I agree but BUYING at the end of the day is an emotional decision EVEN for those who say they're a practical person. RE would be bankrupt by now if their worshippers start thinking logical. Just my opinion. (Disclaimer: Owned RE Classic 350 for 6 years)
Year 1984 June . Had bought the Rajdoot Yamaha RD350 .Used it for 10 years . Great crazy speed rides in the MUMBAI-PUNE-NASHIK triangle .Used to enjoy making the REs of those days bite the dust . That was the real super bike ever in India .
@@tanmayhaldar7565 RX100 and RD350 are totally different classes. RD350 had a mileage of 5 kmpl on a good day and with the amount of mad power its impossible to not rip it all the time. Sir all the words you said is word to word true, I took test ride both bike same day back to back,& feel the smooth and easy nature off cb 350, yesterday took the delivery of my cb 350, today I ride 200 km highway city ride & off road on gfr road ggn trail which 13 km pure off toad & cb 350 does all like cake walk. One more thing, when I make my mind for cb, & booked one, many youtuber video came & saying about the suspension stiffness, & at one point I start thinking to cancel it, but last think ki I will live with stiff suspension, but today when I ride, the suspension is too good, very well tuned,if any body want to go for cb, than go for it, it is gem of a machine, you will never regret, & thank you bullu Sir for such a honest review.
Been loyal to RE since last 20 years, used 5 of them, models Std, Machismo and Classic. After a thorough research, going to upgrade to Dominar 400 soon. Wish me luck !
Actually honda should have launched 500 instead of 350 which would definitely divide the re350 and re interceptor customers in huge amount as 350 is comfortable but can’t ride above 90 and 650 is vibration less but not comfortable
Sir, I just suddenly watched your programme . Simply loved it . A awesome interaction and presentation . Undoubtedly , I must admit that not only you both two have a tremendous knowledge about your subject but the same goes with your explaining power also . Even an common ordinary biker will be able to start learning the criterias of a better machine after watching your programme . Once again thanks for this wonderful video .
There is no point in comparing these two machines. Each has it's own character and purpose. In strict terms CB350 is roadster and the Meteor 350 is a classic cruiser. Even the character of engines and drive trains are different to suit different riding styles ( CB 350 loves to revved hard and the Meteor is more for sedate cruising ). Why compare apples and oranges when each has it's own flavor???
One of the best vehicle comparison i ever seen by well experienced riders I own a honda unicorn 160 bs 6 which gives me immese riding pleasure and smoothness wothout a single issue. So before attaining the age of 60 a year later i should my dream for buying a bullet should i materialise but during sitting in cusomer lounge in gugnani honda service station i saw Hness and fallen in love with Hness .So i decided to buy Hness at the earliest and i would love to invite both of you during receiving my bike from showroom with few touring tips from you both . Re is a tough to maintain bike with service intervals every 2000 km. Also it's heavy and gives a lot of vibrations at 90+ speed. Re parts are not upto the mark and I personally don't prefer chrome which eventually rusts. On the other hand, honda cb350 has a service interval of 6000 km and it doesn't produce vibrations at high speeds. Also they have done a good job tuning it for a cruising speed of 70-90 kmph, delivering 42-44 kmpl mileage at such speeds. Its tall 5th gear works at relatively low rpm at 90 kmph which makes it fuel efficient. It's the best cruiser ever made in india. I mean the petrol prices have gone above 100. Also if you compare it with avenger 220, the avenger delivers a mileage of 35 kmpl at 90 kmph. Now that's where honda CB 350 shines. It's not a performance bike but an efficient cruiser that could happily do 90-100 kmph all day long. P.S. even 100 cc bikes would give a mileage 30-35 kmpl at high speeds bcoz they work at high rpm and thus get easily stressed out.

Initial torque issue can be overcomed with a bigger rear sprocket change! It will be available as an accessory from major aftermarket manufacturers for sure.
Bulu and Sidharth, Of-course you have given a complete comparison and anybody can easily assess and come to a conclusion which bike suits better, but what i liked in the video is, the harmony, ease of interaction and the close friendliness you showed, one is taking a pause when other is pitching in.., the whole interaction is like a breeze. This my friends is the reason why UA-cam exists.Real content worthy of watching which gives crystal clear clarity about the doubts about which ti choose.I did not realise it was actually 40 mins long and i actually paused in between to comment even before the video was ending due to the fact that i believe that this video is by far the best review comparison between these two motorcycles , i was actually disappointed with the powerdrift review video as i felt it was biased and unfair. This video really made me feel so deeply overwhelmed due to the fact that truly you guys are really unbiased about either if the two bikes and also you have sound knowledge and experience depth wise about motorcycles.Hats off.
Very apt
29:48 I also own shares of Eicher because of it's good business and growth. But again , I will pick Honda between these two 😍
This was genuinely the best review for these bikes, you guys talked about stuff that actually matters
I have been working with Japanese people and Japanese products,,,,,,,no one can beat e2e process of product testing refinement by Japanese...no comparison of 100+ old year honda technology...Japanese consider even smallest part of any product.....you guys did a good comparison except "emotional " word used so many times
Looks like you dud not meet the Rx100 once you entered city 😉 moral of story..... There is more to a bike than flat out speed
@@tanmayhaldar7565 RX100 and RD350 are totally different classes. RD350 had a mileage of 5 kmpl on a good day and with the amount of mad power its impossible to not rip it all the time. It was extremely powerful bike and the thrill of that RAW technology in those days cannot be compared to anything else ever. I had a 1982 Bullet and always envied people with RD350. RX100 is raw too but different category.
This video changed my decision to buy meteor to cb350 now I m proud owner of honda highness thanks bulu bhai for review
Where to go for servicing.
Honda showroom or bigwing
The H'ness..But the nearest Bigwing from my home is 180 km away so by the time I come home, I will have to ride it back to the showroom, and get the first service done..:D
750 to 1000 km
I heard sometimes they also sell in normal show rooms and service it like in Trivandrum
Now available in normal showrooms check bigwing website and availability. I purchased it in normal honda showroom in dehradun
In west bengal kolkata no big wings showroom.
I couldn't stop laughing... 😭
Bought Honda H'ness anniversary edition army green colour last week. This bike is just another level. The torque, breaking, handling, smoothness, fit n finish, everything is just awesome.

