Yes me too! They don't seem to know much of anything. Much less the newest current products. I remember last year hearing a lady ask about the new Becca foundation & the girl said I'm not sure but this is all we have for Becca... That foundation showed up on the shelf one week later. They won't even ask to be sure. They just look at you dumfounded. I followed that lady out of the store & told her which nearby Ulta already had it on the shelf!

as a makeup artist I think what you gals are doing is great not a lot of gals and guys out there know the difference of the products they use and it helps those who are unfamiliar or just follow what the gurus say BC not every product works for every type of canvas outthere . I just want to say this is much appreciated and great info .

A tip i started doing for under eye creasing i know this video isnt about that, but i figured id post it here anyways.
Ok i may not be the first person to try this, but i havent really heard anyone talking about this.
After i apply my foundation and concealer ( concealer is blended with a beauty blender then i do a general blending all around the face to get rid of any brush marks from my foundation application or extra product) i wait about 1 to 5 minutes (depending on how much time i have) to let the liquids set. Then i powder my face ( your powder of choice pressed, loose. your face baby 😉) avoiding the eye area. Then i use my beauty blender again around the eye (lid and under eye) to blend in the creasing after my concealer has fully set, taking away the excess that has built up in the lines, and then i set the under eye.
Ive been doing this for about a month. i still have some creasing, but i have a LOT of natural folds on my eye, but id say this reduced my creasing by about 90% vs setting my undereye before i powder my face.
Just another tip to try, im allways looking for tips to try. Hope this helps somebody. 😀

This really helped a lot! I have been getting a white cast or getting super dry in certain areas (I have oily skin) so thank you Sephora for helping me realize I was just over powdering, lol :) I do have a question, what about Pressed powders? The only setting powders talked about were loose powders so I'm curious, what are the best pressed powders to set your makeup with? and which is better to set your face with, Pressed powder or Loose powder? Thanks Sephora!

Thanks Carla about that little tip. I completely forgot that by using Urban Decay Original Primer Potion can really reduce the risk of under eye creasing when used before applying your foundation or concealer. Ha, i will remember that tomorrow morning. But i experimented this morning and only used foundation under my eyes without concealer and set them with the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder. No creasing even after 30 minutes, even after 5 hours! Maybe that is my answer. Use a lighter shade of toundation under my eyes as a concealer.
