- Here's the Perfect-Grade 1/60 scale Strike Gundam. Being a PG kit, it's a little costly, but all the amazing egineering packed in makes it worth it! Awesome detail, awesome gimmicks. It all makes for a perfect PG kit if you're looking for one to start off with!

1/60 has nice proportion. The leg is not too long or too thin. It looks perfectly balance.

If a MD has like long legs, I would blame Katoki for it, but I like long legs

Nice to see you to finally get to this kit Zach. This PG is extremely awesome; probably the most articulate PG next to the Astray (which as you mentioned is the same frame). If you haven't yet, you should check out my ongoing complete build of my PG Strike Gundam on my channel. I'm using the Strike Rouge kit and yes, it does come with a display base.
I'll be watching to see what you come up for this kit.

sadly does not come with plot armor-sliding metal plate-to shield the punctured exposed cockpit-from the Aegis's self destruct explosion-gimmick, HECK this Gundam manages to save two of it's pilots lives in its service (if you include the Neo Roanoke part of the story).

If you've never built a PG, get this one. Best Gunpla I've ever owned. You can also shell out an extra $50 or so for the PG Skygrasper, which comes with an action base and the Aile Striker if you want to go aerial. I sure hope the Exia ends up being this good.

if you want the action base for the you need to buy the 1/60 skygrasper for it
Came to watch PG pron while I wait for my 2020 release- i feel the same about PG vs MG, this will be my first.
the two holes at the lower back skirt is for plugs that charges energies(you'll know what I mean if you have a MG version)
and for the action base, it actually have one
but it's actually been selling along with PG sky grasper which also includes an Aile strike pack in it
so if you want an action base for this PG strike, then you may have to buy the PG sky grasper for it
unless you already have one

I still think this is one of the best perfect grades.
I feel the same dude, I always see PGs just sitting there, not posed very much. I imagine building one is fun like you say, but for the money I can get a few MGs and enjoys those more.
I'm envisioning turning the grand slam into the gunblade from FF8 and give the Gundam a Squall themed paint job
Color suggestion! Primarily black (maybe metallic and matte for color separation) gold accents, Pearl purple secondary colors with a pale purple for separation on the purple spots. About to do that to my RG strike ;) love your vids man, taught me tons, wallet kinda hates you though haha
Can't go wrong with a Strike Gundam. No matter what grade it is.

Old kit my first pg. Had to glue 1 part. Fun build.
There is a sliding gimmick on the chest two panels open up to reveal two inner frame vents just though ya wanna know

As beautiful as this kit is, it's only now I notice the sheer size of a PG XD HG and MG it is for me!
I have the strike rouge on the way from newtype, but thanks to all the left over astray parts,
I'm gunna used the red parts that are mostly the knee and back lower leg parts
It looks like a really cool kit but damn those stickers for a perfect grade seems like such a stupid thing to do. Plus the v fin is hollow?
kong DaBomb sort of hollow, there's detail in the back of it! So it's actually quite nice, not just empty space
I'm bout to start the pg strike rouge and bought water slide decals..got them from usagundamstore..

I have this kit and I think 14000 isn't that expensive consider what you get....and if you compare it to the 1/100 Hi-Res series, this is WAY cheaper :P

Goo with the 00 raiser. . .the SF is okay but has some loose parts especially on the connection between the waist and the chest. While the 00 had some good reviews alread, they say its the second best from the rg Unicorn.

Chad Alagar I would recommend the riser. The strike freedom is nice and I like them both. But the 00 RGs are newer so they use a better, modern inner frame and that makes them easier to build in my opinion. Also if you do ever build the RG strike freedom make sure to connect the (upper body/chest) and (waist/legs) very securely together. It seems like it's loose but you're supposed to hard push them together. Otherwise it'll fall in half all the time.(common mistake with some of the Gundam seed RGs)

Hey I am new to Gunpla and am loving your videos. You mentioned a commission kit and although I want to most myself I think it would be awesome to get a kit that was done by someone with your skill level. Unfortunately I live in the US. Any idea on how to look for that kind of option (paying for a commission kit)?

It's one of Kits i had the most fun while building.
Even though i'm quite partial to the design and deeply dislike SEED. (Second part of the first series really ticked all my hateboxes, so much so, that i haven't even watched destiny)
Yet still, i highly recommend this PG! It's just that good.
how does the plastic compared to bandai's recent release?
Recent pg releases are just enlarged mg's. With lighting gimmicks which are boring and not really impressive. But boy this one. Really perfect and a technological marvel. Pistons. Sliding armors. Mech details. Puts pg uni to shame.
That is so true. I think Bandai gave up on the MG an PG an went for the RG an HG. The strike was one of the older PG. Still to this day one of the best.

This pg strike is the reason we don’t have proper sliding gimmicks anymore ,sure this is a good kit but it kind of ruined the pg line forever .

Perfect Grade are "higher" in a sense that they are more expensive, larger, and more parts.

Under the little hatch that he didnt know what was for? Its not really a gunpla thing, its where the cables on the launcher connect to the gundam before takeoff.
I almost made the mistake of doing this kit for my first ever gundam build. Thank goodness my mom was too lazy to order it for my birthday
this kit is perfect for a beginner... everything is oversized, so I don't you would had any problems.

This was my first PG, and first gunpla after a long (~10 yr) break a few years ago. It's one of the cheapest PGs, and definitely worth it, especially if you are a Strike fan.
angel castillo Nah. I apparently thought PG was too hard so I thought I'd go the easy route and do an RG. Lol.
^RG at the very least gives you headache. Go for something simpler.