Good decision! If you want emotions RE is your choice.... If you want a machine CB350...
Re is good......... As long as its not having any issues.
Exactly@@hariguduru
Been loyal to RE since last 20 years, used 5 of them, models Std, Machismo and Classic. After a thorough research, going to upgrade to Dominar 400 soon. Wish me luck !
good decision 😊
Actually honda should have launched 500 instead of 350 which would definitely divide the re350 and re interceptor customers in huge amount as 350 is comfortable but can’t ride above 90 and 650 is vibration less but not comfortable
They are launching few more variants in forth coming months and years. I think it would rival RE on full scale
Proud to be an owner of a soulless, vibration-free motorcycle 😉
😂😅 Seriously. Who wants vibration either going to office or on highway.
😂
@@itsourlife meteor mei bhi utna vibration nhi hota though. Honda is honda but meteor is also good
@@adityan3208 yes my second best favourite is meteor. I bought CB350 But hope later I'll buy meteor also.
Proud to be an owner of a soulful motorcycle and vibrant ( vibration-much) relation with my mechanic 😂
How meteor can be classic. When we have Classic 350 itself.
If you've never had fruit, you don't know if you'd like apples better than oranges.
Nice comparison, Honda should launch Highness 500 with parallel-twin engine with good Bhp and torque. At least.
Instead of that they should launch rebel 500.
One of the best vehicle comparison i ever seen by well experienced riders
I own a honda unicorn 160 bs 6 which gives me immese riding pleasure and smoothness wothout a single issue.
Hope we will meet shortly. With Regards
After comparing each and every expect i am finally owner of cb350. Happily rode my first 100km
Now how was your bike
Looks like you have not touched Meteor. First go and ride the bike.
Definitely your verdict is going to improve the sales of honda..
Waiting for CB400
Same here,400 is in pipeline 👍
When we have CS400 in market???
cb400 is four cylinder 🔥
Great honest review... Actually I enjoyed thank you very much... for such a detail review... one can have detail information after just watching your video rather than go to showroom and have a test drive
Very practical video, coming from a rider who actually tours long and has ridden and owned every type of motorcycle there is. This video is on point and the experience of the rider clearly shows in the points covered and the feedback given!

Nice Video Bulu Bhai. The entire chassis of Meteor is new. Underpinning are totally different in Meteor. Actually, CB is not a comparison for Meteor. Will wait for a comparison when the new Classic comes with this new engine and chassis. Nice video. But RE is RE.

I agree with you about Highness should have launched with their usual showrooms then with Big Wing showrooms.
Because I wanted to take it but due unavailability of Big Wing Showroom(Not even in radius of 50 kms of my residential) , I am not able to take a test ride of it.
As now Honda has higher reliability but definatly RE seems to be improving and working on it.

I took test ride of 5 bikes in one day ... Classic 350 , meteor 350 , Himalayan , jawa and cb 350 ... The best I felt on was meteor 350 ❤️❤️❤️ and I'm not even a fan boy of RE .. The best review of these two bikes..well done guys. You are just solid in your assessments.
After watching all the comparisons, one thing came to my mind that nothing compares to the Indians for generations ownership of pride Royal Enfield. 👍
Very nice ☘️ wonderful video. I bought both on same day. You are so right about these bikes.
They are considered the most reliable bikes you can buy, which take zero maintenance and are rock solid for decades.
This video is really great, where they have explored in many angles.
Yet, I would say to all people not to decide based on this video as the people reviewing here are like regular riders who rides 100s and 1000s of KMs and their perspective in kinda inclined towards it.
As wise man once said, test ride the bikes and follow what ur heart says.
One question from my side is, for a 5ft 5 inch height person, which is better between Hness CB 350 vs Meteor ?
Honda is very reliable. The bikes does not fail during long rides. I did my 1600 km long ride on Honda Trigger CBS and I rode continuously, nonstop. I was trying to do the saddle sore challenge which I failed 😅 but the bike felt smooth, the engine was stress free and the bike didn’t fail.
All looking at here, and heard more on service centers less, BTW 88 numbers across the country for now, by 22 March planned to add 300 more, thanks Bulu Patnaik Bhai you have helped me a lot to understand how to pick the bike am a beginner here, in this but your's and Adi SIr review made clear for me to buy Honda H'ness bike huge thanks Bro
