Because there is two sides to the story and as much as we seem to know what actually happened but we don't have a clue what actually went on and we have no idea weather it was in fact heroic of chael or in fact he was the villain in the story. I met a tough guy once.
I was staying at a high end hotel and noticed an alpha male patrolling the hallways, ensuring the safety of all guests.

If you have even a minimal knowledge of jocko... this is not a surprise. He is friends with tim. They have rolled 100's of times. Also, jacko is a navy seal commander. He doesn't back down, he just hears the mission, figures out a way to win, and then wins! That's what those guys do.
Jocko is the real deal. He is one of the most mentally toughest men alive period. A great guy that served our country and is always trying to better himself and help others to see and help others be the best version of themselves. BJJ is one thing (he’s talented there too) but as a warrior, he’s the real deal and one of the best and most honorable people out there.
And that’s an understatement..
So is tim he was a green berret that served multiple deployments.
Well Tim was a Green Beret so they are even as war fighters. Tim would totally smoke and destroy Jocko in a grappling match and probably hurt him in an actual fight.

I'd like to hear Chael's side too. He's probably not going to discuss that until everything's sorted out legally. If one of those guys tries to take him to civil court it's best not give give them anything to potentially twist or use against him.
All praise to Jocko for accepting the fight, but Tim Kennedy was a really tough dude and trained in MMA and was 5th in the world. Tim would have destroyed anybody who wasn't specifically trained in MMA. There is a huge difference in readiness.
