I was introduced to Laura through Patterns in Repeat. I keep describing it as the single most intimate, warm album I've ever heard. Like eavesdropping on a mother singing lullabies to her children. This is exactly the kind of setting I'd expect it to be performed in. Beautiful.
Just can't thank you enough for filming this. I was there, but not as good a position as you were (standing near a gate that was frequently opened when people were fainting etc, and had to be retrieved, so quite disruptive). All seated tics seemed to sell out in less than 60 seconds - how is that even possible? Your filming is just perfect. Thank you again.
Thank you so much, I was so gutted I couldn't get tickets. I've been wanting to see her ever since I listened to Once I Was An Eagle in my early teens. Sad she doesn't do Sophia, I think it's her magnum opus, if you even can have a magnum opus with as many great songs as she has.
@@makemakeprod that’s the only issue with Laura, she has too many masterpieces for a 90 minute show! Although I do love this set and she seems to have a few mainstays by now which I appreciate.
You were probably quite near us where someone passed out quite early on. So sorry that you missed the performance and how great that someone has posted this footage.
Thank you so, so much for this. I was there that evening. This was an incredible experience of finally being able to see her live after listening to her music for more than a decade.
@@stevencornfield6637 my brother and I say the same each time we see her. We’ve seen her around 8-9 times now and her voice seems to just get stronger as she ages. She’s a Marvel!
Very much like this. Just yourself and a guitar not an approach much taken these days. Definitely Joni Mitchell influence. But I think her current record is a rather vast departure from her, at least thematically.

7:16 the LYRIC CHANGE. "i now know what that's like and I'm so glad that you know."
OH MY GOD.
Her voice sounds tremendous here. Wish she'd put out a live album this era.
This is masterful, Laura's singing and the quality of this video. If only she toured in multiple US states...
Lovely set, great to hear the new songs, pulled the audio and did a lovely audio master....beautiful

Thank you!! I was there and it's such a gift to watch and be able to see it all again.
Such a talent

I'm a big fan of Laura Marling, and her voice is splendid! 😄😄
So glad someone posted this! I passed out halfway through and missed some of my favourites☹️
@@Trainsintrouble I heard someone fainted yesterday. I’m so sorry - hope you are feeling better

Thank you so much. I wanted to be there so badly.
Looks like you were the only night that got 'Alas I Cannot Swim'. She's a national treasure.
Absolutely masterful.

Agreed
Thank you for showing these. 'Nouel' was sensational..is it possible her voice is getting better? 😮

Thank you SO much for putting this up. I was meant to be going on Friday but had to change plans. This is just gorgeous.
Wow! Thank you!
Thank you so much for putting this up! Saw her at the matinee on Saturday after wanting to see her for a long time and it was truly magical
She cancelled her LA shows (she’s pregnant, congrats!), so now I just have to watch this on repeat
