I have been using the Caudalie beauty elixir for years. I have combination skin. It did not dry my skin. It made my pores look smaller. I am 35 (turning 36, shhhhh 😉). Sometimes the nozzle get jammed because the oil hardens especially when I carry it when traveling. I just soak the nozzle down in a warm water for few minutes & the nozzle is fine again.
Can you do a video talking about tips for mascara transferring to the undereye area? I've tried powdering all around my eyes, waterproof mascara, using less mascara/only at roots of eyelashes, etc. Maybe it is just because i have oily skin? Usually by the end of the day i have mascara under my eyes and when i try to wipe it away, i just end up tugging. Thanks! Great video for oily skin!

I second the comment asking about the transferring mascara to the under eye. I also have this problem, however, I'm thinking it's my under eye concealer. I guess I just cannot put any type of concealer under there... after foundation, I have to set extremely well... pretty much bake in order to not get mascara transfer.

My question is, what can I use on my cheek to keep the foundation staying better and not having the rosacea show through? I use yellow color corrector and concealer before I add foundation. Please help if possible!
Thank you! Maybe just a little green (or yellow if you're super fair) corrector pressed onto the cheek before foundation to combat redness. I recommend the Sephora Collection bc it stays put throughout the day.

Besame powder is really heavy, I only use it AS A CONCEALER: I put foundation under my eyes and set it with Besame and since its pretty pigmented not only its covered but set at the same time. Its amazing.

Try the Too Faced Born This Way concealer, I don't know how they did it but its makes you look crazy smooth. Also spritz with toner after you apply powder to melt it into your skin and take away dryness.

Do you have any gel or pencil eyeliner that you recommend? I have really oily eyes and after few hours my eyeliner smudges under my eyes and it really frustrates me .
You have to prime first and stop the oil before it starts. I like the Too Faced eye primer to stop shine. I usually use the Sephora Collection Contour Eye pencils or Marc Jacobs Highliner.

Sounds like you're a little dehydrated if you're getting patchy. Exfoliate a couple times a week to take care of flakiness. Hydrate like crazy at night and I think you'd like the Laura Mercier Oil free primer all over and maybe an oil control primer like Becca's only in your oily spots. I know its buying 2 products but they'll last twice as long.
I think it's because some people just like the coverage of a liquid or cream foundation. I for example am oily so I should probably just use powder but I prefer not to haha
I love the caudalie beauty elixir, but the spray in the one I have is really really bad... I can't spray it directly on my face, because half the time it squirts, and the other half, the elixir comes out from the wrong 'hole' in the spray and I get it all over my hands instead... I feel that's sad for such an expensive product... My fix is that I apply it by putting it in to the palm of my hand and pressing it on my face before makeup....
Myiesha please do a video with the la met the powder. I’m so confused if it’s a setting powder or a finishing powder? Can I use a setting spray on top of it? What about the beauty elixir? I bought the powder on a whim and can’t find any useful information. Nordstrom and la mer both say it’s a finishing powder in the description but la mers one tutorial that’s like 90 seconds seems to use it as a finishing powder and so do the UA-cam gurus. Help please!

Belinda La Freniere My friend has rosacea and se uses Neo Gens calendula tonic and estee lauder Day Waer (regular, not light). No rosacea visible.

Wendi Deng Kat von D has a touch of simmer but it is talc free (non comedogenic). Laura Mercier's fully matte, but its first ingredient is talc.

I just prefer liquid foundation because I like a glow finish to my makeup. Just using powder works for a lot of people though.
