About Love (1970)

Hello everyone - having started with film clips right back from 1925 we have now reached films of the seventies. A time span that witness just how much has changed in the Soviet Union over that period. The films now having lesser political under-tones and become more mundane and romantic. This film clip is from “About Love” (in Russian: О любви). It is a Soviet romantic drama film directed by Mikhail Bogin. Thirty-year-old lovely Galina is smart, charming and beautiful. She works as a restorer in the workshop of the Leningrad Yekaterininsky Palace. and, it would seem, was created for love. Evgeny Krylatov has composed the score and Bel Air Music’s recording of “About Love” is here replacing the original sound-track.
