How is it as an out of state student. Did you do anything personally to offset the tution

not going to lie, the out of state tuition is rough. I would recommend applying for scholarships or getting a part time job! UCLA offers a lot of on campus jobs which is helpful! There's also a lot of places that hire around UCLA, like in Westwood (retail stores, restaurants, etc).
