Cool vlog Julie! I work full-time as an actuary (have you ever heard of this lol) but am pursuing a Masters in Statistical Science part-time. My typical school day (have 1 class each on Wednesday and Thursday) is work, take the metro/shuttle from Arlington to attend class at Fairfax, and then shuttle/Metro back home or go to the bars in Clarendon depending on how I feel lol. Occasionally I'll play chess on the 2nd floor of JC to kill time before my 7:20 class on Wednesday.
this was such a cool video! i’m a senior who just got accepted into gmu and is def considering it! are u guys allowed to just play sports like that for fun without joining a team? if so that’s really nice
Thank you, and congratulations on your acceptance into GMU! Yes, you can play sports for fun here at the gym if you are a full-time student. If you want to join a sports team, there are programs like Intramurals and Club, which I definitely recommend
Although I just started middle school this year and I’m going into 7th soon. I’m super excited to hopefully get into gmu like my aunt and uncle in 2029-2030! Woo class of 2029 (yes I’m young) also a question have u ever taken ap history? I’m interested for high school

That's awesome! Some advice I would give to new students is try to get involved especially if you are a commuter (clubs and other activities are a great way to make friends) and deeply research what you want to do before deciding your major, it'll save you a lot of time & $
Many of the students don't live on campus here so social life is not so active compared to other schools. But the area provides good opportunities if you are looking to pursue a degree here.

How would you describe the culture? Recent transplant to the area and might want to pursue a part time degree
