompt appears on the phone, asking you to allow the computer to access data on the phone; tap ”allow”.
- You might need to unplug and replug the cable, or restart the phone, or restart Android File Transfer, or several of them, or all.
- You might now be in business. If not, I don't know :-( here my knowledge endeth.

I have 14k photos on my phone and only were able to download 160. It didn't work for me.
It doesn't work for me. I am using MBP 16 (M1+), and it does not work either for a Samsung Note 10+ or with a Z-Fold 4. I enabled file transfer, checked MacOS enables third party software, and also enabled USB-debugging. I guess the problem is related to some Samsung Software. Please, let me know in case anybody finds a fix.

I can't transfer the data. The app keeps loading on my computer and then breaks. I uninsyalles android file transfer file und reinstall it, the same. I need to tramsfer files very urgently as my phone screen is broken and I am worried about my data.
Hmm you have ti chose MTP option on your mobile , thats the reason , but you have the screen broken

Thanks for this video. It's genuinely upsetting to me that some of us have to look these things up, because Apple doesn't have these basic and essential features in their OS. I don't know if they were aiming for exclusivity, but whatever they did, it came at the cost of being a user-friendly system.

Than you need an usb c to usb c cable use the charger cable if its like im saying or order one online.
