Hi. Good video, One question. After a long standing at a traffic light with working engine , I could not move at 1st gear with the usual amount of throttle and the engine stalled. I could not immediately engine start, because the dashboard reset (off and on) . I waited 1 minute and started the engine and drove normally. Was it a sign of overheating? The mileage is 200 km total, battery is perfect condition.
@@about_motorcycles 2 things possible 1. The heat sensor is malfunctioning. It is sending exaggerated data to the ecu to cut off power. 2. Fuel pump sensor issue. ( a few initial bikes had this) In any of the case it will be covered in warranty. Take it to the ASC and complain about it. Or at least call them and inform them.
Hi Dipankar, in Peak Chennai Traffic, where I hardly move 10-20 metres every 2 minutes once or so, within 5 km the heat is unbearable at my legs. My bike has done about 4.5 K Km as of now. Also suddenly, within the past 500 Km, I feel buttocks pain after travelling for about 10 Km, whereas when I bought it this was not the case. This pain is slightly in manageable range only if I over-inflate both tyres. Any suggestions what can I check on both points?
Service interval don’t remember Bro. You would get that in owners manual. But I think having it serviced every 6 months would be good. Valve clearance should be checked every 1 year or 10000 to 15000 kms.
@@DipayanBose thanks Dipayan. I'm still on the fence between this, Meteor and Hunter. Sort of leaning towards the cb for higher top speed and heard of better fuel mileage. Ride safe buddy!
Hello sir, just a question, I have highness cb 350, second service and 5500kms done, still in summers bike is heating to an extent that lower side of tank is heating alot when rode about 40mins in city with avg speed of 40kmph.Even after one hour(post ride) lower side of tank is heated (slightly above warm) The bike takes about 2.5-3 hours to cool completely. Is this normal?
Any good full synthetic oil in our Indian climatic condition, could do a healthy 6000 kms. I don’t recommend more than that. However if you switch grade, make sure to replace the first oil at 2000 kms. Although personally I have never used Shell oils, but it has a very good reputation, so should be a good option.
My rs 350, is heating till the tank, also if I wear shorts, I can't ride it for more than 40 45 mins, the heat hurts my ankle, 2 days back 1st service completed, still it continues, is it over heating? And I'm getting some metal sound ( kee kee kee 😅) from rear tyre while moving or riding the bike, when I keep it on main stand and run the rear wheel, then no sound is coming, when I'm moving the bike on land even with engine off, that sound is coming. While braking etc., its very irritating for a new bike to hear, all my impressions are getting low about my bike. Pls help if you have Any idea on how to cure it.
Ride it till 5000 kms, all these issues will go away. Unless the performance goes down, no need to worry about heating. Engine will heat up while in city traffic rides. Thats normal. Its a 350 cc long stroke engine, so this much heat is normal. It will low down a bit after few thousand kilometres. New engine heats up more. Wearing shorts and riding without covered shoes ( assumed) will cause uncomfortable riding for sure. Try not to do it. Regarding the sound, have the rear brake pads and disc rotor cleaned. It should solve the issue from what I can understand. No need to go to bigwing. Have it done from any good mechanic. Above all, ride the bike with care for few thousand kilometres, which is the running in period, things will sort out. Thanks
Hi, the front brake of my CB 350 RS very randomly gets locked up sometimes...It striked to me only when I had a minor clash last week, thankfully it happened when I was going at a slow speed else it would have been a bigger accident.....what could be the reason?
Reasons could be many, and ideally it should not happen unless someone played around with the brake system. Have it immediately inspected by a professional and get it rectified. Don’t ride before that.
As mentioned sir, the added heat might be because of new type of oil. Give it sometime/kms to settle down. As per my experience bike has become way more smoother. Don’t forget to replace the first oil at 2000 kms. You could ride it the way you want as far as you are doing it sensibly. Don’t be too rough for the first few 100 kms. Rest let me pile up some more kms and will give my final verdict. Thank you.
Hi Dipayan da, recently I am noticing in my cb350rs fuel range is displaying wrong data if fuel is less in the tank. 500ml in the tank but range shows 52 km. Service centre guys says its normal but I doubt it. I think there may be some issue in fuel gauge attached to the fuel pump. Please advice. I travel 200km frequently and so often becomes a headache as fuel range could be wrong and I will be stuck with with empty fuel tank and a unmovvable two wheeler. My bike is only 7 months old
See Bhai, that range is never an accurate thing in any bike or car. Specially in bike because while we ride, the bike tilts so many times right and left, every time the gauge registers a new parameter and tries to displays accordingly. Thats why when the tank is almost full it shows more accurate data than when it is less then a quarter. Not only this bike, this thing is same with mostly all vehicles having range data. You would find when fuel is above half tank, the data shown is more or less correct. I would like to advice you 2 things. 1. Never ride a Fi operated motorcycle with very low fuel. (500 ml is very low) at-least try to keep it half. 2. Follow the fuel bars which is a lot more accurate regardless full or half or bellow quarter tank filled. Whenever you find it has reached the last bar, try and fill it up. Thank you. Happy riding.
2 wheeler mfg do not calibrate fuel to km very accurate , as it may not be value addition to mfg profits . Petrol tanks of bikes are shaped to enhance looks of bikes and are not uniform all over . 4 wheel fuel tanks are usually uniform and mfg can calibrate them better for accuracy

We really need to check whether the piston cooling jet and oil pump could squirt a higher viscous oil effectively.
