    Thanks for the pattern and all your patterns, great work! I also wanted to offer another option.... After you make the two squares don't finish off the second one, just chain 1 and turn. Start your big triangle directly on that square and when you get to the end of it add the next square and keep crocheting straight across to the end of that square than chain 1 and turn. Continue with your next row. You eliminate the chain for the triangle and joining your work later. It all comes out as one piece and no seams. I also mirror stitched every other row after my first row (on the two squares and triangle) so that the blanket part would look like the head and body where you don't turn but work in continuous rounds. Just worked out easier for me and the stitches all looked the same. Please keep the patterns coming you create the easiest to follow videos and I like the fact that they are written on the screen so we can go back and read them if we don't get it the first time, or skip ahead if we have completed that row and you are teaching some of the basics. GREAT WORK can't wait to see what you create next! Thank YOU!

    This is great can't wait to try it. Just wondering if you ever start to turn your work inside out from the beginning so that you don't have to do it at the end? It makes it so much easier to work from the outside going left (clockwise ) then working on the inside and going right (counterclockwise).

    What size hook for body and rest stuff used with white yarn. Cuz you only mentioned 4mm for nose but that's it

    • @HookandSword
      @HookandSword  2 роки тому

      Hello! So for the body, collar, and blanket I used a H8 (5.0 mm) hook. That is correct, the nose I used the 4 mm hook. Hope this helps! :)

    What if you skipped the body ball completely and just make two panels or “blankets” as you call them and crochet them together? And add pipe cleaners in between? It’ll help with the edges and the illusion of a ghost

    No offense but has anyone noticed when she present the hook sizes instead of saying "millimeters" she says "milliliter" ....or that's just me?

    • @HookandSword
      @HookandSword  2 роки тому +11

      Hi! You are not wrong! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I'm actually hard of hearing and wear hearing aids for most of my life. My enunciation sometimes can be a little off. I've heard that I sometimes do that with milliliters and millimeters and I'm going to keep this in mind moving forward. Not offended at all and thank you for letting me know! 😊 I would rather y'all let me know so I can correct it. Speech for me is always difficult and I'm always doing my best to be as clear as possible.

    Hi all, has anyone tried crocheting this? I started following along with the head part, but got stuck starting at Row 3 onwards, the amount of SC expected don't add up. Row 2 10SC added up, however Row 3, if the expectation is to 1 SC, then 2 SC in each following stitch, it will equal 21 SC, not 15? Can someone please shed some light? Thanks!

    • @gisselleochoa9733
      @gisselleochoa9733 2 роки тому +1

      So it seems like she is only increasing by 5, So I’ve been sneaking in additional 5 sc as i go, then i recount my stitches to make sure the count is right.

    • @meribethives3118
      @meribethives3118 2 роки тому

      worked up fine for me. make it equal 20. so leave off the last increase for that row.
