La Roche-Posay Serozinc (just a spray with zinc in it no oils)- I use this before i moisturise! I have oily skin and works really well for both my acne and reducing the oil production throughout the day!
I love some good Vaseline! It’s so great when you’re prone to dryness and irritation. The cicaplast baume unfortunately caused an allergic reaction for me! My skin got super dry and inflamed. 😢 It’s such a highly individual thing, but Vaseline can help some with acne prone skin, especially if there’s a lot of inflammation. I have super dry skin and putting a thin layer of vaseline all over my face at night before bed is the one thing that makes my skin not flaky and dry for the entire next day!
If you wash your face before doing it I don’t see why it would be a problem. Especially if you are like me with really dry skin. I tried using the cicaplast baume before but I go through the tube too fast and it’s kind of expensive for my budget. It just depends on the person. Many people have had great results from slugging with acne prone skin. Same thing with oil. For the longest time people kept saying no oil for acne. But it literally cleared my sisters acne. Saved her life if I may even say 😂
